Yelp
This review is strictly for the restaurant and food, and not for the apartments, since we didn't stay overnight here. I found this via Yelp (thanks fellow Yelpers!) and couldn't have been more pleased with our dinner here for our one night in Flam.
There's no real sign that this place is also a restaurant, so don't be fooled that it only looks like a hotel / apartments for rent. You can actually dine outside on the patio with a view that most hotels, restaurants and people would kill for. In most other cities, a restaurant with this view would be overly crowded, loud, and expensive, with everyone clammoring to eat as close to the water as possible. Instead, this place was empty and it made for a very peaceful and lovely dinner on the patio. They have blankets and heat lamps so that you won't be cold.
The food was pretty good, and probably some of the best that you can get in Flam. It's a pretty small town, so the options are fairly limited. We got a delicious piece of salmon - it was fresh, the fillet was quite large, and it was perfectly cooked so that it was slightly rare in the middle.
We also got a pizza which was a decent size. It has tomato sauce, parmesan, thin slices of ham, and a little bit of arugula on top. We were hungry so it great that this was filling enough and it was tasty.
I would definitely come back here for the restaurant and would also love to stay in these apartments if I need lodging in Flam. Come here at least for dinner: both the food and views are worth a short 10 min trek here (from the train station)
