If you’re visiting PEI, Fisherman’s Wharf Restaurant is one of those places you really have to experience at least once. The lobster? Absolutely amazing. The famous 60-foot salad bar? Let’s just say it’s a wonder of the culinary world. It has everything you can think of, and then a few things you didn’t even know you wanted but are glad you tried. We arrived absolutely starving, but by the time we were done, I was so full I had to undo my pants—absolutely no regrets. I tried the 1-pound lobster and wife had the scallops, both of which were cooked to perfection. The scallops were sweet and tender, and the lobster was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is lively, with lots of tables, and some of the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. Service is lightning-fast, and you can tell the food is fresh. We had no issues at all with the service. Honestly, the only reason I might try another spot on my next PEI visit is because there are just so many great restaurants to choose from here on the island—not because of any fault with Fisherman’s Wharf. I’m already looking forward to going back someday for another round of lobster and a trip down that epic salad bar. Word of warning: it’s not the cheapest, at around $60 a person, but you’re getting some of the freshest seafood you’ll ever eat—and honestly, you deserve to treat yourself to something that nice every once and a while. Final thought: The only thing bigger than the lobster or the salad bar is the nap you’ll need after you get back to the hotel!

I highly enjoy lobster. So when I went the PEzi I really wanted to try a lobster supper, and this is 1 of 2 places that came up. What I really like about this place is that they had an all you can eat salad bar, dessert and mussels. So while I was waiting for my lobster to come to my table, I was able to go up and get a whole bucket of mussels and just eat through while I wait. Plus they also give you a couple more buckets. So when you fill one up with shells. Also, they give you a little bib for eating the lobster, so you don't splash yourself with all the lobster juice. The only issue that I had with this place is that it was the ending of summer so they lost a lot of their students workers. So they didn't have enough staff for all the people. So the wait time was 30 minutes, but other than that, probably during the busy time the wait isn't as long but again it is a buffet and they have really good lobster so hard to say, but I would go again.

I had a very nice experience at Fisherman's Wharf. Yes, it is pricey, but it's a nice experience especially when on vacation. Our server, Adam, was very attentive and genuinely kind. I would definitely visit again when vacationing in PEI.

The experience wasn't worth the money spent unless you plan on eating four buckets of mussels, which I did, along with at least three of the strawberry cheesecakes that were absolutely perfect. The salad options were basic, with a lot of choices that I didn't like, so I didn’t take much from the open salad buffet. I found it ridiculous that drinks were not included in the entry price. I paid over $60 for a boiled lobster that came with only garlic butter, and the lobsters were small. My husband ordered a steak, asking for it to be cooked medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium well. Additionally, the slices were extremely thin, and he paid over $50 for it. On the plus side, the service and staff were very friendly. Overall, I feel like we paid for the experience, but I don’t think I will return.

If you ever find yourself in Prince Edward Island—famously one of the 100 places you should visit in your life—make sure you don’t skip Pier 15 at Fisherman’s Wharf. We came here for the fresh local lobster, and it was absolutely worth it. The lobster was perfectly cooked, sweet, and tender—truly the taste of PEI on a plate. You can tell they take pride in sourcing and preparing their seafood right from local waters. The setting is casual but welcoming, with great views of the wharf and the bustle of boats coming and going. Besides the lobster, there’s a nice selection of other seafood if you want to sample more local flavours. Prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and freshness. If you’re planning a trip to PEI, Pier 15 is a spot you really shouldn’t miss. Come hungry and ready for a real East Coast experience.

5 Stars – A Memorable Dining Experience! We had an incredible meal at Fishermen’s Wharf Restaurant in PEI! The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the famous all-you-can-eat mussels and salad bar did not disappoint. A special shoutout to Adam, our server—he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. His attentive service truly elevated our experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the island!

I’ve been coming here for the past 15 years . Presently I rate it a 8/10. Friendly staff. High quality food. Never ending supply of mussels. Tasty seafood chowder. Lobster is fresh! Great atmosphere. Always a line up outside the door - moves efficiently. Pay for meal upfront, buy drinks with server, and gratuity after. 60 foot salad is a 7/10 - was much better 5 -10 years ago… Presently, there are only 3 salad dressings when there used to be 10… The Salad bar used to contain hot items such as Fish, Cod, more than 1 chowder, variety of soups, ice cream bar, shrimp section, shredded cheese etc…. Now all of these + more are gone… Seems they are catering more to the bus tours nowadays compared to the returning maritime folks…

Bit understaff due to back to school. I arrived at 6 and had waited for 20 mins to get seated whilst the dining area was just 50% full. Free flow mussels and seafood chowder are nice and well cooked. Lobster is bit overcooked though.
