Stopped in for a quick bite so we could hit the road with muffins or some type of pastry. My wife is a picky eater and could not find anything she wanted. I got a turnover type pastry that was OK but would have been better with a little more filling.

Cute and welcoming bakery with bonus items like cards, socks and soft drinks! Very friendly, great place to stop by and chat with the owner who is so nice. Delicious pastries and cookies, especially the s'mores cookie! Thank you from Montréal :)

Five Girls is the absolute best bakery on the South Shore. Every item I try is delicious! There are always new fresh baked, unique goodies to try.

I buy your sourdough bread at Fresh Cuts every week and it's the best still warm from the Bakery.

Update upon owner's response: You're a very petty and angry Karen. Maybe take accountability instead of being rude to anyone who has a poor experience. Work to solve the issue, not expand on it, child. These people are as malicious as they are bad at baking. My friend got stale bread and they flat out call him a liar. I was with him the whole time and tried it too. We did try calling, but there was no answer and by the time we noticed the item was stale, we were already past Bridgewater on the 103. This is very petty and nasty behaviour. Grow up and do better!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in this bakery after lunch because, well, it's a bakery! Lol. Staff were super nice and greeted us right away. I was just looking around when they introduced me to their Chai Cookies. I love Chai, so I had to get one. They were $2.30 each (taxes in) and quite large. They also introduced me to their soft baked pretzels, which looked really good and were also quite large ($3 each), but I decided to pass, maybe next time. I was looking at their chocolate chip cookies and I found it really cute that the girl said "I promise you that no one took a bite out of these, they are just broken like that." They did in fact look like someone took small nibbles around the edges, haha. I have a soft spot in my heart for bakeries that go ahead and sell imperfectly shaped or less aesthetically pleasing goods. This is probably because my own baking is not much to look at, but it is delicious - my own opinion, but also the opinion of others who have tasted my baking, lol. Anyway, they are relatively new, as they weren't there when we were last in Liverpool a few years ago. They sell sauces, pastas, water bottles, and other items in addition to baked goods. They also have sandwiches.

Yelp
I just love their sourdough bread. It's the best! I buy it often and eat it every morning with eggs, delish! The French Baguettes are amazing too. The problem with the baguette is that it just doesn't last. It's gone the very first night. We love it. LOL!

Yelp
I love getting lunch here. Their chicken sandwiches are the best, if you can get one before they sell out. They also let people call ahead and reserve sandwiches as well. Their brownies are awesome too when they have them. I wish they were always on the menu but they cycle things every so often. Their location is a good spot and prices are not too bad. They also have a bread card that you get stamped every time you buy a loaf of bread so you get a loaf free once it's filled

Yelp
Everything is so yummy here!! We get their sourdough bread regularly, as well as their baked goods and everything is delicious! We love that they bring in fresh produce from the valley - tomatoes, romain, peppers, etc. And the service is great, so friendly and helpful. Shop there and support your local businesses, peeps!!

Yelp
This place does itself no favours. Going there for coffee and pastry recently, they had only one kind of (plain) croissant and two kinds of muffins. And the coffee came from a serve-yourself machine. They're not on Tripadvisor and reviewing on google is a nightmare so they're a well-kept secret. They sell highly-rated coffee beans and first class muffins so they're a natural for a breakfast stop but it seems like that's not what they want to be. With a very pleasant location, window seating and all the necessary facilities surely they could make a killing. Up the road at the mall there are line-ups at Tim Hortons. Come on, Five Girls, you could pull in at least half of Tim's customers if you changed your focus.

Yelp
Was so excited for this place to open, but have been mostly Disappointed with it. The bagels are hard and dry. The coffee machine doesn't make actual coffee, but espresso and whatnot (and it isn't fresh). The consumables other than what they make are very expensive. It's nice that they decorate thoroughly for the seasons. The cinnamon rolls are very good. I also find the staff can be cold and somewhat demeaning.
