Is Azerbaijan Safe to Visit? Here's what to know in 2025!

"Rising above Baku's skyline, I found the three Flame Towers to be very futuristic constructions funded by the country's oil wealth; they're covered in LED screens that display dancing flames." - Matthew Kepnes

Azerbaijan Itinerary: 1 & 2-Week Routes for First-Time Visitors

"Completed in 2012 and standing 182 meters tall, these iconic towers are covered in LED screens that display dancing flames; one tower houses a hotel with a restaurant at the top (the food is said to be very good and fairly priced), and watching the sunset and the towers' LED display come alive is highly recommended." - Matthew Kepnes

It’s a set of 3 buildings which resemble the flames of fire and there is a light show at the night every day which is visible from almost most part of Baku .. you can visit the top of the tower by walk or by a tram uphill .. you can also have a look at the city from top of the hill

MY SHAYLA 😍🔥🔥🔥 The Flame Towers are straight-up breathtaking! These giants dominate the Baku skyline, and you can spot them from almost anywhere in the city. The architecture is sleek, bold, and totally iconic. But the real magic happens at night when the towers light up with LED flames that look absolutely unreal. 🔥 Pro tip: Hop on the funicular around 5:30 PM, and by the time you reach the top of Highland Park, the view will leave you speechless. The city, the Caspian, and those fiery towers create pure cinematic perfection. 🌆✨

The Flame Towers in Baku truly make an impression, no matter where you view them from in the city. Their sleek, modern design and glowing presence – especially at night – dominate the skyline and give Baku a unique, futuristic character. Whether you’re walking along the Caspian promenade or exploring the old city, the towers are always there, watching over the capital like shimmering flames. They’ve become a distinctive and iconic part of Baku – a must-see for any visitor. Beautiful, bold, and symbolic, the Flame Towers are more than just architecture; they’re a statement of how tradition and modernity blend in this fascinating city.

Really amazing architecture and cool buildings. We viewed them from the park nearby and watched the colours at night. It's better to see them in the dark when they light up

Flame Towers are great to visit but it is mainly a hotel and restaurant on 19th floor. The central terrace is actually a pool deck and accessible for residents only. Best is a 15 minute walk to the Manzara Restaurant for the magnificent Baku City view. Do this you will not regret it.

The Flame Towers are stunning both day and night, but especially beautiful after sunset. The LED light shows that illuminate the towers create a magical atmosphere, and when viewed from Highland Park or the Caspian promenade, they blend perfectly with the sparkling city lights of Baku. A must-see landmark that defines the modern face of the city.
