Five Seas Hotel Cannes

Alas, I cannot recall the names of the lovely staff members who helped us so very much at this hotel. |Afternoon front desk staff, a blonde and kind woman, took meticulous notes detailing what we would need heading into the weekend. She emailed all these directives to the entire staff of the hotel, all of whom were responsive and dedicated throughout. None seemed impatient with the details or the amount of help we needed. |The friendly French gentleman at the pool was also exceptionally helpful. He provided all present with tips on how to maximize their individual night plans. |The hotel is super clean and fresh. The AC works really well, this is a rarity in France. The spa was lovely. The pool, while reportedly not popular, was really nice. Not crowded but not empty either. |The drawback of this hotel is its location. It’s right off the Cannes beach but is not a waterfront property. There are no views, the building is blocked by a tall church. |The hotel has a beach club it partners with, but the staff at the beach club was SO nasty that after claiming my chair I decided not to go!! It was a tremendous contrast to the courtesy and kindness of the hotel staff.

Our stay at Five Seas was one of the highlights of our French Rivera trip. The hotel has a boutique feel. Staff, from reception, to valet/luggage handlers, to rooftop staff were amazing and welcoming. The rooftop pool is phenomenal, great for a cool off dip, with views of the ocean & Notre Dame (we also loved the DJ in the evening for some good vibes…). Location is ideal, between the main beach & bustling restaurants, bars and shops.

We booked the Secret Suite and had a fantastic stay. The room was great, clean, spacious and comfy and its own terrace was lovely to relax and watch the sunset. The restaurant was fantastic for both evening meal, lunch and breakfast. We had a treatment each at the spa which was amazing. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend!

Good location: Average level of service. While it is listed on Marriott’s website, it is not a Marriott Hotel: Most Marriott benefits such as early check-in or late check-out are not provided. Wham asked about such options, staff is providing impolite answers. Rooftop bar is mediocre. Service levels are disappointing.

Since 14(!) years, we spend our vacation at the beautiful Boutique Hotel Five Seas, are there more to say? We are very proud to be a resident in this wonderful hotel. The Service, the Staff all of them are extremely friendly and we love to come back each year. It’s like our „second home“.

We absolutely loved our stay at the 5 Seas Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless and warm, setting the tone for a truly relaxing visit. Our room was incredibly spacious, a rare find in Cannes, and beautifully designed for comfort.||We also booked a massage at the spa during our stay, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had—highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this while you’re here. Another fun touch was the hotel’s golf cart service that brought us directly to the beach, making it so easy to pop down to the water without any hassle.||Traveling with a toddler can be tricky, but the team at 5 Seas went above and beyond, providing a toddler bed and the sweetest pair of toddler slippers for our daughter, which made her feel so included in the experience.||The standout, however, was the concierge team—truly the best we have encountered in all our travels. They not only handled every detail during our time in Cannes but even helped us plan and coordinate the next leg of our trip to Paris with care and precision.||If you’re visiting Cannes, we can’t recommend the 5 Seas Hotel enough for a stay that is both luxurious and welcoming, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Five Seas! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The team was incredibly attentive, always helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Even at a time when reservations were nearly impossible to get, they still managed to organize some lovely last-minute bookings for us — we were so impressed. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Five Seas team, we would love to come back anytime!

We were looking forward to our first stay in Cannes and chose this hotel for its high reputation. Due to a professional commitment, we requested to shift our booking by one day – this was refused, even though the hotel was not fully booked and staff confirmed on-site that an extension would have been possible. For a property of this category, the strict reference to cancellation policies feels inflexible and not guest-oriented. Our stay ended up being much shorter and did not meet our expectations. PS: The refusal to shift the booking, of course, also meant we had to fully pay for the unused night.

Boutique hotel perfectly located in Cannes, on a small street close to rue Antibes, situated between the old town to the west and new town to the east. Excellent service. Stayed at the presidential suite on the 4th floor, spacious accommodations. Not sure if the perk for the room or Covid, but the minibar was complementary and endlessly replenished the entire week. Breakfast on the room top standard continental fare and dishes made to order, great view. Pool is just for soaking, about a meter deep, not for swimming, also quite small. But again, people don't come to Cannes for the pool. Beach clubs are very close by and concierge will reserve prime spots for you. The Roof bar is rocking all night, if you are silent, despite the sound dampening you can detect the subwoofers vibration in your suite, so light sleepers beware, or go upstairs and join the party. Probably the nicest hotel to the convention center, so definitely a hidden gem if attending the CFF. Looking forward to returning soon, 10/10.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Cannes center. Design, amenities and great service everywhere make it a great option off-croisette.

This a fantastic hotel! Beautiful room design with lots of amenities. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the restaurant is top notch and creative, but the star of the hotel is the roof top terrace. Belongs among the best valued boutique hotels in Canne.
