Five Seas Hotel Cannes

We had an excellent four-night stay at this hotel at the end of September. We had originally booked elsewhere and considered several other options, some of which charged guests to use the pool — we’re so glad we chose the Five Seas instead. I booked the stay as a birthday weekend for my husband, with our daughter joining us, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The rooms were spacious and included a complimentary mini bar stocked with non-alcoholic treats.The staff were incredibly thoughtful with our daughter, leaving a small cuddly toy in the room, along with a child-sized bathrobe and slippers. We also enjoyed complimentary access to the private sauna for 30 minutes each day. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, including freshly prepared eggs cooked to your liking, and the restaurant never felt crowded or rushed like at larger, canteen-style hotels. The rooftop heated pool was a highlight — we always had it to ourselves, and there were always sunbeds available, which made it feel peaceful and exclusive. Happy hour each afternoon was a great addition, and we loved relaxing at the rooftop bar after a day of exploring. The team also surprised my husband with thoughtful birthday gestures, including a couple of glasses of champagne. Any minor issues we encountered were handled promptly and with genuine care. Overall, the service, attention to detail, and atmosphere made our stay truly memorable. We would highly recommend the Five Seas Hotel.

Our stay at the Five Seas Hotel in Cannes was absolutely exceptional. The concierge went above and beyond - securing a wonderful babysitter for my son (and even allowing the charge to be added to our room) as well as a nearly impossible reservation at La Guérite. Every morning, we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on the outdoor patio, and the thoughtful touches for my son, like little slippers and a stuffed toy, made it feel so special. As a Marriott Ambassador member, I’ve never left a public review before, but this experience truly deserves recognition. The staff and concierge team made our girls’ trip unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return next summer.

Alas, I cannot recall the names of the lovely staff members who helped us so very much at this hotel. |Afternoon front desk staff, a blonde and kind woman, took meticulous notes detailing what we would need heading into the weekend. She emailed all these directives to the entire staff of the hotel, all of whom were responsive and dedicated throughout. None seemed impatient with the details or the amount of help we needed. |The friendly French gentleman at the pool was also exceptionally helpful. He provided all present with tips on how to maximize their individual night plans. |The hotel is super clean and fresh. The AC works really well, this is a rarity in France. The spa was lovely. The pool, while reportedly not popular, was really nice. Not crowded but not empty either. |The drawback of this hotel is its location. It’s right off the Cannes beach but is not a waterfront property. There are no views, the building is blocked by a tall church. |The hotel has a beach club it partners with, but the staff at the beach club was SO nasty that after claiming my chair I decided not to go!! It was a tremendous contrast to the courtesy and kindness of the hotel staff.

We booked the Secret Suite and had a fantastic stay. The room was great, clean, spacious and comfy and its own terrace was lovely to relax and watch the sunset. The restaurant was fantastic for both evening meal, lunch and breakfast. We had a treatment each at the spa which was amazing. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend!

Our stay at Five Seas was one of the highlights of our French Rivera trip. The hotel has a boutique feel. Staff, from reception, to valet/luggage handlers, to rooftop staff were amazing and welcoming. The rooftop pool is phenomenal, great for a cool off dip, with views of the ocean & Notre Dame (we also loved the DJ in the evening for some good vibes…). Location is ideal, between the main beach & bustling restaurants, bars and shops.

3 day stay while on a business trip. Nice hotel, with very warm and welcoming public spaces, beautiful rooms. Very nice breakfast. And the staff, literally all the staff, are so friendly that you feel at home after just one day. The hotel is also very conveniently located, minutes walk from the Palais du festival where my conference was.

Our room was incredibly spacious, a rare find in Cannes, and beautifully designed for comfort.||We also booked a massage at the spa during our stay, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had—highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this while you’re here. Another fun touch was the hotel’s golf cart service that brought us directly to the beach, making it so easy to pop down to the water without any hassle.||Traveling with a toddler can be tricky, but the team at 5 Seas went above and beyond, providing a toddler bed and the sweetest pair of toddler slippers for our daughter, which made her feel so included in the experience.||The standout, however, was the concierge team—truly the best we have encountered in all our travels. They not only handled every detail during our time in Cannes but even helped us plan and coordinate the next leg of our trip to Paris with care and precision.||If you’re visiting Cannes, we can’t recommend the 5 Seas Hotel enough for a stay that is both luxurious and welcoming, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family.

Even at a time when reservations were nearly impossible to get, they still managed to organize some lovely last-minute bookings for us — we were so impressed. Boutique hotel perfectly located in Cannes, on a small street close to rue Antibes, situated between the old town to the west and new town to the east. Excellent service. Stayed at the presidential suite on the 4th floor, spacious accommodations. Not sure if the perk for the room or Covid, but the minibar was complementary and endlessly replenished the entire week. Breakfast on the room top standard continental fare and dishes made to order, great view. Pool is just for soaking, about a meter deep, not for swimming, also quite small. But again, people don't come to Cannes for the pool. Beach clubs are very close by and concierge will reserve prime spots for you. The Roof bar is rocking all night, if you are silent, despite the sound dampening you can detect the subwoofers vibration in your suite, so light sleepers beware, or go upstairs and join the party. Probably the nicest hotel to the convention center, so definitely a hidden gem if attending the CFF. Looking forward to returning soon, 10/10.

love the fun and cool ambiance - the music, the drink offerings,.. and the service - 5 stars!! and there's Max - just FUNtastique!! phenomenal,..rooftop bar with pool and jacuzzi.

This a fantastic hotel! Beautiful room design with lots of amenities. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the restaurant is top notch and creative, but the star of the hotel is the roof top terrace. Belongs among the best valued boutique hotels in Canne.
