Google
Quickly learned the General Stores are where you want to go in Yellowstone. This store has everything from small restaurant, groceries, produce, fresh meat and cheese, souvenirs, clothes, etc... One stop shop for anything and everything you need in Yellowstone.

Great place for a meal while visiting the park. Pick up some memorable trinkets for loved ones too.

Fun little stop while driving through Yellowstone Lower Loop. This general store is located along the Yellowstone Lake. This place has gifts, souvenirs, a small grocery, and a small food court that serves ice cream, hot dogs, nachos, and a variety of other items.

Great spot for a quick lunch on a rainy day. Only open till mid October . Vegetable soup was delicious. Grill cheese and frys, simple and good. Prices are park high. Convenient to the ranger station.

You’ve reached the holy grail of stops within this store. Thus place has it all! Anything you could possibly need is at this stop. They have a fully functional grocery store with all the necessities and some. They also have a good court and another goodies counter. The items you find in here are one of a kind. This stop was only 25 minutes into the park. You also have a mechanic shop at the gas station. Look through the pictures to see all if the items you’ll need for souvenirs to take home. The pricing on shirts started around $14.99 and the design and quality was great. A gift for anyone you could think of. We’re glad we made it here because they had everything we wanted and needed. Lots of parking available on the side. Everything camping related too.

On a four day ride on our motorcycles, one of our riders had an accident. He is ok. A stranger took him to the Fishing bridge General Cafe, we followed on our bikes. Our server was so kind and helpful. She even made us laugh in such a frustrating situation! Can not thank her enough!

The diner in the back is AWESOME. The burgers are great, the chicken sandwich is amazing and it has an cool old time feel to the layout. Highly recommend stopping in there for food.

Google
By far the worst bacon cheese burger I’ve ever had in my 47 years of living the bun was soggy and I had to choke the last half down. Way overpriced burger for food poisoning. My son got the grilled chicken strips and they were slimy and dry on the inside with no flavor. 1 CHICKEN STRIP FOR $10.99 and a pinch of fries. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE. We sat down and got ignored for 5 minutes and got ignored by a guy with long blonde hair that had a braid felt like it was an inmate release program.

Yelp
Food was good but service was bad... had to wait while people behind just were severed. When the waiter noticed that our food was not done he said something to back staff. They put is in back of the line again.

Yelp
Stopped by got a pulled pork sandwich, this was super yummy and hit the spot. Everyone I came with tried something different and we ate everything on our plate. Reasonably priced for being inside the park. There was only one man working and he has us sit in the middle placed looked like the 50s with the little stool seats. Very good glad we found it.

Yelp
What a keeper! This is a cool general store in the east side of Yellowstone. They've got a large operation here- with tons of souvenirs, gifts, camping provisions, fishing gear- they've generally got it all! They've got a refrigerated food area with somewhat relatively moderately priced cold food in the back- with salads and sandwiches, so you don't have to get gouged with some of these restaurants around here, elsewhere in the park. The souvenirs are all priced out of the park- incredibly expensive. You can get the same stuff in those towns outside of Yellowstone for a fraction of the price. I don't think anyone has a trademark on the term Yellowstone, so they can print it on anything you wish. Anyone in Wyoming can sell you a buffalo magnet. I'd only really shop here for bear spray, since you need it around here. It's non-refundable or returnable, since nobody wants defective bear spray. They have some locally made stuff with the local Indian tribes, but nothing priced in our price range. They have Wilcoxson's Ice Cream, and lots of Huckleberry flavored sweets. These prices are some fish tales- they're awfully big!

Yelp
Good place to get souvenirs. This is one of the buildings by the fishing bridge. It is easy to find and park by the building. There is plenty of parking around the store. They are doing COVID precautions by wearing masks and having entry and exit doors clearly marked. The store was very nice and they had a fair amount of stock but we were told that they would soon be closing for the season and their various stocks of souvenirs were smaller than other stores in the park like the one by Old Fathful. The staff was very friendly and professional and the prices were reasonable for a souvenir shop.

Yelp
We stopped at the Fishing Bridge General Store on a recent trip to Yellowstone. It is a great place to find souvenirs and the shop offers ice cream (check for fountain hours since they may be more limited, especially during covid). The staff were exceptionally friendly. We tried two ice cream flavors -- my can't miss flavor here is mountain berry. Portions are large (easily splittable!) and you can enjoy your treat at park benches or picnic tables outside the store. They did not have Huckleberry ice cream (available at the Old Faithful Inn), but flavors may change from day to day. Great stop if you need an ice cream fix after a long hike!

Yelp
It's the only store in town prices are high but they have a big selection of everything you need. Also a nice selection of souvenirs.. the general stores also have flush toilets which is a nice touch the ones here are outside down a short path also the view of the lake is spectacular

Yelp
I thought I bought all the souvenirs prior in Cody Wyoming. Apparently not. There were a few more things we just had to have. An yes there are some great deals. We also got our lunch (take out only) and a couple of groceries there.

Yelp
HAVE AGAIN: Wilcoxson's ice cream is really delicious. Buffalo Chip ice cream and Peanut Butter Chip ice cream were delicious.

Yelp
Great little spot to stop on your way out to Yellowstone for the day. We came here both days we were here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint either time. The first day I had the omelette and my husband had the pancakes. Both were cooked perfectly and came with hash-browns and your choice of a breakfast meat. It was the perfect way to start off the day. There is also an espresso bar in the shop as well where I got my coffee after breakfast. Again, it was great both times. The gift shop itself seems to be overpriced in comparison with shops in other parks and in the area. I understand the inconvenience it must be to bring these items into the park but $75 for a sweatshirt is absurd. You can find some average priced stuff if you look hard enough but I felt as if majority of it was overpriced even for being in the park.

Yelp
We had a decent and freshly made meal here at the soda fountain. The bison and elk burger was dry but we expected that given the leanness of the meat. the mushrooms and cheese on it were good. Slaw was yummy and kids grilled cheese was perfectly browned. chili cheese fries were on special that day and were fine - probably could have used more chili but were plentiful and tasty enough. A bit pricey, though, like everything in Yellowstone. Almost $50 for the bison burger, chili cheese fries, regular burger, kids grilled cheese, and 4 drinks.

Yelp
Nice store that have everything you need. They sell souvenirs , and they also have a small grocery area where you could buy milk, fruits and snacks. Their small restaurant sell burgers, sandwiches and salad which taste ok. Overall it's a nice store near fishing bridge.

Yelp
We tried several places in Yellowstone and this was the best. You have to wait for a seat(s) if the bars are busy but the food is worth the wait. The burger is excellent as well as the chili and grilled cheese. The general stores and their food is ran by a different company than the rest if the food dispensaries. And let me tell you that the difference is very noticable!

Yelp
My husband and I were there a week ago, on our way home from Cody, Wy. We were hungry and saw this cool little store. We thought we would get out of the car and stretch our legs and see if we could get a snack or something. We found a deli inside that offered breakfast so we thought we'd try it. We were offered coffee by a nice man and ordered breakfast. The breakfast was hot with large portions, I had a tasty omelet, my hub loved his pancakes, the coffee was hot and strong...perfect! We then looked around the store and bought a few gifts. Its a nice store that has everything you would need to make your trip more comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Yelp
The general store is great! Ice cream parlor, real espresso, diner with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is the same menu as the diner in Canyon Village but way less busy. Don't get a salad, they're prepackaged, all ice berg lettuce. The burger is ok, fries ok.

Kate R.

Yelp
This was one of our worst Yellowstone eating experiences. Our waiter was slow to acknowledge us, chili wasn't good, salad wasn't what was advertised on the menu (prepackaged, all iceberg lettuce), but kids burgers and fries were pretty standard and they liked them.

Ramirez C.

Yelp
A fun place to look around. Lots of items to browse through. Items over priced, but normal for touristy gift shops. Clean restrooms.

Yelp
A busy place, they decide to clean the bathrooms at 10 am?! I went to the nearest park restroom down the road and it also was closed for cleaning. It seems to me that as every other state park crew, they could rotate a group of employees as bathroom crew to clean the restrooms early a.m., before campers are waking up, not at the busiest time possible. To me that's rude to the guests of the park and only thinking of parks self interest instead of whose dollars pay for the park and its employees, but that's government for you! If you are without kids, I certainly would suggest arranging your vacation after school starts. It was almost too busy to enjoy properly. We were happy to scoot out of their in one day!
