The vibe was authentic and it was live on a Sunday afternoon. You would've thought it was a Friday night in there! Cute food presentation. Wonderful customer service. Couldn't give a full 5 star. I've had better Filipino food in 2 other restaurants. But other then that, they were great!!

My food was delicious! Staff was very polite and helpful when I picked up my order. The atmosphere was great, there was a live singer performing. Restaurant looked very clean and comfortable.

Went for lunch with a party of 11 and luckily beat the rush—this place fills up fast. I remember coming here back when it had a different name, but the soul of the place still feels the same with fun updates like a karaoke podium and sari-sari store-style photobooth. The festive, family party vibe hits you, even if you don’t know anyone there. The music was loud, but so was everyone else—it added to the joyful chaos. You know how Filipinos are—they don’t talk, they broadcast. Service was impressively quick for a group our size. Portions were generous and fairly priced. Highlights included the Sizzling Sisig, Pork Isaw, and Barkada Platter. The Pork BBQ needed a bit more grill time, and the Fried Bangus was bland, but everything else was savory and tender. A birthday in our group turned into a full-restaurant singalong—It was the kind of spontaneous celebration you don’t forget. A fun, flavorful spot with a warm, boisterous vibe. Whether you're with a crowd or on your own, it’s the kind of place that pulls you in.

I picked up lumpias and I saw the food coming out and it looked so good. Lumpias were delicious. They have a mini stage inside. The only bad thing is that it felt a little hot coming from outside.

Entire meal was sooooo good. We got the pancit with the lumpia and the crispy pork, the takoyaki, and the fish ball and quail egg skewers. I personally didn’t enjoy the skewers because the texture wasn’t my thing but my friends loved them! I loved everything else though. We ordered the halo halo for dessert and I was officially sent to heaven. So, so delicious.

Google
I’m not normally on this side of town. But when I drove by I had to do a U-turn to come back and try it out. It did not disappoint. I got the pork Adobo which was very savory. I recommend you try it out. I’ll definitely will be back.

Google
We ordered a family platter and got a lot of food, so good! Excellent Filipino food, they also had karaoke!! Me and another girl sang a song! Had a blast, loved the food and atmosphere, great spot.

Google
My first impression was this place has alot of Filipinos in one small building - the most I've seen in Arizona. But most of the food I ordered was mediocre. The beef caldereta did not use traditional brisket but used small "beef stew" pieces instead and had no green olives. The lechon entree tasted bland. The only entrees that were worthy were the Sisig pork and halo-halo dessert. I won't be coming back.

Yelp
Amazing Filipino food! If you're in the area on Camelback Road, I highly recommend stopping by this hole in the wall gem. Their pork adobo is melt in your mouth delicious and the sauce is so fantastic. They offered delicious lumpia bites and other appetizers. You can't forget to order the. halo halo desert. **pros: if you're with the group, you can order one halo halo, and then split it between 4 cups. Because it is a large cup! We went with the family powder and it was more than enough food for $85. It was a ton of food with three huge scoops of rice. Even also karaoke! See the pictures of my niece :)

Yelp
Let me start off saying the barbecue pork skewers are exceptional. The eggrolls I ordered were overcooked. I purposely came in at 3:55PM before the dinner rush started on a Sunday. One hour later I'm still waiting place my dessert order. Service should not take this long when this restaurant was less than 20% capacity. I've been to this restaurant at least half a dozen times and have never experienced service this slow. This experience was taking Filipino Time to another level. Update: it's 5:31 PM and I have to walk up to the counter to pay for my meal. I cannot get the server to stop with a credit card reader.

Yelp
I met a Filipino buddy for lunch and he introduced me to some great dishes. I have tried some in the past. We started with Sinigang (no pork). I liked it. Very different that any American soups. Next was Pork and chicken BBQ skewers. Very good flavors. Def a must. Kaldereta was amazing!!! Lastly was Sizzling Sisig. Also fantastic. Of course rice. And a Sago-Gulaman drink. Very sweet, but refreshing, I cut it with water. Next visit I'll try some dessert.

Yelp
I came back here again last week and the food was still great overall, but there were just multiple things that went wrong with our order. It took about 45 min for any food to be served after ordering. When the sisig plate arrived, it wasn't hot enough to cook the raw egg on top, so we had to ask them to bring it back to cook the egg. We also ordered the family platter and they forgot to add any lumpia. We didn't receive the lumpia until the very end, but it was freshly cooked at least. The halo halo was a big redeeming factor because it was really good. I felt bad for our server because he was incredibly nice and helpful and apologetic, but he seemed to be the only one serving every table in the restaurant and it was pretty busy.

Yelp
Saw this place from a video on tiktok and we've been obsessed and wanting to try them for a while. Finally made the 60 mile drive (about an hour) and we were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and our server, one of three workers that always made sure we were doing okay--were so friendly. The food? Amazing. We had leftovers today and my husband and I are debating driving up again to get a large order to go to eat for this week. The inside is dimmed light, the tables are roomy and it's nice and cool. An important thing when dealing with our heat. Don't hesitate and give them a try, they're so delicious.

Yelp
Tambayan was a very authentic Filipino restaurant, especially with the sari-sari store within it. The restaurant's aesthetic reminded me of places in San Diego, and the sari-sari store inside (which sells little snacks) was nostalgic for me -- made it feel like I was in the Philippines. Right as my friend and I walked into the restaurant, a male waiter came up to us to seat us within a few minutes. Throughout our entire lunch, the waiter was very friendly and approachable. We had quite a few conversations with him! His customer service definitely made the experience better. We ordered the lumpia, sizzling sisig + added the egg and chicken inasal. To drink, I had the ube horchata and my friend had the mango juice. Everything that we ate was top tier. I was hoping that the fried pork belly would be crispier since it came on a cast iron; that would've made this dish even better, but the flavors were so good. I don't eat chicken inasal a lot, but I enjoyed it. The sauce it came with was so good that I could eat it with anything. The menu states that it comes with a cucumber salad (if I recall correctly), but it's only three slices of cucumber. I could have eaten three whole cucumbers, so I think they need to add more. The waiter said that they took tocino off the menu, which I wish they did not, but I guess it didn't sell enough. If I could have a wishlist, it would be adding tocino, beef tapa, and babingka. Also, there is a lot of pork on the menu, as a typical Filipino restaurant, so the option to replace the protein if possible. For instance, chicken instead of pork for adobo and sinigang. Overall, if you are looking for delicious Filipino food in Arizona, then Tambayan is the place to visit.

Yelp
We ordered pork adobo (very flavorful), chicken isana (chicken thigh with krispy flavorful skin, but juicy meat), lumpia (egg rolls were tasty), and pansit (overloaded style with pork belly which is very good by itself). My mom enjoyed the karaoke . The staff were super friendly.

Yelp
I heard this place was newer so we came to check it out! It was pretty cold out that day and going inside didn't make a difference. Not sure why it was kept so cold indoors. There was sari sari store in the back, a karaoke machine next to the entrance and there were probably 2-3 family's inside already when we arrived even though they had JUST opened. It didn't take long for the place to fill up though! And I mean, it was full. Order: * ube horchata * bangus I've never heard of the combo ube + horchata and being a fan of both it was a must try. That was gone fast in record time. It was DELICIOUS! I'm still sad that we didn't order one to go lol The bangus was fair. It was too salty for me. I usually like to drown it in soy sauce but I couldn't because there was already so much spice added.

Yelp
Ok, so I'd wanted to try this place forever. Food was not what I expected. Didn't particularly find it good or unique. Portions were average to small. The service was friendly, but very very slow. We were there for 2 hours and the restaurant was half full. Overall nice people, but I wouldn't give this place a high recommendation.

Yelp
There is a lot of improvement for the menu and I think the service. I had visited with family on Sunday morning when they opened and was taken back by how cold and drafty it was inside. Climate control sets the mood and tone A LOT, so walking into a restaurant where its cold inside was not very comfortable. We were seated right away, but the service was a little lackluster. I think they have some upselling skills to work on, because instead of trying to encourage to try other items, the server almost shamed us. That was weird. We waited a long time for our food, and I understand that they had just opened, but was nothing prepared at all? I can only speak for the quality of my order and what my spouse had to say. My order was the crispy kare-kare which I was very excited for. I believe the sauce for the kare-kare along with the vegetables could have been cooked down a little longer. It was too grainy, and the vegetables were still raw which was not good with the kare-kare. The actual crispy pork was great. I was served rice and bagoóng along with my order. The rice was not fluffy at all, and that's strange for a place that just opened. My spouse ordered the longganisa breakfast plate and he did enjoy it, but he was expecting at least two fried eggs, not one. There is a lot that could be worked on, but I don't think we will go out of our way to drive here. If we somehow find ourselves here for dinner service, maybe we can get a better experience!

Yelp
Amazing foods!!!! We were visiting Scottsdale and our cousins from the area brought over a HUGE spread from here and it was amazingly delicious! BBQ stix, lumpia, fried pasta, lechon kawali, tortanf eggplant, bangus, daing, and so much more. The foods were so fresh and delectable!

Yelp
With this restaurant being in a prime location on Camelback, I've driven past this place a few times and always wanted to stop by. We finally had the chance to come here tonight for dinner, and we left very pleased! My boyfriend is Filipino, and he's always looking for good, authentic Filipino food like what we used to find back home in the Bay Area. Let me start off my saying we'll definitely be coming back here to bring his parents next time. Tonight we tried the sizzling sisig and pancit overload, and it was so good. The flavors worked so well together, everything was nice and savory, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The service here was also amazing. Aside from a small mistake on our bill (we were accidentally charged for the large halo halo instead of the regular one and didn't notice until after we paid, but they quickly refunded us), everyone was very welcoming and the service was quick. Definitely a great family owned restaurant that values their customers. The decor in this restaurant is really cute and displays from the Filipino culture. The menu also says they have karaoke every night from 5-9 pm! This is a great place to try for authentic Filipino food, they have an extensive menu so there's something for everyone.

Yelp
Before boba tea, there was sago. So good. All the dishes were good & fresh. It was tasty & felt like your grandmother was cooking for you. Service is not the fastest but it's acceptable. Clean and nicely decorated. We will be back!

Yelp
As as a pinay, I give this place my stamp of approval. If you want Authentic Filipino eats, go here! I've had their food truck before and liked the food so I had a feeling I'd like the restaurant too.... The restaurant is big with ample seating and parking. The area is kinda sketch though so not sure I'd wander around here at night. But during the day it's fine! My friends and I went on a Sunday around 11:30am. It wasn't too busy yet but around 12:30, more peeps came in. We were greeted right away and sat down with our menus. The place is clean and the decor is eh but gives this Filipino homey vibe I know. There's also a lil market to the left if there are some Filipino snacks, cleaning products and random stuff you want. Our waitress was really nice and patient. The four of us ordered the Family platter, which feeds around 4-6 people- pork bbq, chicken inasal, tortang talong (eggplant omelette), ensalada, pancit, lempio (pork belly), lumpia (meat egg roll), fried bangus (milkfish) and rice. It was all yummy and we finished pretty much almost all of it. One of my friends never had Filipino food before and she enjoyed this. Our food came out at a decent time, I didn't think it was slow.... We also ordered the takoyaki and they were good too! Yes they do play happy birthday a lot and give you a free Filipino dessert with a trick candle if it's your birthday. Lols So you may hear it many times while you are there along with someone singing karaoke in the background. If that really bothers you then maybe go somewhere else. I don't think that's a reason to give an eh review. If you know us Filipinos, we love karaoke and celebrating birthdays. So I think it's really great Tambayan does this :) We came for my friends' birthdays and we had a fun time and enjoyed both desserts- brazo de mercedes and the layered ube pandan rice cake.

Yelp
Such great, authentic Filipino food!! The lumpia was to die for. I dream about that lumpia!! Everything we tried was delicious. This place can get busy, but worth the wait!! Try it!!

Yelp
So, as someone who IS Filipino and has lived in the Philippines I highly recommend this place. I took my mom here and she approved. That's really all you need to know. It's pretty authentic and delicious. I have only tried a couple other Filipino places in the Valley since there really aren't a ton of them. This once stacks up against the good ones I've had before. We tried the family platter- bbq chicken, chk inasal, liempo, bangus, torta, ensalada, lumpia, pancit, rice. We had the pork sinigang soup which was excelllent. All very good. I finished my meal with a delicious dessert- Halo Halo. I loved it. It's like the "kitchen sink" of Filipino desserts. So much stuff is in there. Our food did take a while just fyi. So service isn't on the American time table. It's on something called "Filipino time". Don't go there if you are in a rush. The name "Tambayan" of the restaurant literally means "to hang out" in Tagalog. There were large parties there that were celebrating birthdays and singing karaoke (as Filipinos love to do). All in all, go here if you already like Filipino food, or go here to try it if this cuisine is new to you.

leilani m.

Yelp
I only say these things because I want this spot to do well. We had the sisig and longanisa. I went once before and the feeling was also mid. Please stop using short cuts to the food quality and get organized. You should not serve white rice sprinkled with garlic and call it garlic rice. You should not serve four slices of cucumber with a drizzle of sweet chili sauce and call it cucumber salad. For people who know Filipino food, they will notice and say they've had better. For people who haven't had Filipino food, they won't remember it and won't be back. Please do better, we want you to stay around and to thrive! If things stay the way they are, we're worried you won't last.

Yelp
Don't let the outside building/neigborho scare you as it's definitely in need of an upgrade, however when you enter the building, you can tell it used to be a KBBQ restaurant with vents at each table In terms of food, Pork Sinigang- 4/5. This sour pork tamarind soup is available only Friday-Sunday, so we wanted to see if it worth it. Overall, broth was good, but felt it missing something (maybe a little more fish sauce, some Thai chili, but it's more personal preference here) but wish they added long beans and more eggplant. As for meat, they do give an abundant amount. Sizzling sisig- 5/5- must get! Fried pork with their sauce that's sour and savory. In addition with the egg, it perfectly balance the acidity. Chicken skewers- 5/5- you can taste the marination of balance soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar that's grilled to perfection. Chicken BBQ- 3.5/5- basic chicken compared with the skewers. And less meat since their bones :)

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon to meet up with Michele M some yummy lunch. She tagged me on IG awhile ago, so we gotta do this. It was very busy when we got there at 11:30am. Ok, this must be good. We looked at the menu and instantly knew what we wanted. We had to wait for the server to noticed that we are ready. She saw us and came over, took our drink and food orders. Then we waited 45 mins. I was finished with my Thai tea and water. The food finally came out. It looked good and was delicious. We ordered the: -Pancit Overload is Pancit & lechon kawali and lumpia toppings. -Chicken and Pork BBQ Skewers Rice Plates (Fresh off the grill marinated chicken and pork, glazed with their secret BBQ sauce.) I know they are busy, the service was friendly and nice. Food and service was very slow. I honestly do want them to do well. I hope the next visit is better. Or I should order dessert to come out first.

Yelp
Guuuuys! This place is so good! I was skeptical at first bc I'm Filipino and the menu options was just ok for me. But don't let it stop you from trying. It was very authentic tasting. The lechon Kawali was crunchy on the outside and the tender and juicy on the inside. The pork bbq skewers tasted fantastic as well. The meat was tender also! The seasoning on the bbq was very Filipino tasting. Fantastic flavors. The crispy kare kare was spot on as well. The veggies were cooked perfectly. The kare kare sauce wasn't salty and right amount of peanuts. If you are a lechon lover this place is very much worth it. The service was very good. Such nice sweet waiters making sure we're ok. They have karaoke also if yall wanna sing. Overall we had a great family dinner here and will be back.

Yelp
Authentic Filipino food. This is probably the best I've found in Arizona. They don't Americanize it much. It is what it should be. Probably one of the only places that is better is our house, because my wife is a really good Filipina cook. But since you can't come over, this is probably your next best choice. You'll probably have to try different things to see what you like if you're an American. I can almost guarantee you'll like adobo, shanghai, and lechon. Other flavors can emphasize the sour flavor, which Filipinos love but may be too much for a typical American. Definitely try it out. It's not like any other Asian cuisine. And this place does it well.

Yelp
Tambayan in Tagalog means a place to hang out and this was an amazing dining experience! For August 2024 UYE International Supper Club, the organizers brought us here and I am so glad I made it tonight. I almost canceled as there was a pretty severe storm happening, but I am glad I braved thru the storm to come eat delicious food and gather with friends. I ordered the kalamansi juice to start, and kalamansi is kind of like a lime/lemon native to the Phillipines. This was a great drink! Was a little sweeter than what I am used to but still delicious! It has been a hot minute since I had Filipino food and have missed it. I've grown up all my life with Filipino friends and have had many wonderful dishes like their lumpias, adobo chicken (had a college roommate who made an kick ass adobo chicken), sissig, lechon (roasted pork) and their famous dessert halo halo. Tonight, I ordered the pancit overload, which are stir fry vermicelli noodles, topped with lechon (roasted pork belly) and lumpias (Filipino egg rolls). This dish was a good size and wow, oh wow, this was solid and so good! Definitely hit the spot and so comforting! I also have enough left over for lunch tomorrow! Other friends got the milkfish, lemongrass chicken, adobo pork and everyone raved about their dish! Before we all gathered to leave, the waiter brought over a Filipino flan for us on the house, which was so nice really. This was good and denser than a Catalan flan. I enjoyed it! Overall, it was a great experience here. The food is excellent, the service was good, and the price was very reasonable. The place used to be a Korean BBQ place (as per Norm), and there are some fun booths that are painted bright yellow here. I'd say it has a fast casual atmosphere. Come here to eat, can overlook the decor. We all did spy a little store in the back, but we all forgot to visit when we left! I loved this place and will be back! Next time, I will check out their little store and other dishes on the menu!

Yelp
I came here on a triple date night and because I saw it featured on Instagram. I thought we had ordered the pictured foods from Instagram or that other people had ordered at other tables (that looked amazing). What we had ordered was the fish (because I love a food whole fish) and the pork adobo. I think we need to go back and try the dishes that looked yummy because the ones we got were good, but dry unfortunately. Our friends said their dishes were pretty good which was good to hear. I think they need some time to adjust from the food truck set up to a dine in experience. The service was extremely slow and when we were there it wasn't too busy. Later on there was a very loud and repetitive birthday song over the loud speaker. It threw us off and we didn't know how many times it would keep repeating. I want them to do well and I will be back for another try.

Yelp
The first time I tried this restaurant was thru there site they used uber drive to deliver there food, i ordered kare-kare and i know that bagoong is expensive but they still have a little bit of bagoong but it still need more. I liked there Takoyaki, i would say the portion of octopus was good and it's big too, the thai tea was the best. my husband like there Dinuguan and i like it too. they also have some kakanin like bibingka, kutsinta, puto, puto flan and some other more. There Sari Sari store was so cute and you can buy there as well the Royal cost $5 but it was really worth it. the lady was really nice (i forgot to ask her name) but she was really nice to me and to my husband. I will definitely go back to try more of there products

Yelp
Been looking to try filipino restaurants in phoenix area. This was my first one and was impressed. Service was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the pork bbq and sisig and the food came out so quickly less than 5 minutes. Really enjoyed the pork bbq with the vinegar dip on the side. Pairs together nicely. The sisig was good as well. Only thing that was off was that the pork in the sisig was kind of tuff to chew but other than that the food was great. Ambiance in the restaurant is amazing. Has a lot of culture to it. The plates resemble banana leaves. There is a sari sari store that is common in the Philippines.

Yelp
Absolute fantastic surprise! My good friend and I were treated so well, like family. Don't be fooled by the exterior, it's immaculate inside and the food is beyond!!!! The service is amazing and Liza, our waitress, was the best! We came at the perfect time, as karaoke was being set up! So we were entertained as we ate! So for food, we ordered pancit with meat and veggies, 30 piece lumpia (so we could have enough for leftovers), BBQ pork skewer rice plate, a pork adobo rice plate, and the calamansi juice for each of us as the beverages! I'd seen this place before, maybe at a food festival, don't quote me on this, but could've been a Yelp recommendation... either way, we came, we ate, we left stuffed, and we will be back!!!

Yelp
Ordered food for a gathering at the house. Called it in 2 days prior & the assistance that was provided was great. I was even able to pay via Zelle since the order was made through the phone. When I came to pick it up from the restaurant, the food wasn't quite ready, but it was an hour after opening. It's a Sunday, so it was already busy as you can imagine. They helped me pack the food in the car respectfully as to avoid possible spillage. The containers they were in were secure. If the prior comments haven't already mentioned it, the food tastes so good. Even though the restaurant is located in Phoenix & I'm located in Gilbert, it's worth the go!

Yelp
Love the food here. Authentic Filipino food at its finest. So happy to have this option a mile from my home.

Yelp
Had to check them out. I absolutely love Filipino food and they did not disappoint. First I loved that they have ample parking in their lot, but even with that they were so busy people were still parking on the street. As soon as you step out of your car you immediately smell the food and now you're gonna want to run in. With them still being so new, there's usually a wait, but it's never too long. The inside is pretty basic. You can tell it was an old Korean BBQ spot. It's nothing fancy. Looks like maybe a family owned spot. Service was decent and my waitress was super sweet. This is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner with family and friends. If in a hurry definitely call ahead and do a to-go order. That will save you a lot of time. Now the food is truly what makes this place 10/10. I acted like I couldn't come back and ordered a little bit of everything on their menu. Inihaw na liempo is usually one of my favorite dishes and this did not disappoint. I skipped on the adobo this time, but many had it and it looked great. Only thing I wish they had were more beef options. But I'll be back to try some other Filipino classics that I passed up this time.

Yelp
We had Lumpia's, Chicken BBQ skewers (husband) and Lechon Kawali. The pork belly was crispy and delicious, I'll definitely be back for this- my only "complaint" (not) would be I wanted a bit more of that papaya salad that goes so nicely with the delicious rice and the crackling yet juicy pork. The service was very friendly and also came back to check on us, what I always appreciate. Benches were a bit tight but seeing the table BBQ it's understandable. I really want to go back and try that! (Wasn't a fan of the chicken skewers so the review only speaks to the fried pork belly.)

Yelp
Food: 2.8/5 Service: 1/5 Ambiance: 3/5 I came here with a party of 5. Our server was quick to take our orders, but they took FOREVER to bring out our food. The rest of our party received their entrees, and the server completely forgot about mine. One of my friends ordered the chicken skewers, and I ordered the pork skewers. The description of both were so similar that we couldn't tell whether it was pork or chicken. When we asked our server which one it was, she just said "yes" and quickly walked away. After taking a bite, it was definitely chicken. Our server didn't come back to our table for awhile. We had to remind our server whether my entree was still coming out, as everyone had finished their meals at this point. 30 min later, I finally got my entree. The pork skewers were mainly burnt and sorta dry. The marinade was too sweet for my liking. It seemed like they served American rice and that was dry too (There's a difference between American and Asian rice). My fiance ordered the sisig which was good. He also ordered the sago gulaman which tasted like straight sugar. The servers accidentally brought out waters and the sago gulaman twice. They seem very disorganized and I wasn't a fan of the food. It was a disappointment for me.

Yelp
If you enjoy Filipino food, this is a great spot. Great dishes. Fresh cooked food so it's really tasty. Service is a bit slow when they are really busy. But with patience, you're still really enjoying the meal. Central Phoenix location should make it easy for anyone around the Valley to stop in.

Yelp
The food was delicious! We went for dinner as a family, and we got to try various dishes and each one of them was amazing. The servers were very polite, made some tasty recommendations and we ended the night by karaoke, I would highly recommend this spot and we will be going back again for sure.

Yelp
Third time visiting and the food did not disappoint except for the plastic pieces left in the sisig. Didn't realize until I finished most of the plate that they were in there. Thought they were pieces of egg. My mom thought they were crab pieces. Decided to finish the plate anyway because why not! Food was that good. Then when we complained, my mom got a little excited about it and she was told to relax. Yikes lol. My mom also asked for extra ice for her water and we didn't get it until the food came. We had to actually go up to the counter to get it. Appetizers came at the same time the food did. They did comp us the sisig plate, so thank you! Some patrons decided to do karaoke which was great entertainment. Wished more people got up to sing but when they left, that was it. I would have loved to have gone up but my family begged me not to. The singing ability gene skipped me We also brought in some calamansi from our tree for the owners (they weren't there) for their personal use or to use whatever/whenever but were told that they had their own. So basically it felt like a "thanks but no thanks". We left it with them anyway. But not doing that again. All in all, place is great for food, but not really feeling the family/neighborhood atmosphere that you would usually feel when entering a Filipino home. Everything just felt rushed and not personable. Just go for the food!

Yelp
They need to change the photo of their Bangus plate on their app. I was thinking I was going to get a whole Bangus like in their picture for $18 (tax & tip), not half. Definitely not what I was expecting. I would have ordered something else.

Yelp
Food was great, tastes just like the old country. The pancit overload was interesting, it was a vegetarian pancit with a lechon kawali and lumpia Shanghai topping. The pancit was very tasty and the Lechon kawali and lumpia Shanghai were tasty and crunchy. Best thing was the pancit and lumpia didn't contain shrimps since I have a shellfish allergy! We also ordered the pork bbq on a stick which was most definitely delicious and soft, perfectly marinated and cooked. I also had the eggplant omelette which was just okay. Service was slow, could've been better. Restaurant is big and roomy and clean. The music was too loud and I requested that it was turned down and they very much obliged. I would go back again to try the other dishes but it is quite a drive from Scottsdale!

Yelp
Authentic Filipino dishes served by kind family waitresses. The food is delicious and portions are large although they were a little skimpy on the meat. If you are a karaoke fan this is the place to go. We were there at lunch so we didn't enjoy the option but it looks like they have a fun setup.

Yelp
The food; the service; the atmosphere & were all amazing! Saturday nights it looks like it's karaoke night ! Everyone was having an amazing time and enjoying good food! We got the bbq chicken skewers and pancit overload and lumpia and everything was delicious! It was busy and the wait wasn't very long at all. This is definitely a must try place !

Yelp
The food was excellent. Staff are very friendly. The restaurant is clean and they have a small Sari Sari store inside for decoration, very nice touch. Everything was cooked just right, portions are fair for price, and the food tasted great. Bakery items were okay, I think I'd go with the halo halo special next time for dessert. Definitely worth re-visiting!

Yelp
Traditional Filipino food at its best! Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Try their Sisig and isaw!

Yelp
I've always loved Filipino food one of my favorites. My cousin told me about this place so I thought I'd give it a try. It took me a while for me to be greeted & seated. The waitress was very kind very sweet. As far as the food, the pork adobo was very tender very good. We should had a little bit more sauce. I wasn't too thrilled with the mini lumps. I got them to go and when I got home, I didn't taste much pork in them a lot of the breading of the lumpia. The vegetable lumpia's are regular size didn't have much of a flavor. But again, I did enjoy the pork Adobe. The only downfall is it's very very slow the service. I could ask for extra napkins and a few minutes goes by. She passes me by and doesn't remember it took a while to get to go containers so a little bit disappointed on having to wait and wait. But again the pork adobo was very good tender meat.

Yelp
an extra star for being a mom and pop. This is a quaint yet spacious place to eat. Tried their Bangus and isaw. Flavorful but every dish was slightly off. The Bangus fish was old and frozen which unfortunately gets heightened when deep fried. Also I was looking for fish bones but encountered none which was surprising if it was a milkfish. The isaw was grilled over a gas grill and unfortunately the gas smell had strongly incorporated in it and thus I could only eat a few before feeling slightly ill.

Yelp
Came to this place once befote, thinking that they were still Flaming Pig. Apparently the owners of FP threw in the towel and sold the whole place to the owners of Tambayan. Opted to try them out, that time, and gave them a scathing review. Good thing that they did not have their own Yelp account that time. In any case, I decided that a few months after they may have improved. They did. I ordered Longaniza. I asked them which type of Longaniza they served (fyi, there are many different varieties of longaniza in the Philippines). The only response they gave me was "garlicky." In any case, I went ahead and tried it. Their service was a big improvement. It helped that their server was nice. The owner? I'd rather that she stays behind the counter. The place has finally added a karaoke, and that is good. They should have placed it inside a room though. Fortunately I came at a time when the karaoke was silent.

Yelp
Ventured to @tambayanatjoanns at their new restaurant! We were seated quickly and we were able to order a variety of items including their lumpia, crispy pata, lechon kawali, pancit overload (includes lumpia and lechon), sisig and their sinigang (only available Friday through Sunday). Their portions were generous and everything was so good. The lechon and crispy pata had that satisfying crunch and the sinigang had just the right amount of sourness. The halo halo had the proportion of ingredients and the presentation was perfect, topped with the Filipino flag. overall, great experience and can't wait to return!

Yelp
Took the place of flaming pig which was another Filipino restaurant. First time I tried this place was as a food truck and now they actually have a physical location with service. Walking in feels like a very big lol and pop owned shop, very welcoming. The food menu is the same as it was before when they did not have a physical location. All the dishes were tasty from the lumpia, to the sisig and crispy pata. Good place if you are nearby and want a Filipino food fix, however I will say that their menu is very pork, mainly fried pork heavy. They did have sinigang when we visited which was nice but a little more sour than I usually have it. Not a bad place, but wished it showcased a more Filipino dishes that don't just revolve around lechon.

Yelp
Update:Came again but this time got a family platter.Quantity was good enough for 3 adults, but needed more rice haha. They were out of ice cream for the halo halo this time so I got an ube horchata. It was good but at the bottom is a lot of cinnamon. Ambiance good, service friendly, and the food was excellent. We got halo halo, tiramisu, liempo(pork belly), tortang talong, pork bbq skewers, sizzling sisig, pineapple juice, and calamansi juice. They we're all so good. The liempo was very flavorful, the bbq was saucy but not overly sauced, and the sisig had good flavor too. The sisig didn't arrive extremely hot and sizzling.Seems like it was just stopping the sizzle, but that's okay.Definitely will be back. There is a lot of seating, and we came around 5pm on a Saturday. It wasn't extremely busy but there were a good amount of customers.

Yelp
5 stars for service. 3 stars for food. Loud family style food. Not truly authentic. Cannot taste peanut in Kare Kare with lechon. Not banana catsup for egg with egg plant. BBQ pork is not sweet enough

Yelp
The food was incredible, I couldn't stop eating! Everything was flavorful and delicious. The service was friendly, and I appreciated the variety of Filipino desserts available for purchase at the register (note: these are cash-only). However, they do accept cards for dinner payments. There was plenty of seating, and while it looks like the building used to be a KBBQ restaurant, some tables still have built-in structures that block foot space. Not all tables had this issue, and it wasn't a big deal for me. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Arizona!
