Flam Bakery

Fabulous meal in Flåm! Wide variety to choose from bakery selection and pizza options. Better Pizza than I had in Italy. Bakery goods were light and tasty. Lots of tables to choose from inside and outside. If you are stopping here for the day from a cruise, I would highly suggest.

Very small coffee job with only about 4 tables inside. The poor single “barista” was working his tail off!!! The coffee is good, decently priced. The cinnamon roll was not too sweet but would have been soooo much better warm!!

Arriving in Flåm on Christmas Eve, there wasn’t too much to choose from for lunch which turned out to be a blessing. We had the most sensational pizza along with delicious cookies and biscotti. Definitely worth a visit!

I am not sure why this place is rated so high. The coffee was good. The chai tea latte was also good. However, we ordered three sandwiches and an apple crumble pie, which were all subpar. The review said sandwiches are really fresh and good. While the sandwiches may be very fresh, I’m not sure if it was good. I think that being from America, we may have different standards for sandwiches, but there wasn’t much content in the sandwiches. it was just some lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers, and cheese. It was very dry because there was no sauce except for the pesto. Sandwiches that my friends got There was one piece of it was so that you couldn’t really taste it. However, the brie cheese saved the sandwich. The apple pie could have been good, but it was so hard that we were trying to break a rock to cut into pieces.

Quaint little place with exceptional everything. The blueberry smulderpai (crumble) is awesome. Team was so inviting and fun to talk with. Definitely place to check out.

I have such mixed feelings about this café. I got the pizza for dinner and it was delicious, but that's the only good thing. The prices are insane. I completely understand that it's a touristic place but having a basic pizza cost much more than in Oslo is mental. And don't get me started on any drink! The outside seating are was mediocre at best. The tables were so wonky you can't properly cut a slice. The cleaning is supposed to be done by customers returning the dirty dishes to the designated area. During the hour I was there not once has an employee come outside to wipe the tables. It's unpleasant that the atmosphere was thag of a cheap fast food even though the food was tasty and the prices absurd.

Excellent quality, but very pricey. The pastries are perfectly balanced — not too sweet, full of subtle flavors — and the savory options are incredibly fresh and well made. The coffee is also excellent. That said, the prices are extremely high, not for every budget.

Great place for a delicious hot chocolate, coffee, mocha, or several other drinks. They have a variety of pastries, although not as wide a selection as other cafes. Come early or fall in line when it's mid day to early afternoon. Although the line can be 15-20 people long, it moves steadily and ones wait is not too painfully slow. They also have nice tables and benches outside where customers can enjoy the fresh air of Flam.
