Love the environment here, quiet and peaceful. They serve a good grill steak, however, wish they could cook extra stuff like fries or add salads or soup to the menu. They are very flexible and can help you prepare a salad or fruits if you buy. Breakfast is simple but if you want cooked breakfast it’s additional FJD 30. One thing I didn’t like is no proper blanket or comforter. Only thin sheets.

This is a classic, old building with history and great views. Location is up on a hilltop giving a bit of a view. It’s older but well maintained and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The best place to stay in Suva. The rooms are very clean, the staff super friendly and helpful, the view is great and it's close to town

I travel a lot. And return to Fiji twice a year. I've stayed at 5 Princess many times in the past and will continue to do so. Bubu, Wati, and Mosese are simply the best and the owners ~ Tarei and Rod of course. I stayed here two weeks end of July 2024. I love the lush tropical garden, the rambling colonial house with hardwood floors. I could pick my own lemon grass for tea in the morning.

A very nice and cosy hotel, highly recommended for stays in Suva. Calm and safe with easy access to city center by taxi (5 min ride, around FJD5) or bus. We loved the gardens, the wooden floors, and the decoration. The rooms are spatious and the beds comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and kind. We highly recommend the restaurant for dinner. The meals (to be pre booked in the morning) are amazing.

Excellent, hospitable, second home. The staff were very diligent; catering to chaotic work hours with unsurpassed attention and care. I left this clean and cozy place with the feeling that I am leaving family. The rooms were spacious, and clean. The pool was well taken care of. The food was prepared with love by Bumbu. I never had anything that she prepared that was not worthy of a 5-star Michelin rated restaurant. Imagine your grandmother's cooking, but even better! The beautiful grounds are a well-landscaped piece of tranquil jungle in Suva. Highly recommended! Will definitely be back!

We are travelling occasionally to Suva since 20 years.|| This was our best stay forever. Though the hotel is near 2 busy streets in the compound it is nice and quiet. There are a handful of beautiful little houses in a tropical garden. The place is packed with tropical plants and it is all very clean. No old leaves, no mosquitoes and a nice little pool.||The houses are set up tastefully, very clean and equipped with a big fridge, microwave, sandwich maker, free wifi and Sky television. The beds have good mattresses, clean linen and the towels are the thickest we ever had in Fiji.||In front of the house is a little veranda where you can sit, watch the birds and have a drink or a cigarette.||The staff is very nice and helpful and the free breakfast and the dishes from the little menu are really good.||Finally after so many years we found a place in Suva where like to stay.

I stayed here for four weeks recently, almost the entire month of December. I was in Suva for a temporary work contract and needed a place in that location, and also having a fridge and microwave was an added benefit. I stayed in one of the bures (cottages). I absolutely loved it! It was cute, kinda upscale rustic, very comfortable, had a little side office nook with a desk, and there were windows on all four sides of the bure, so lots of daylight (except on the tropical cyclone weekend when the windows were boarded up). It was very nice to have a pool onsite, I swam whenever it wasn't raining. The staff at Five Princes were very helpful and kind (Mosese, Ecka, Cathy, and Esetha). And a special plug to Auntie Bo Bo in the restaurant. She is amazing! Every dish that came out of her kitchen was stupendous. Especially loved the grilled fish and the pasta. Thank you all! If I ever return to Suva, you can be sure I will stay at 5 Princes again.
