Fit Hostel - Piratas da Praia

I spent 3 nights there and found the hostel to be clean, comfortable and in a safe area.||||It is located one block away from the beach. ||The staff were friendly and able to arrange a tour for me to Porto de Galinhas late on a Sunday evening. ||||All in all it ticked all the boxes. I would recommend the place to all.

Well located near to groceries and drugs stores, restaurants and the Boa Viagem beach, famous for its shark attacks. Awesome landscape. Easy access to downtown Recife Antigo e Olinda. |Wifi was terrible, barely worked. This is is why I didnt give 5 stars. Overall its an awesome place to stay

The hostel is located at a convenient place in Recife, close to many bus lines, bars, supermarkets (there is one right at the corner) and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The downside was the room that was quite small (there were about 12 people in a space divided in 3 smaller rooms, for just one bathroom). Apart from that is still an option if you stay for a few days and don't mind not having that much comfort.

This place wasn't the greatest for me. The beds was uncomfortable, the fans were very noisy. There is one bathroom inside the room (and 2 more outside of the room) for 14 people. The weird thing was that the bathroom inside the bedroom was didn't have hot water, we were told that in the 2 others there are hot water which wasn't always true. |The staff was really nice and helpful. The place itself is very nice, they have a nice kitchen, a music room, TV room, a lot of places to sit.

Very welcoming hostel with friendly staff. The decoration is so nice and warm you feel at home very fast. The bathrooms are great with hot showers. Good location very close to the beach. The dorms are confortable with lockers. The only negative point was there is no breakfast.

The location is great, supermarkets and coffee shops nearby. It also stays 1 block away from the shore. You won't find a better place for a better price. The staff is very helpful and give you really good advice on where to go and what to see on the city. The surroundings felt really safe as well. I recommend.

Great place to take a few days and get work done. Unfortunately, I got sick while I was there and had to spend more time, but I did have a very nice stay. They have a work area and desk that is perfect to get heavy work done, which I did need to do. The only downsides are the non-obvious entrance if you need to get in at night, and lack of Airport Transfer.

It's a cute, relaxing, fun place to be! My first time in a hostel and I enjoyed it so much! You can meet people from all over the world (we met a Swiss, a couple of French, a Mexican guy, a man from Spain, girls from Colombia and a lot of Brazilians of different cities) and discover more about their cultures. The staff is great, very attentive and pleasant people. They have WiFi, bedrooms with air conditioner, hot showers, equiped kitchen and very clean bathrooms. I haven't felt uncomfortable and knowing that they are recommended by hostel institutions and rating services (such as Trivago and Foursquare) was a relief. Oh, it's also very cheap to stay here and you can be a volunteer!

Hostel crowd is mostly domestic so you may struggle to find English speakers here. Hot water doesn't work in all bathrooms, and there are 3 bathrooms for about 25 beds. Service is friendly but if you are mobility impacted, this place will not be for you as it is on the third floor of a building without elevators. Breakfast is not included but there is a kitchen provided. I like that there is a water dispenser so you don't have to buy water.
