Great store! I love that you can go in and see all the backpack colours and try things on before making a purchase. I accidentally bought the wrong colour online and Fjallraven made it super easy to return to this Chicago location and then purchase the right one (and something extra)! I got the original Kanken in Ochre and the Hip Pack in Frost Green. The worker at the store was incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful, wish I remembered her name! Would recommend and will be going back!

Such a friendly and helpful team at the Fjallraven store on Damen! I was searching for a particular item that was out of stock on the website, and Mars went out of his way to find it for me. It was out of stock in the entire system but he remembered a random return that happened to be exactly the right item and color. He was so courteous and clearly just wanted to help make my Snack Pack bike bag dreams come true - which he did! This was my first experience with the store but I will definitely be back! Plus the products are great. High recommend!

Pretty good, exactly what you would expect. I knocked a star off because I ordered something and had it delivered to the store. They had it for over a week without telling me. When I finally called to ask about it, all I got was sort of an "aw shucks." Stuff happens, no big deal. I'd still use them again if it was the most convenient option.

The associate that helped me pick my jacket was really helpful and informed on the attributes of the jacket down to the micron rating for waterproofness. When they did not have the color I wanted they promptly placed an order for me to arrive at my home in about 5-7 business days. It was great to try on the jacket, if I hadn't I absolutely would have ended up in the wrong size.

Great experience shopping here! The store itself was really clean and organized. Got what I needed with the help of Tati! She was so friendly and helpful—definitely went above and beyond for me. Will be visiting again soon!

Ashley was very helpful. Fiancée and I made an in-store purchase as well as an online order that we shipped to the store. Ashley checked the inventory for us when we could not find what we were looking for in the store and allowed us to take a look at the bag and try it on to make sure it fit well. This location has earned two lifetime customers!

I'm always impressed of how they can hire great people ., everibody is always on a great mood and with the will of help ,clear doubts and help you to really walk away with the best choice . There is no doubt about the quality ,the standard is really hight . Walked in for info about a backpack....walked out with a new shirt and a new pair of pants 😂

How did I end up going into a store for my boyfriend's benefit only to walk out being the only one who spent something... how I ask you. How. Fjallraven wasn't something I knew a whole lot of. I just know that girls back at my school had these cute little backpacks with handles on it and I wondered where they got it from. Turns out there's a store for all that cuteness, but not only do they have bags, they also have clothing and that was the moment my mind was blown. Service here was very friendly. I didn't get the sales associate's name, but he gave us an explanation of each of the backpack they had here and his own stories which helped me narrow down the type of backpack I wanted. The hardest part was probably choosing the color. (Ended up with burgundy btw). The lifetime warranty also may have a hand in helping me buy a backpack. Overall - yes.

This is a great neighborhood shop where they really know their outdoor clothing store. They really know their stuff here and take the time to explain what's what. The Fjallraven brand is nice because it is just real and solid clothing that will be with you for a long time which is nice when you are buying quality goods versus disposable or fragile synthetic goods.

Me and my wife love fjallraven and think it's a great brand,but what we didn't like was the fact that we were both treated horribly because we are Latinos, as a service member I tend to tolerate such behavior because of how good my brothers in arms destroy all these stereotypical nonsense as we defend our nation. But the service me and my wife received was terrible here at this location, I had never thought that I'd had to worry about someone always following me and my wife around a store, eyeballing us even after we were very polite and Tried to make as much friendly gestures to overcome such bigotry but sadly in this case the customer service was not it at all. The store is amazing the workers for the store not at all and I'm forced to now buy my products online because me and my wife don't deserve to be treated or stalked around a store just because the color of our skin.

With outerwear products, it really takes a lot for me to go out of my comfort zone and purchase something from a brand that I didn't grow up with. I stumbled upon Fjällräven on one of my mindless walks down Damen ave and I instantly recognized the logo, I've seen it countless times on the train or what not - just never knew the name of the company. I felt at home here because I have met the folks that run this spot in other reliable retail stores in the area and they really have a passion for quality goods. Each individual I spoke with was thoroughly educated and sincerely thrilled with the company. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, aside from general info on the brand and I actually ended up purchasing a pair of their Keb Trousers. Made from their own G-1000 fabric, they pants are super durable, breathable and water proof. Pretty stoked on this brand and the employee's willingness to educate me on the Fjällräven culture. Thanks guys!

Dropped off my coat to have minor repairs done on it. The logo was coming off and was having zipper problems. The coat was purchased last season. They took the coat and said it has lifetime warranty. Called week later and coat is still sitting at shop. Was told they were busy and will try to get it to tailor. Three weeks without my coat for a patch sewn back on and a zipper look at. Todd Arndt

I love every second I was there today! They check your temperature and make sure you're wearing a mask. It's very clean and I had a great experience shopping there today. Both women were understanding and help a lot with my purchase! I highly recommend this place and will return for future products

Every time I've been in this store, I've had awesome service. The people who work here are friendly and care about the customers and are knowledgeable about the products. I've been impressed here more than at any other retail outdoor company. Additionally, I recently purchased the wrong size parka, and needed to exchange it after the tags had been removed. I was really worried that they would say "too bad" and I would be stuck with the wrong size, but when I got there it was exchanged with a smile and no problems at all. Not sure if they can do that in every circumstance of course, but in this instance it was extremely meaningful to me. They've definitely made a customer for life - my girlfriend has bought one of their jackets too, and I've picked up a backpack. Really glad to have found this place.

Came in for a cute little kanken backpack and left with 2 new friends. Adam the sales associate was very friendly and helped me correctly pronounce fjall Raven. ( I highly recommend stopping in just for that cause no one really knows how to say it. Am I right?!) The store manager Jason had an incredibly sexy voice that had me questioning what other small talk I could make with him just to hang around a little longer. If you need to cheer up a bit and look at some cool European-styled expensive shit- take a stroll in here. Guaranteed to leave with a smile.

Very nice people and LOVE the brand and their true lifetime warranty (unlike North Face or Canada Goose). The only downfall is, even though they don't get commission..I'm sure there's a quota for the store--bc they still push/pressure for you to get whatever it is you're trying on. Esp this one girl there, who's name slips me.

The products sold here are what you'd expect, and are high quality. However, what stands out about this location is the friendly staff & excellent customer service (namely Lucas and Adam). The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming, and the staff are always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. I would rather shop here in person than online just because of how good the in-store experience is!

I came in here not long ago and bought a back pack for $100 Included was lifetime warranty It was on clearance and the thing acts as my suitcase. So glad I randomly walked in here... Staff was awesome

I couldn't be happier with my experience here. One of the salesmen (Lucas) helped me find a wonderful winter jacket in minutes and described the necessary steps I would need to keep it in tip-top shape. Everyone was nice and professional, there was no pressure to buy something I didn't want or need, and the store itself is comfy and well designed. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

Went here for the first time recently - staff were super helpful and I got a sweater and pants that I'm really happy with. That said, it was definitely on the pricey side. Overall will go back as I'm very happy with the items I purchased and they appear to be of high quality to date.

Small little shop that packs some of the best jackets, pants, beanies etc. that money can buy, we love our gear, worth every penny and the staff were all very helpful, everyone was extremely nice and they helped me locate everything I wanted even if it was at a different store.

What a fantastic store! I am so happy we can find them as nearby as Chicago (we came from Milwaukee). It was wonderful to be able to touch and see all of the items that before we only saw in a catalog. My daughter, a high school senior, got a Kanken and. Kanken mini and my husband ALMOST bought a sweater before deciding to wait until it isn't 90 degrees. The guys working at the store were really helpful and patient with my daughter and told my son he could have as many free buttons and stickers as he wanted (3). We all left happy! Isn't that what you want from a shopping experience?

I've been waiting for this store to open! Their products are great and this is their first Midwest store. I went in this week to buy a new winter coat. Full disclosure, I knew I would be buying a coat and didn't need to be 'sold'. Both employees working were great from the start, helpful but not pushy. They asked how I knew about the store and we also had a good conversation about the neighborhood. They were genuinely excited to be in Chicago and to meet more customers. I walked out feeling very good about having spent my money there. More shops should be like this, the employees made the experience.
