We had the most wonderful evening at Fishmarket at the InterContinental Al Bateen, and it truly exceeded expectations from start to finish. The concept itself is fantastic. You select your seafood directly from their beautifully displayed open fish market, along with your choice of vegetables and cooking style. Everything looked incredibly fresh and vibrant. As a starter, we had lobster with a red curry sauce. It was divine. Tender, soft, and perfectly balanced with the richness of the sauce. For our main, we chose a stunning sea bass, butterfly grilled and marinated with Arabic spices. It was cooked to absolute perfection. The flesh was delicate, moist, and beautifully infused with flavour. We also selected our own vegetables for a stir fry, including zucchini, stem broccoli, sugar snaps, chillies and onions. They were cooked just right. Fresh, crisp and full of flavour. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Abdellah was exceptional. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. He took the time to explain everything clearly and guided us through the selection process with great care and professionalism. Service like that makes all the difference. The ambiance is another highlight. The outdoor setting is quiet, elegant and beautifully atmospheric. It feels intimate yet relaxed, perfect for a special evening. We paired everything with a lovely bottle of house rosé, which complemented the meal perfectly. An outstanding dining experience overall. We will absolutely be back.

Went for a walk and ended at Fish Market Restaurant. I was craving for a sea food that day so we decided to pass by in the restaurant. They have fresh sea foods and vegetable where you can choose and cook it in a way you want. The place outside is really good and very quiet. What an amazing lunch! Cravings satisfied! 💕🤤😋

Wonderful freshly fish and restaurants Buy your fish and get it cooked to eat in the restaurant. When you buy, they help you with the next steps of cooking it. It's usually 15 dhs per kilo for cooking. A table is only 25 dhs inside a restaurant !

Fishmarket brings back so many childhood memories and all the family lunches we used to enjoy there. I hadn’t been in years, but on my recent visit, I was so happy to see that the quality of the food hasn’t changed. I love the whole experience—from selecting your own fresh fish and vegetables to choosing the side dishes, all beautifully laid out. The outdoor seating is stunning, with a lovely view overlooking the sea. Service was excellent and the staff were warm and welcoming. Truly happy to be back!

Amazing seafood! 🐟 Everything was fresh and full of flavor 😋. The service was excellent – friendly and attentive. Chef Sawai was fantastic 👨‍🍳 – he personally came to talk to us and made us feel very welcome. The seaside view 🌊 made it even more special. Highly recommended if you’re looking for delicious food and a great atmosphere!
