Flaming Cliffs

Surrealistic place. No sounds except a light breeze caressing us. Stepping the same paths as the dinosaurs. First place where dino’s eggs were found. Many hares and toadheaded lizards. Incredible vaste panorama on Gobi desert.

Definitely check out this place. They have a toilet and small restaurant as well

Can you imagine hoofing it out here by camel and Dodge motorcade 122 years ago with hundreds of locals in tow to help you pack carry and cart out tons of some of the first discovered dinosaur relics in human history? That was a time and place when you could see and do things in our geological and physical world for the first time. Just super cool to see and touch a part of that history.

Amazing place, even we got lost in gobi dessert, but all is worth it.

There is just the cliff where dinosaur eggs were first found in 1920s followed by a few excavation expeditions to uncover more dinosaur fossils. Stayed here for the night in this vast desert with an exactly feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. Dramatic cloud make the place look really out of this world. Amazing spot for sunset photography. But wind was extremely strong, so got to hold down that tripod with weights.
