Fisher's Popcorn

I always stop at Fisher’s Popcorn when I’m in Ocean City. The popcorn is fresh, the service is great, and the staff is always friendly. Consistently awesome every time I visit.

Best 1/2 gal for $9.00 Carmel popcorn ever !!!

Popcorn was really good, I ordered a few buckets when I got home.prices are great and the service is excellent.

As long as they keep up the military perk, I'll keep patronizing Fishers! They double orders to APO/ FPO addresses. Twice I've had popcorn shipped to my son on deployment. How cool to receive Fishers while on an air craft carrier so far from home. Thank you Fishers! 👍

If you are in OC you must visit Fisher’s popcorn. Their caramel popcorns are one of a kind. This specific store can get busy but they are efficient and straight to business. You can get in and out within 2 mins. Really would love try all the verity but the Caramel has me hooked.

I first discovered Fisher's Popcorn while visiting a souvenir shop in Baltimore several years ago. Since I consider myself a popcorn connoisseur I was totally blown away by the Old Bay Caramel Popcorn when I tasted it and I knew that if I ever drove down to Ocean City that this would be one of the first stops I make to pick up buckets of popcorn to take home. The set up of the shop is like an ice cream parlor, and they have assorted flavors and different sizes (ranging from boxes to buckets) for purchase. It can seem a bit costly, but this popcorn is definitely worth the price, in my opinion.

My addiction to fishers caramel popcorn is rather disturbing to me. I just can’t stop eating it. It’s always been a favorite of mine since I was young but normally after eating caramel popcorn for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks during my week long ocean city vacation I’ll grab a gallon tub for home and I’m done until next year. However now the local grocery stores in my area sell the popcorn tubs and I argue with myself every weekend that I don’t need a tub of popcorn yet I always end up buying it and eating the entire tub in 1.5 days. To compensate for all the fishers popcorn I eat I walk 12 miles a day on my treadmill. The struggle is real. If you haven’t tried it, you must try it. Since I need nothing for my birthday or holidays I’m asking all my family for fishers caramel popcorn. I’ve been talking about fishers so much this last month that it annoys my husband.

This was my first time trying the popcorn from Fisher's and I can say that I am completely hooked! They taste sooooo good! They have so many different flavors and even seasonal flavors. My favorite is the original caramel but also the pumpkin spice flavor 🎃 They also have a wide variety of containers for you to choose from and they are all priced very reasonably. Definitely coming back here for more the next time I'm in the area. This is a spot you don't want to miss out on visiting.

Really good popcorn but just like everything else around here it's overpriced. Loved the caramel & cheddar mix. The bucket it comes in keeps it nice and fresh. Employees were super friendly.

(From our summer vacation ) This is a must stop if on vacation in Maryland and going on the broad walk. Service is always friendly. And just the smell of the popcorn being made fresh, makes you not want to leave. They make different flavors. We always buy a big container with half Carmel corn and half cheddar popcorn. Perfect combo to eat while watching a movie or just hanging out.

Terrible. I got the butter flavor. Did not taste buttery at all. All you can taste is salt. I love popcorn, but I think this is the worst popcorn I've ever had in my entire life.

We were staying in a different part of town but wanted Fisher's to take home because it's a must shore treat! Since we were headed out the next morning we got ours at this location. So glad we did; it was literally being make in the copper kettle in the back. I had no idea they made it fresh at this location. Bonus for us because it was still warm when she handed us our tub. Service is counter service and fast paced but great. If you aren't snacking right away get a tub as I was told the boxes don't stay fresh more than an hour. I can't speak to any flavor other than Carmel but I am sure they are all tasty!

Staff here was so friendly--offered samples for us to try of their popcorn flavors. I did do a sample of the Carmel dusted with old bay and so glad I did. I did not find that flavor standing out in anyway--the caramel flavor overpowered the old bay itself so you did not taste much if the old bay. Super glad samples were given for me to narrow down which flavors I would want. I ended up getting their Cinnamon Caramel and Orange Cheddar. Both were bursting of flavors and so unique. Both are a definite must purchase. In addition, I went to another Fisher's Popcorn location and found out that this Ocean City location is the only one that does different and unique flavors. Whereas the others are for wholesale so they only have the standard flavors.

The absolute best kettle corn & different flavors of popcorn. All I can say is I have been going there since I was a little child but it is so good and the best thing--drumroll-it's warm when you get it so dig in and enjoy:-) I love the different flavors and sizes you can get. I got caramel corn and it was delicious. 5/5 for service, quality, taste, price ($8-$35 I think). And the smell of the popcorn being made permeates the air. Definitely don't miss this if you're a popcorn fan. 5/5

Is your trip to Ocean City complete without Fisher's Popcorn!? Absolutely not. Prior to leaving I stopped by to grab some popcorn for myself and family back home. It was evident that many of the customers were buying for a bunch of people as some were leaving with multiple buckets of popcorn! We ordered a large bucket of buttered old bay and another with caramel. I also got a small box of caramel to snack on. They are not skimpy with the portions and the popcorn is the freshest you will find. You will have minimal, if any, kernels left at the bottom of the bucket. Fisher's also ships their popcorn and I order it each year around the holidays. The only complaint my husband has is that he cannot order the buttered old bay online, only in store.

Stopped up in Delaware and saw this place at the side of the main drag and pulled over. The white cheddar wasnt that great. Highly recomend the butter anc caramel.

Popcorn was okay but as I went to do my purchase an employee ate popcorn right from the batch of popcorn that's being served to customers. Highly unsanitary

The smell alone would be worth the money. I got the kettle corn, others got the caramel corn and peanut caramel corn. All were fantastic and the prices weren't bad either!

Fisher's Popcorn Shells and Rock Candy is what this should be called..At one time they were known to be a great popcorn company, but for the past 2 to 3 years, after purchasing the Extra Large containers ( approx 5 of them over years) All of them contain excessive shells while eating, not to mention a load nonpopped kernels..if that is not enough to break or crack a tooth..you have to look out for all of the "hard as a rock " sugar caramel chunks. I am sad to say I will not be buying this once great product anymore and warn my friends to have great dental benefits before indulging.

Fisher's popcorn is a cult favorite! Every visit to Ocean City I have a list of whom I need to bring popcorn back to! Caramel and white cheddar are the most requested. I took a large tub of caramel into work and it was empty within 2 days. I do work with a bunch of men who snack all day. But they are particular about their snacks. Fisher's even has some Old Bay seasoning on popcorn, caramel and Old Bay. Interesting combination. Cheddar and Old Bay, not too bad. If you're ever in Ocean City, grab a tub or 2. You won't be disappointed! There will be a line but it moves quickly. The workers are friendly and will give out a sample tasting if asked.

Love this popcorn; evokes memories lol; not so great for the teeth- just floss. An OC tradition getting Fisher's popcorn and/or Thrasher's fries. And, don't let the seagulls have; or they ALL come!!!

I came here on a Saturday afternoon since I was walking on the boardwalk. The staff member let me try the popcorn beforehand which was nice. I tried the Old Bay butter and the Old Bay caramel flavors. The caramel did not have much Old Bay flavor but the butter one was very strong. The popcorn was fresh and interesting. They have many different sizes including plastic buckets and cardboard boxes. The prices were pretty good. I asked how long it would stay fresh in a bucket and they said two weeks. I ordered a small plastic bucket of the Old Bay butter popcorn. The staff were very nice and fast. I would come back if I'm ever in Ocean City. FYI - They take credit cards.

Cute little spot on the boardwalk. Pickup Only. They had a bunch of flavors such as white cheddar caramel and cheddar. Had a coupon for $10 bucket. When we tried the popcorn it was good but tasted a bit stale. Workers were polite and quick with the line.

disappointed. not like it use to be. had more butter in old days and more dark golden caramel. our batch today on the boardwalk was very light caramel and chewy. improve batches and bring back old recipe. make Mr and Mrs Fisher would be proud.

Visited here on a vacation to Ocean City Maryland smell the popcorn walking bye decided to stop here and what a treat it was I ordered a bucket of cheddar popcorn it was perfectly seasoned and satisfied a huge craving. I will definitely be back when revisiting... Even at half the bucket for when I returned home and stayed fresh definitely would recommend

This is possibly the best popcorn I have ever eaten. I have been having it on vacation since the early 1980s. It's the best. I have not been to OC for about 10 years and it is just as good if not better than I remember. They have many sizes to choose from. From the small hand held taste to the giant bucket for travel or sharing. The caramel corn is to die for especially hot off the rack. If you are here, then you need to make a stop. You will not be disappointed

I was so excited to try this popcorn because of other reviews. I love popcorn and when I can try a new brand I'm all in. Fishers has been around for a minute but I just heard of them when I planned my getaway to Ocean City MD. There was more than one on the Boardwalk and both had long lines I would assume because of the popularity I can't make it my #1 because I've had other brands that did this caramel old bay mix justice. I need to try other flavors to make a better decision. One thing I did not like was the box did not allow for leftovers I didn't finish it all and the next day the popcorn was stale but it's ok I know next time to take a ziplock other than that it's a must try!

I've been coming to Fishers for 25 or so years. Their popcorn is second to none. I like the Carmel dusted with Old Bay best. The Carmel and peanuts is also very good. I think the plain butter could maybe use a touch more salt but I only even get that one if I have the kiddo. They ship. It's delicious especially when warm. A OC must

Popcorn heaven. Lots of options and you get to try before you buy :) We tried the caramel cheddar and it was very interesting--in a good way haha. (Keep in mind it's caramel and cheddar mixed into ONE flavor--not cheddar and caramel popcorns mixed)

stale popcorn I ordered in the middle of the afternoon today and was shocked! White cheddar - stale! Caramel Apple - stale! To the point of being cheeeewy! (And not in a good caramely way) It was my 1st time ever having it, doubt our family will return any time soon.

Great popcorn but the Old Bay Caramel was not my favorite. This popcorn is fresh and my family went through 2 buckets while visiting OC.

I LOVE this popcorn! I always buy a bucket thinking I would share with my family but I end up hoarding it and finishing it all by myself. When I get the bucket, i opt for two flavors, the caramel and the kettle corn. The CARAMEL is my favorite popcorn of all. I've had their cheese popcorn and sampled their old bay popcorn, but I always go back to the caramel. It's a great snack while strolling on the boardwalk and much "healthier" then funnel cake, thrasher fries, or junk.

A line for popcorn? Must be good! Got the caramel and white cheddar, did not disappoint! Don't let the long lines fool you, they move quick!!

I love the boardwalk but this is your place for popcorn. I ordered a medium caramel corn and my cousin ordered white cheddar. While there is many popcorn places on the boardwalk, this is your spot. It's perfect for any occasion. There are so many flavors of popcorn. It's technically popcorn heaven.

I almost didn't stop here because I was so ready to get on the road after sand soccer. However, there was no line and I just LOVE caramel popcorn. I am so happy I got a 1/2 gallon of it. It's packaged TIGHTLY in a bucket so you really get your money's worth. Also decided to add a box of the Salt Water taffy on a whim, it's decent, but definitely doesn't compare to the popcorn. I almost wish I'd gotten more popcorn because this was my first trip back to Ocean City in 21 years and I don't anticipate returning anytime soon (or at least not until next summer if my daughter does sand soccer again).

This stuff is addictive! I was surprised that they offer small sizes and the price is very affordable for such a delicious treat. The caramel corn is truly exquisite. We shared a small box and ate all of it within a couple hours. We are going back before we head home!

Fisher's Popcorn is a family-owned popcorn shop that has been around in OC since '37. Besides offering other seasonal and a variety of flavors (cinnamon caramel, butter-flavored, white cheddar, Old Bay, etc.), they're known for their caramel popcorn. Sizes are also of a great variety, so there's a perfect amount for anyone - 2 oz and 6 oz bags, quart cans, 0.5/1/1.52/3/3.5/6.5 gallon tubs and cans, sports cans and tubs, and even popcorn balls. I ordered a tub of the caramel and the cheddar popcorn mix, as I really enjoy the sweet and the savory combo. However, I was a little disappointed that the popcorn wasn't 'hot and fresh' as others have stated it being. The cheese popcorn was just okay and coated heavily with the cheese seasoning. The caramel popcorn, however, was pretty tasty, as it had a thin layer of the caramel exterior and was not overly sweet. The staff are pretty efficient, and while they really jam-pack the tubs with the popcorn, they do smush it down with the lid, which causes the popcorn to also get smushed within. Just note that their 'storage' popcorn area is around the corner, and the retail is located on the Boardwalk. They also take CCs! +caramel popcorn +not 'hot and fresh' T____T +variety of box/tin/tub sizes +efficient staff +takes CCs!

December 29, 2018 on the OC Boardwalk...temperature was about 60 degrees (unusual for December on the water) and breezy. A lot of the shops were closed but this popcorn shop was open. This was a plus in my book because they could have closed and left the public with no options. The location of the shop is good as to the fact that it is right off the parking lot entrance. I purchased a small Caramel-Cheddar mix and I must say that this blend was the best I have ever had. When I am in the OC again, I will be sure to stop by this little quaint shop for another delicious tub of popcorn. Oh, by the way, the popcorn is reasonably priced and the customer service is decent.

It's a boardwalk classic! Get the caramel corn with nuts. Not much to share on this place. Quick service, not too friendly staff but then again, kinda what you expect on the boardwalk. Definitely worth the stop.

I've been purchasing Fisher's Popcorn as long as I can remember. My family has been taking their summer vacations in Ocean City for more than 50 years and no trip was complete without Fisher's. Fresh, hot, caramel corn made in huge copper kettles dumped right in front of you and then scooped into your favorite tin or plastic container. Save $1 a container and bring your container back for a refill Flavors change seasonally. They support the military, and ship their delicious popcorn to any state/military base. Best popcorn in Ocean City, Dewy Beach or Rehoboth Beach. I buy a bunch to stock up on over the winter to remind myself the beach and great memories are never to far away.

There's only one choice in OC for popcorn?! Whether it's standard caramel, cheddar, kettle or old bay, it's all good. You'll be back for more.

Got the cheddar and caramel with peanuts mixed.. absolutely delicious. My friend got the caramel and kettle butter mixed.. she devoured it. Worth every penny

It's a good thing you can find good dentists near you on Yelp because Fisher's will devastate fillings and create cavities. Honestly, I think I need adult supervision when I go out to Ocean City because I will hit up a Dippin Dots, Love's Lemonade (for funnel cake), and Fisher's in succession. This results in me typically overhearing this conversation between a mom and son, "No, you can't have Fisher's b/c you just had ice cream." "But mommy, that big headed Chinese guy has a funnel cake, tub of popcorn and ice cream in his hands." And then I wink devilishly at the kid, like so ;-P Food - Do you like butter? Do you like sugar? Do you like popcorn? Then you need to stop by Fisher's on 2nd St on the Boardwalk. The only way this caramel popcorn could be any better is if they had a toy surprise inside. I usually get two buckets: 1 to eat on the boardwalk and 1 to eat on the 3 hour drive home. Once you have Fisher's, you can never go back to Cracker Jack and you will say, "Poppycock!" to Poppycock. Service - It's probably not a good thing that they employ all these teens to cook butter and sugar - I'm assuming Oxy Pads are standard issue along with their Fisher's shirt. They're usually friendly and I love them for filling my tub beyond capacity. Location - Located close to what I consider the Downtown area of the boardwalk. The popcorn is a bit pricey so it's good that they accept credit. So next time you head out to OC, make sure you stop by Fisher's and make an appointment with your dentist as soon as you get back.

My husband has been vacationing at Ocean City since he was a child and was so excited to take me to Fisher's Popcorn. I didn't see what the big deal was... it's just popcorn. Wow, oh wow! So this is what fresh caramel popcorn tastes like!!! The only caramel popcorn I had ate previously has been out of a cracker jack box or one of those Christmas popcorn tins. I can't believe I thought any of that stale stuff in the box was good. Fisher's popcorn is hot and fresh and addictive like crack. I couldn't stop inhaling the popcorn... how can popcorn be this good?!?!

Shovel, heap, cover, SLAM and tape - they got it down! Never get tired of their caramel popcorn - my fave in OC Always purchase a medium bucket during each beach visit Corn popped coated with gooey caramel is worth every penny Kettle crack is under $11 for my usual order I use the bucket to mold sand or hold ice when it's empty No surprise that this spot gets all these 5 star ratings Going, going, it's all gone... oink oink

The line is well worth the wait ! I am a HUGE FAN! This delicious popcorn stand sends Heavenly air all up and down the boardwalk. Served fresh and hot with several flavors and sizes from small cup to large bucket with lid to take home. My fave is caramel with peanuts and I do not like to share so go get your own! Can't wait till my next trip to OC for more!

Ok first, disclaimer: I grew up on this stuff, so this is the caramel popcorn to which all other's are judged by. Now that that's out of the way, I definitely recommend. Whether you are going Downey Ayshin for vacation, or just want some caramel popcorn via the web, this is the real deal. Sweet, slightly salty, perfect. Great as a snack & careful if you have a smaller bag... It might just disappear. Thanks Fisher's for great memories in OC & looking forward to the next tub o' Fisher's on the boards!

Worth the drive and the money! I've been coming here my whole life and wouldn't change a thing ! Love the taste! The prices are a little much but definitely worth it! They have been adding flavors for forever, there's got to be a flavor for you!

Have been a fan since I was just able to walk! Pictures of me in a 70's style bikini clambering through the sand with a box of Fisher's in hand. You cannot visit the beach without stopping here! This is the original!! MMM... Their boxes used to have a flap on the top so after you ate the top part since they overfill the popcorn box, you could try to close the box and not eat anymore. Kind of a nice idea, even though you would still manage to have one more bite...and then another...and then... Last summer they had new boxes without the flap! WTH? They ship too! I have had plenty of care packages from the parents from here on many an occasion. The best location?-why the seedy OC boardwalk location of course!!!!

I love Fishers but they really need to control their prices. It's out of hand along the boardwalk these days. If they continue to sell popcorn for upwards of 15$, they should include a free wheelbarrow to carry it home in then. Another problem is that you pay an extra 1-3 dollars for peanuts, how many peanuts you could count on two hands it seems. If you are charging for peanuts, include peanuts, it's not a difficult thing to understand. Even with my harsh criticism, nothing will happen and patrons will continue to wait in line for overpriced popcorn. (When not too many people are looking, you might even catch me there- this stuff if like crack)

Delicious! Can't come to oc and not get their popcorn!!! They build lines quickly probably from the smell but work hard getting customers in and out. Always gets the caramel delicious

I thought this popcorn was the perfect boardwalk snack. It was fresh, flavorful, reasonably priced, and the employees were friendly and efficient. If we return to the area, I will definitely be stopping by Fisher's for my popcorn fix. My very nice camera was stolen from a bench right next to Fisher's (including a memory car with all of my photos since my daughter was born), and when I tearfully asked the employees if anybody had happened to turn one in, they immediately searched the store and seemed genuinely concerned. We never found it, but I appreciated their response.
