Flagler Steakhouse

This is a must place to eat. We loved the atmosphere and the service from Kyle was fantastic. We started off with the table bread and some French onion soup and a delicious wedge. The bone in filet was juicy and tender and tasted amazing. The chicken was also delicious. Corn off the cob is also something to get. The desserts were delicious as well. The chocolate layer cake was my favorite, the key lime pie was a close second and who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies and a glass of cold milk. There is something for everyone here. I almost forgot about the best lemon drop martini I’ve ever had (no joke) and I’ve had them from all over.

What can I say, Flagler Steakhouse is about as good as it gets. The restaurant is stunning, the service at the bar tonight was fantastic, and the burger was maybe the best one I've ever had. This establishment is owned by the Breakers hotel, and I've never had a bad meal at any restaurant associated with the Breakers. If you're looking for a place in the Palm Beach area that serves up special dining experiences, I couldn't recommend Flagler Steakhouse highly enough!

I gave it four stars because I was disappointed that the restaurant was not inside the main hotel but rather on the golf course. Clearly everyone loves the service and the food but I’m not sure I would say that the value is enough for a five star review. A party of three, one of us ordered chicken For about $55 one ordered a steak for 110 and mine was about $90. With no wine or other drinks other than a coffee and two teas we were at $400 after the mandatory service charge and tax.

Sure enough, the beef is excellent quality, but the crust is just char and under seasoned. The bone-in rib chop, while impressive is unwieldy without a second plate for the comically large bone. Best bite was the cap, while the eye was just good. Calabrian chili butter has a nice kick, but could stand to have some nduja for more umami and flavor. Great atmosphere in the room and service, so many small fine details addressed each minute by the very professional waitstaff.

From reservations , to valet parking , reception, our table set-up , ambiance , the food and our server mr. David , it was all fantastic . Driving almost 2 hours from home , I should say that it is worth the trip . Highly recommended 👍🏻

Flagler is a beautiful and cozy restaurant with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff is always attentive and professional, making each visit a pleasure. They offer an impressive wine selection that perfectly complements their extraordinary food. I’ve dined here several times, and the quality and excellence have remained consistent every single time. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a perfectly cooked steak, this is the spot — no doubt about it. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Went for my sister’s birthday with a group of 9 people. We made reservations in advance and were seated immediately once we arrived. Our server did an excellent job of taking care of us, making recommendations, and engaging in small conversations. She made us feel like the only table in the whole restaurant. The food amazing, I ordered the Petite filet mignon with mashed potatoes. The flavor in the steak was very delicious! Hands down the best steak I’ve had! At the end of the meal our sever gave my sister a slice of key lime pie for her birthday.

We went for a birthday celebration. We had a lovely experience sitting out on the deck. It was April in South Florida, so the heat could have made it uncomfortable but they had the fans going and in the shade, so the temperature was comfortable. The ambience is great also facing the golf course. Inside it looked a little dark and crowded, but our experience was great on the deck. The food was amazing. My steak at first was overcooked and then undercooked, but the staff were so accommodating that I didn't feel awkward pointing that out to them and they comped my meal without even telling me they were going to do so or me having to ask.

Ok, we were very excited to try to Flager for a special birthday celebration! The food was good, but not worth the price. I want to make it clear that I'm not complaining about the price, I'm complaining about the quality and taste of the food FOR the price. The blue crab dumplings were good, but wasn't like an omg wow! The buratta was fine, not the best I've had, tasted like something you would pay 15 dollars for at your local fav restaurant. The presentation of the dry aged bone in New York strip was extremely disappointing, it was weak, nothing to pay $125 for. A white plate with a small piece of meat since it was shared and two potatoes, not worth it. The quality of the steak was good, but you could pay a bit less to go somewhere else and have the exact same steak. Honestly the standout was the Chilean sea bass, it was melt in your mouth amazing, truly delicious! This restaurant really was below our expectations, the price is not worth it, go to Morton's and it will be a bit cheaper and be the same if not better! Wouldn't come back

Had dinner here recently and it was awesome. We failed to make reservations and were initially seated at the bar. Thankfully, by the time our drinks arrived a table became available on the patio. We were happy to be seated out there as the golf course views coupled with the sunset added to the ambiance. Our server came over quickly and introduced herself and offered some great suggestions from the menu. We ended up ordering lobster/crab bisque, crab dumplings for appetizers and the filet mignon and sea bass with the lobster tail add on and a side order of Mac n cheese for our main course. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. My favorites were the dumplings, the filet done med-rare, the succulent lobster tail, and the Mac n cheese. After that amazing dinner, we shared an apple pie with cappuccinos. We were impressed with the home made apple pie and ended up taking home some leftovers as it's big enough to serve 3-4 people. Overall, we had an amazing experience due to the tasty food and impeccable service and I can't wait to return.

Everything from the Caesar salad to the steak to the key lime pie was absolutely perfect. Great service as well!

I went here with a tour group. This is a fancy restaurant that is nicely decorated and furnished. Since I was with a group, we were given a limited choice rather than being able to order off the menu. I had filet mignon. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet was cooked as ordered. The meal was great. For desert, I had key lime pie. It was also excellent. The service was excellent. This was a great place for special occasions.

Originally had plans to visit HMF for dinner/drinks but ended up at Flagler Steakhouse and I'm glad I did. The lobby and dining room were beautifully decorated for the holidays. My waitress Iris was amazing: she was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure to check on me often. I ordered the palm cosmo, grilled salmon, vegetable risotto and macaroni & cheese. My drink was yummy & strong. The entree portions were large and the food was flavorful & well prepared. The restaurant manager Julian came by my table to make sure I was enjoying my dinner and that is always such a nice touch. South Florida born and raised, I can't believe I've waited so long to visit this Palm Beach gem!

Classic, old school steakhouse and one of the best restaurants in the Palm Beach area. With that being said, prices here are NOT justified (wayyyyy overpriced). I ordered the petite filet mignon (6 oz for $75!!!) with mashed potatoes, blue crab dumplings, grilled artichoke hearts, corn off the cob, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. The filet was seasoned and cooked to perfection, juicy, and tender. The inside was cooked evenly throughout and the outside had a beautiful char on it; the best cooked steak I've had in a long time. The blue crab dumplings, mashed potatoes, corn, and grilled artichoke hearts were all flavored nicely, and could easily all stand alone as dishes. The chocolate chip cookies were just ok- too dense and too flat, just underwhelming. The inside of the restaurant definitely missed the mark. VERY dark and dreary, old decor, ugly red and white awnings (reminiscent of Pizza Hut), and leaves something to be longed for. Service was friendly and really had no complaints. Enjoyed my night, but a bit of sticker shock when the bill arrived (even if it is a Breakers restaurant).

Sublime ! This was our 3rd time at the Flagler and each time the experiance was sublime. The stupendous atmosphere on the upstairs verands and setting sun was only eclipsed by the food, wine and service. We srarted with jumbo stone crab claw, lobster corn chowder and Barnstable oysters. Then we shared the most delightful blue cheese wedge which was unlike any wedge salad I have ever had. So light, refreshing yet redolent with unctuous Point Rayes Blu. Our mains were of course, prime steaks, I as usual, had the bone in Prime New York Steak with Marsala Mushroom Crust. For dessert, our server David, who was impeccable, suggested the Key Lime Pie created using the125 year old original Breakers recipe. Can't wait to go back. XOXO

Mid. I mean extremely average. Interior is basically an upscale TGI Fridays. It's really bland with striped curtains and striped wall paper. French onion soup was very sweet, like Vidalia onion sort of base. Enjoyed it and would recommend despite sweetness. Had a few half salads. Kale got better remarks than the Caesar. Had a filet and NY strip, both with loaded baked potatoes. Found the strip to be very chewy. Was over seasoned with something. Was also very small. Guessing like 10oz or less. Potato was sort of the star of the show and came with a pile of toppings. Ate light and skipped dessert so we could enjoy that elsewhere. There's no escaping the prices, but this is wholly not worth it. Service was very attentive. Lots of people helping, all very professional and still friendly

Warn Caesar salad, frozen seafood and Tommy hawk steak had zero flavor, came out sliced so was only warm when brought out. Ordered Med rare and came out rare. So basically bland cold meat.

What a beautiful place to spend Easter with your family! The food was fantastic! The service was excellent! The views of the Breakers Golf Course is phenomenal! I started at the bar with a beautiful Sun Kissed Martini! Then we sat down for a beautiful dinner of steak! I started with a fabulous shrimp cocktail and finished with a perfectly done Rib-eye! Will go back!!!

Whenever i am in Florida, this seems to be one of our go to places, where my mother takes my family. it is a great sense of occasion. We ate in the private dining room (we were a party of about 14) which was excellent for what we needed. The waiting staff seemed to be quite experienced in working with groups like this. They efficiently took our orders for food and drink. I was mindblown at how they provided everything for us in a timely fashion. They also did it with flair and personality! I had the grilled eggplant to start (excellent), the salmon steak (perhaps the best ever and ive had a lot), and key lime pie for dessert (always a go-to for me). This is one of my favorites whenever i am in my hometown!! I recommend this wholeheartedly.

Delicious martinis, steaks, beautiful ambiance, and kind staff. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It's one of our favorites.

If you desire old school, sit down, country club steakhouse, then this is the place for you. Authentic nautical ambiance, personalized service and a massive wine selection. I received the dry aged strip, with my wife getting the filet. All in all a lovely dinner, nothing too surprising.

Absolutely amazing staff from the time you pull up to the valet. Our reservation was for inside but since the weather was nice outside the hostess found us a perfect spot on the patio. Christin and his work wife Carla are an incredible team. I had to pace myself on the fluffiest bread I've encountered and besides the butter it went well with the blue crab dumpling sauce as Carla suggested. We were stuffed from the tomahawk but since it was our anniversary Cristin convinced us to try the Chocolate cake. Can't wait to get home for leftover dessert!

We went there to celebrate the wife's birthday over lunch and we both had the NY strip steak. Agreed that it was one of the best steaks we have ever had. Simply amazing. View from seating outside was very nice and scenic. Service was also excellent. Not the cheapest lunch by far (by very far) but for a once a year event and especially a special event it was just fine. Afterward we went over to the Breakers Hotel for a stroll around the scenic and historical grounds. We will be back to the Flagler Steakhouse, for sure.

Impeccable meal! Service is first class, the filet was perfect temperature. The crab dumpling appetizer was delicious. The views from the back deck of the golf course was beautiful.

Everything was really good! If you are really hungry then order the steak! I loved the salad and would definitely order this again. Great service and great food!

Well it's all you would want in a great meal and great service. We were a group of 16 and couldn't believe the quality of the food and the service. The staff communicate very well and are on top of everything. Even with the hard core vegetarian and vegan people with us. Loads of different varieties and plenty of sides. The steaks absolutely mouth watering and tasty. It is a very above clean and special place. Everyone we encountered here made our visit incredibly fun. We will surely be hitting this place over and over again.

I had booked outdoor seating and this was indicated on my reservation. The host attempted to seat us inside. I mentioned we had an outside table as we had for the last 20 years. They mentioned the had a mix up and they would need to discuss with the manager. They left us standing in the middle of the restaurant and when they finally came back they said they could seat us outside but around the corner on the deck. They also were so thoughtful for their mix up that they mentioned several times they needed us to be gone by 8:30 as another party was coming. So they gave our table away and mixed up our reservation and had the nerve to rush us through dinner because of their mistake. P.S. the manager never came over to apologize or make sure everything was ok. Just not the experience we've come to expect here and I question the leadership and management of their current operations. FYI I had a friend with the same 6:30 reservation and they did the same thing to him.

It's a good steakhouse, it gives great value for its money. Overall I recommend the New York Strip and the sweet potato.

We absolutely loved Flagler Steakhouse. The service and the food were exceptional. I don't have a bad thing to say. I would highly recommend the filet and chocolate cake. They are must-order items.

This was by far the best dining experience my husband and I have had since moving to south Florida. The service was EXCELLENT! The food was outstanding! The vibe was lively with music playing. It is on the pricey side but well worth it! We had the stone crab appetizer and oysters on the half shell to start. Hubs had the Ribeye with a baked potato and I had the NY strip with sautéed spinach. À la carte we had the Mac & cheese gratin and the corn off the cob. Delicious! For dessert, key lime pie and tres leches. We will be back without a doubt

Great place for dinner. Excellent wine list to find something to pair with your steak. The sliced filet mignonette with mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious. The chocolate cake was huge and tasty. A must have. Valet parking is available. The service is top notch and what you would come to expect for Palm Beach. The Breakers own this restaurant so a lot of its guests come over to this restaurant. You also see a lot of locals which is nice. They will be the well dressed customers, whereas the hotel guests, clearly have little to no experience with fine dinning will be dressed in flip flops and shorts. It's one thing if you're a 17 year old kid, but a 55 to 60 year old man should know better. Or perhaps they don't. Nor do they know the difference between a steakhouse in Palm Beach or a Sizzler back home.

I took my husband for his birthday and they sat us outside The weather was perfect, and the sunset glowed beautifully in the sky that night. Service started out nicely, we were greeted by two staff. We ordered a Cesar salad to share and the porterhouse for two, we asked for medium-rare to medium and the waiter suggested medium, recommended the Brussels sprouts and we ordered a baked potato and mashed for the accompanying side. The warm bread was fresh, crusty and pillowy soft on the inside...delicious! The salad fresh and perfectly dressed. They served the steak which was very rare in the center and two plates with each of our potatoes. They didn't bring any S&P, butter, sour cream or chives for the baked potato and my mashed was barely warm. But no one came back to check on us. I ordered the wild mushroom cream sauce for our steak...the sauce was reddish, a very sweet sauce which was not at all what I expected. We finally caught the attention of another server, askinv he if could send our server. We asked them to fire the steak a bit more, and some condiments for his potato, as well as a hotter potato for me. I mentioned the mushroom sauce was too sweet and not to my liking, and asked for a savory sauce instead. She brought back a steak sauce and a bernaise sauce, again they never checked back. I didn't like either of the sauces so I ate the steak plain with my potato. Brussels sprouts were overhyped as the waiter said they were highly recommended, a bit oily and on the al dente side which gives a hint of bitterness imo. They did send a complimentary birthday cake...we ordered the chocolate layer cake. It was very moist and rich ribboned with thick layers of fudge. We could only eat a tiny sliver and took the rest home. All in all, the experience was a little disappointing....we've had much better service and a nicer dining experience at other steakhouses

Amazing everything! To start, we had the blue crab dumplings. THE BEST!!!!! You MUST get these if you go. For my meal, I got the filet mignon cooked rare, and it was perfect. The mashed potatoes were amazing and seasoned perfectly. My mom got her steak with the baked potato side, and she loved it also. The whole family agreed that this was one of the best steak restaurants we have ever been to. We got the key lime pie for dessert and loved it also! Very fancy, but definitely worth it if you are looking for a nice place to eat or go on vacation. The service was great and we loved our waitresses!

We came here for a birthday dinner and were excited for the food. For dinner we had the blue crab dumplings which were so good! The creamy sauce and truffle oil were amazing with the crab. We also ordered the French onion soup which was tasty. For steak we had ribeye accompanied with creamed spinach with a butter crumble, macaroni and cheese gratin and caramelized brussel sprouts. All of the items were good and the service was fast.

Absolutely loved our date here. We went randomly on a Friday night with no reservations and were seated immediately. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the view of the beautiful Breakers golf course. Everything on the menu was SCRUMPTIOUS. Excellent service. Can't wait to go back and bring friends. We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience, with perfect service, at Flagler Steakhouse. If you're perusing the reviews and photos on Yelp be aware that former prices posted have increased as of July 2022. For starters, we decided to give the Grilled Artichoke Hearts a try. They were just okay and not a reorder for us. Next up, we shared their highly recommended Caesar Salad,$27. They make their own dressing for this classic salad, and it was delicious! Since we were dining at a steakhouse we ordered steak. There are other options if beef isn't your choice. Their petite filet au poivre was fantastic, perfectly grilled medium and flavorful. Entrees do come with a choice of potato - baked, mashed or sweet potato, and the mashed potatoes were a perfect accompaniment. The side order of Brussel Sprouts was equally yummy! They mix a wonderful cocktail and have a specialty/seasonal cocktail menu. In addition, beer and wine choices a plenty!

Everything was good until the blackened ribeye steak.It was beyond blackened and totally charred to the point of bitterness. In addition it was also very over seasoned. Extremely disappointing for a supposed top notch steakhouse.

Such a disappointment! Amazing waitress (Dawn) but the food was blah to say the most. Only reason for 2 stars is the waitress was amazing. Stay away from the soup! BIL had a stomach ache instantly after. Appetizers are tiny and over salted. Steaks were over salted and undercooked. Medium is medium rare. I could have killed a snail by just letting it sit on my steak. Anytime you need to rely on heavy salting then you know there's an issue. We were looking forward to this restaurant for a while and such a huge disappointment. In terms of bill... $200+ per person as we didn't say no so that we can have a great experience.

We were down here with friends for a birthday celebration. Ended up here for a late dinner! Food was incredible and exactly what we were hoping for, the drinks we delicious, and the service was impeccable! Five star experience all the way. Not to mention, we sat outside in FLORIDA, and the systems they have in place for their outdoor space was spectacular and by the end of the meal there was almost a chill in the air! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back in the future!

I enjoyed my dining experience at Flagler Steakhouse. I was attending an event at the Breaker's and was lucky enough to be in the group that was assigned to dine here. This was at night and the lighting very dim. The food was great and so was the service. Since we were a group, we were given a special menu with options of (appetizer, entrée and dessert). The restaurant was packed. I hear Flagler Steakhouse is very popular. I can see why.

The steaks are just the best. Expensive but if one can splurge, put it in your list. Very elegant ambiance. Perfect service.

The Flagler Steakhouse is one of the finest steak houses I have ever been to. The selection of steaks on the menu, the atmosphere, the staff and the finished product are all top-notch. Since it is located in the Famous Breakers Hotel, you would expect the prices to be "elevated" and you would be correct. Dinner will cost between $100 to $150 per person. But oddly these prices seem almost reasonable when you consider the quality of the food you get. I ordered a bone in filet mignon, something I have never seen before. It was magnificent! It tasted like a regular filet mignon but on steroids! The flavor jumped right out of it into your mouth. It was tender, juicy and prepared perfectly. It came with a choice of a baked potato, sweet potato or french fries. I selected a sweet potato which was cooked perfectly. My dining companion ordered the strip steak which was also prepared perfectly medium rare, and very flavorful. We ordered a side of broccoli rob which was served al dente and a light olive oil dressing. Magnificent. The appetizer and dessert menus were fantastic. With desserts such as chocolate torte, New York cheesecake and Key lime pie available. I observed the dessert served on the tables and the pieces were, to put it mildly, large. The chocolate torte served to the table next to ours was more than a piece of chocolate torte, it was almost half a chocolate cake! Unfortunately we were so full from dinner we did not have the room order dessert. We will order it next time we dine here. If you're celebrating a special occasion, or have a company expense account, I totally recommend the Flagler Steakhouse at the Breakers. It is an excellent restaurant.

I love having a local place you can always take out of town guests or recommend without hesitation, and KNOW people will have a perfect experience. You can't do a lot better than Flagler. They are top level customer service. The food is all excellent. The views are fantastic. You will pay for this service but it is sooo worth it. The filet and ribeye will be among the best you have ever had, but everything is so it is barely worth saying lol! The dessert is epic. Don't miss!

I have to admit, outstanding service, friendly staff, 5 stars for that. Decor, very very old non appealing. Time to modernize to new clientele and bring life to the building. Food is another story. I went for lunch and I was very disappointed and surprised. French onion soup wasn't very good. I have had better at a chain restaurants. Steak house burger with fries a total disaster. Fries over seasoned with salt and where cold. Burger consistency very mushy with a strange season. Wouldn't eat it. I don't reorder anything, because I don't trust kitchens when I'm not happy with my food. You can find much better food in other places, I would skip this place. Over priced underperformed.
