Flanagan Farm

We are so thrilled that we booked Flanagan Farm for our wedding!! Everything was absolutely beautiful and having the property from Thursday - Sunday was such a gift. We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding weekend and soak up every moment. The farmhouse was the perfect space to stay, get ready, and have a quiet moment to ourselves. We opted for a tented cocktail hour, dinner in the barn, and an after party in the cocktail barn. Everything was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend Flanagan Farm and can't wait to come back every winter for the supper series!

We absolutely cherished our time at Flanagan Farm!! We hosted our wedding at the Farm, and one of the most special parts was our families being able to stay in the farmhouse from Wednesday through Sunday of wedding weekend. Everything was perfect, well maintained, and wonderful. The property manager Jean was truly phenomenal, and the owners Mike and Essie are so accommodating, friendly, thoughtful, and kind. It was the icing on the cake of a perfect week + weekend! We can’t recommend the Barn at Flanagan Farm enough. The property is so lovely, the sanctuary is the perfect spot for your ceremony, and the barn is beautiful. We can’t wait to go back and celebrate more milestones there in the future!!

It's hard to explain how incredible this venue is. To start, Essie and Mike are one-of-a-kind. They're responsive, caring, thoughtful and amenable. Simply put, it's a joy to work with them and we would plan many more events at Flanagan Farm if we could. The venue itself is spectacular. Rain or shine, you will get the best of the best. Make no mistake, this is a barn venue but it is elevated elegance, and the beauty of the venue is that you can really create whatever you want with it. The two barns give space for flexibility and the lawn and orchard are beautiful and open for a tent or just for guests to gape at the beauty. One of the most unique and special aspects of Flanagan was that it allowed both of our families to stay together on the property. While this may not be everyone's first choice for their wedding weekend, we chose to bring both families (parents, siblings and their partners) together under one roof for three nights. It helped create a sense of true unity throughout the entire weekend. The night before the official celebrations began, we were able to use the gas grill on property to have a huge barbecue with everyone staying in the farmhouse, which was a great way to kick off the weekend. This aspect of the property was a huge draw for us and we did not find many others that allowed us to do that. If you have the privilege of planning your event with Mike and Essie, and at Flanagan Farm, you will not be disappointed. We hope to cross paths with them again soon!

What a beautiful venue for a wedding. I fell in love with the place the second we arrived there -- It was charming but had all the bells and whistles (like AC in the barn!) to form the makings for a picture-perfect wedding. The team at Flanagan Farm was so easy to work with and super responsive. If I had to do my wedding over again, the first thing I'd do is book Flanagan Farm again. One thing I didn't fully realize is that you have to bring everything in (silverware, tables, flowers, catering, etc.) so great for someone who wants to be hands-on or someone who has the budget to hire a full-package wedding planner. Also, we got lucky and had gorgeous September weather, but there isn't a great bad-weather-option should it rain, etc. Lastly, you can get a permit to extend the party to 1:00AM from the town of Buxton. A total game changer for those who don't want the fun to stop at 10PM like most venues!

We had our wedding here 3.5 years ago and it was magical. The space is beautiful and can truly be transformed in so many different ways into the wedding of your dreams. We wished we could have stayed longer! With the new ownership, we are excited to be able to return to the Farm for other events and reasons. Can't wait! <3

I could not recommend The Barn at Flanagan Farm more! From the first time we toured the venue, through the actual event, Mike, Essie, and Kate were there to answer any questions that we had and help make our day exactly how we pictured. Having the entire weekend at the farm was also super special. We were able to have our Welcome Drinks at the outdoor skating rink, and all our bridal party was able to stay at the Farmhouse which made logistics/ a generally stressful weekend even easier. The venue itself is gorgeous, but the staff are even better and make this an incredible spot. If we could do it again we would!

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience working with Essie and Mike! They are absolutely wonderful people, who work with you from even before you book to help make your dream wedding come to life. They are responsive and supportive, and they go above and beyond to support couples during every stage of wedding planning. In addition to working with an incredibly kind team, our favorite part of having our wedding at the Barn at Flanagan Farm was that we could make it ours. Each space (ceremony grove, small barn, big barn, farmhouse, fire pit) can be designed to match your vision, and the possibilities are endless! When my husband and I walked onto the property for our wedding weekend it genuinely felt like home to us, and there is no better feeling for the most special day of your lives. The property is timeless and naturally gorgeous, and our guests are still talking about how it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to over 6 months later! We are so thrilled to be part of the family at the Barn at Flanagan Farm, and feel so lucky that our wedding venue is a place you can return to for dinner and property events in the future. I promise you that booking one of the barns will be the best wedding decision you make!!

This is a spectacular location for a wedding! The owners were so easy to work with and very communicative which is a plus! The woman on site the weekend of the wedding was so wonderful, so pleasant and helpful she made everything better. The barn, grounds and home are so lovely and provided the perfect setting for our reception. Just be aware that you will need to rent everything to fill the space (ie: tables, chairs, linens, plates, tent if needed etc) so keep that in mind when considering cost. But it worked wonderfully well for our large group (200 people).

I deejayed a wedding here yesterday. The grounds are spectacular, the staff was super friendly and accommodating and overall it was a great success. I would highly recommend!

We had our wedding at the barn on November 26th. I had always dreamed of having a barn wedding and the Barn at Flanagan Farm surpassed all of my expectations. The farmhouse and barn were beautifully decorated and both Jean and Gail were so accommodating. Justin and I wouldn't have changed a single thing about our day! Thank you!

Just attended a wedding here that was outstanding. Every single bartender and server was polite, professional and attentive. The food and drinks were amazing. The vibe and decor was perfect. I was so impressed with the wedding and how the staff perfected everything!
