We had a glorious week camping here. Coral, fish and turtles right next to the campground. Shoutout to the security guard, he checked the campground a couple of times while we were there and was friendly and helpful.

Not the greatest campground and definitiv overpriced, but we did not experience overflowing bins, dirty facilities or broken BBQ like some others. Just sometimes it really smelled of pee from the house with the toilets. The was some broken glass laying around and it's a shame that some campers are so disrespectful of the rules and don't even clean up the glass that they broke. Still, I think it's definitely worth staying overnight on the island

Basic camp ground for tents only. That said the kitchen, showers and facilities were actually quite good. We even found a reptilian friend in our explorations... Included a couple of photos of the island as well for reference to where you can explore.

We had a great time camping overnight in a 2-person tent. There is no hot water at the campsite. There is one flat public BBQ like in most Australian parks. It will cook food but boiling water or a coffee pot, then I would recommend you bring your own burner. NO Power point at the campground. We did discover there are power points at some of the tables at Foxy's Bar and Cafe. It was early September, it did rained breifly overnight, but the tent and ground were dry in the morning. There is a large shelter in case of wet weather. We hung our hammock here when it rained in the arvo.

The toilets and showers were horrendous Cold blasting showers that got all your clothes wet but somehow warm low pressure sink that barely reached your hands, it was dark and half the toilet, and shower cubicles didn’t shut, or lock. It smelt so gross I wanted to throw up. There were holes in the walls and the floor was constantly wet and covered in mud, it was also difficult to squeeze through the door to get to the toilet as one cubicle door opened to about 20cm. Another was also another unusable cubicle for its resistance to flush properly. These bathrooms emitted a gut reneging stench that plagued the surrounding 2m from the bathroom building itself. I would never have thought one building would completely ruin my stay but here we are.

It’s so affordable!!! We were able to stay for two nights in our tent. There’s a bbq by the bathrooms and the connivence store sells ice! 10/10 you must stay on the island and the camping makes it accessible to everyone!

Great island for snorkeling and hiking. All along the main beach is a nice reef. We saw turtles every time we went out. Saw a ray a shark and an octopus and multiple clown fish. Multiple great hikes around the island. The campground is nice. Clean bathrooms, nice tables and grill.

Overall the experience was marginal. A number of the toilets were broken or closed. Long lines for the front desk, the activities and the coffee. The rain and understaffing (probably) did not help to be fair, but there were several instances where a little bit more effort would have made a difference. Especially for the price level.
