As wedding photographers, Fita Preta is one of our favorite locations. We were impressed by the main building and all the recovered spaces show excellent taste. Everything is visually beautiful, from the building to the vineyards, to the ceremony site. It is reminiscent of the Tuscan landscape. Quite spacious, therefore versatile for all types of weddings. There is a lot of sun exposure during the day but it is at the end of the afternoon that it shows its full potential. Be aware of the hottest time of the year! We are in the heart of Alentejo and temperatures rise immensely. There are plenty of options for ceremonies and alternative plans according to weather conditions. However, dinners in the main square, with the illuminated facade and string lights, are incredible. At the wedding we attended, there were even guided tours of the winery for guests, which is always a good plan to learn a little more about the wines and a way to entertain guests at the cocktail. We were extremely well received by all the staff at a very well-organized wedding. In short, a highly recommended place!
