Nice hostel! The staff is friendly and welcoming. Everything is modern and clean and the location is great since it’s close to both the inner city and the train station. The common rooms are nice but a bit lacking in atmosphere. There’s no toilet on the ground floor which is a bit inconvenient. Would recommend!

The 8 bed dorms rooms are enormous, with a table and 4 stools. Lockers need a 1€ coin. There’s a large mirror and hatstands. Each bed has a powerpoint, a light and a small container for keys etc. privacy curtains in every bed. Kitchen is clean and extremely well equipped. Even better, the staff actually remove outdated food from the fridge so there is always room. Sells beer and has a small outdoor area as well Great hostel

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly kind, the room was spotless and very comfortable, and the location was ideal—close to the train, U-Bahn, and city center. Everything was perfect, making our trip truly enjoyable. Highly recommended! Greetings from Greece!

Lovely, modern, clean hostel. I stayed in the 8 bed female dorm. Bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, great location and staff was lovely. I would recommend you stay here.

The best hostel I have ever been. Superb location just near Germanisches Nationalmuseum. Perfect management and very clean rooms and toilet. It has big rooms with very comfort andclean beds. Would highly recommend if you travel to Nurenberg!

I would say this was a strong 4.5/5. I stayed in an 8 person all female room. There were lockers that had keys provided which was nice, and they even had that in their luggage storage room as well (very secure)! The shared bathrooms didn’t smell great, and the trash was usually overflowing, but the showers had free body/shampoo and even had an overhead rain shower. Multiple locations to eat food and sit and be comfy. Friendly staff. Good location. My biggest critique is that the pillows were the worst pillows I’ve ever had at a hostel. Which was surprising given how great everything else was.

Visited the city for a funeral this week, so had to book at short notice. There was a trade fair going on, so all hotels pretty well booked out. Chose this place with my son because of its proximity to the station, as we had a 06.05 train to catch on Thursday morning.||The room ( 41 ) had four single beds, one shower-room and a kitchenette, the latter not being needed. The room was basic, with cheap furniture and a utilitarian feel about it. The bathroom sink had no plug - we were told it didn’t need one - but the shower was good. Beds ok too and clean all round. Traffic noise deafening with the windows open, but sound proofing when closed was good.||With one morning’s breakfast we were charged over 800 Euros, a truly astonishing price for very basic accommodation. Breakfast was adequate in the hostel part of the “hotel”.||I notice that for next week, the prices are under 50% of the above figure, but you can still stay at The Grand nearby for less, which is something I would definitely recommend.||Left feeling as if I’d been mugged !

Yelp
The staff was friendly and I really liked that they had a communal kitchen. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The lockers in the room are only 1 euro and you get it back when you unlock it. My only complaint was that the hostel faces a busy street and it's right across from the U-bahn station. On hot summer nights, you face the choice of either roasting in your room or being woken up by every passing ambulance in the night.

Yelp
Good place! Location is quite gooda 10-minute walk from the train station and not far away from the center either. The building seems to have been recently renewed and refurbished, so the toilets/showers looked new, shiny and very clean. There are only 2 showers per floor (at least on the second one), and although I didn't have any problem, I guess you may want to be quick for the shower in the morning if you stay here in the high season. There's also a hair dryer. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm and the room was really big and comfortable (not the usual packed dorm with too many beds). There was a table with some stools and also big lockers (more than enough for a 50-liter backpack) with integrated keys (no need to bring or buy an extra lock, it has a coin opening system). Free Wi-Fi with good functioning. Staff was also nice and they are 24 h there.

Yelp
Five Reasons is an average backpacker hostel. But what we experienced in the night Wed. 17th to thursday 18th September 2015 was distressing. We had booked for two and were told that the hostel is accessible 24 hours. When we arrived by 1 a.m. in the night, the reception was fully lit, same the breakfast room - but we rang the bell - and rang - and rang - and no one shewed up. Nuremberg by 1 a.m. on an ordinary workday it's hard to find something else .... Myszka
