Flamenco Cairo Hotel

My stay at Flamenco Zamalek Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are tidy and comfortable, and the location is perfect — right in the heart of Zamalek, close to everything. I’d like to give special thanks to Eslam from the reception team for his excellent service and friendly attitude. He was always helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip! 🌟

Stayed for 3 nights |Place is in a good location. Service not bad. Decor is run down and room had some minor issues. Sink was dirty when we arrived. |Bar was good. Restaurant food and wine was great.

We had a very nice experience at the hotel during our vacation in September. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms were always clean and the location is ideal for people who want to experience the Egyptian life. The security of the hotel made us feel very safe, the breakfast buffet was incredible and with a great variety of food, as well as the restaurant of the hotel. We really appreciated the easy check-in and check-out, along with the awesome facilities! We hope we are able to return some time in the future. Thank you!

Very welcoming and hospitable environment to stay. I recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Cairo. I hope to come back in January with my family. This hotel would definitely be our choice!

The hotel staff is very nice, especially the security team out in the front entrance. My biggest complaint here is the lack of cleaning. Health inspectors from the US would have a blast shutting this hotel down. The pillows had mold and some other type of dirt in/on them. I reported this and the first option they gave me was to simply change the pillow case. I then had to point out again that mold was inside the pillow, so they changed the whole thing. The mattresses are literally flat. I expected a little more from this hotel but it was disappointing how management didnt really care.

This hotel was formerly the Golden Tulip. I stayed there 20 years ago and then again in 2025. Many rooms have a view of the Nile and it is magnificent. However some rooms are in need of renovation, and lifts don’t take guests to all floors ie stairs need to be negotiated. The staff however are very friendly and efficient. Coffee shops and restaurants are within 5 mins walk.

Some hotels present a completely different image online. They make you feel you’ve chosen a wonderful place. But when you arrive, you realize you’ve made a very wrong decision. Although I tried to cope with the furniture I could not bear the smell. I did survive for one night then moved to another hotel nearby. Unfortunately, there’s nothing positive I could say about the place but hope the owners will take my comments seriously and invest in the place and staff.
