Flanigan's Boathouse

Food was great, service was fast and everything was right and she was very attentive. We even had our own TV in our booth so my husband could watch the Sixers game!! We will definitely be back!!

Everything about The Boathouse is top notch, starting with the beer, extending through the food, and service. By far, Boathouse is the best craft beer bar in the area for on-site and take out consumption, in my opinion. Be mindful. Some beers will put you on your ass. The food could put you on your ass as well. It is that good, starting with the wings. Personal flavor choices for wings are hot honey and garlic parm 😋 Finally, all employees are extremely pleasant and helpful, making Boathouse the place to be. Keep up the great work everyone!

The absolute best food and staff around! They are know for their wings so don’t miss out on those. So many TVs, it’s the perfect place to watch a game. We love the bottle shop Nextdoor for drinks to go too!

Smash burgers had absolutely no smash and waffle fries were cold. Truly disappointing. Flanigans is usually solid but I guess I ordered too early this time

EDIT*** after getting in contact with the restaurant, they offered their deepest apologies and took care of the issues and let me know they will reexamine how they check their food from now on. Thank you flannigans boathouse for your help. If you want bugs in your food, and not fully cooked burger (even though that is what you asked for), this is the place for you. This restaurant made me sick!

Flanigan’s has a nice beer selection and spirits. The food is decent. (UPDATE: Onion rings are good! My new favorite side with my wings). We went one night during their wings special. Wasn't the best experience. The wings weren't cooked fresh or made to order at all! However, went back a few months shortly after that experience. Made a request for how I wanted my wings cooked. MUCH BETTER! I've been back more frequently for the wings after that. The fries are really good too! Always hot and fresh when I ordered them. FB is a nice pub to hangout! But it can fill up fast if you plan on hanging out at the bar. The staff is attentive!

NEW TO THE AREA. And the reviews are correct. These wings are BOMB 🔥 good craft list, good vibes (music and staff!). The fish BLT is decent and the burger was HUGE. honestly, too big of portions for us. Yet, the reason why I’m giving five stars are the wings and kind staff. They even got the first round on us as a welcome to the area. Definitely recommend this place if you’re a wing/beer fanatic. 🙌🏽

Went there today after work, I saw a TikTok from Wing Man Karp reviewing the wings. This place is legit 6 mins from my work yard, but never knew it existed until now! Atmosphere was super chill, the bartender was incredibly sweet. I got a half boat of mild, half boat of garlic parm and an order of the smoked pork belly nachos to go. My wife and I would rate the wings 100/10. We love wings, these hands down, best we ever had! Very big wings, super crispy but insanely juicy! The flavors were spot on. I told her we will be doing takeout here a lot, if we can’t go there to enjoy in person! Atmosphere, beer on tap, the food and the incredible service, 10/10, I would recommend this place again and again. Even called a couple of my boys to tell them about the wings!

Love the Boathouse, have been visiting for over 30 years. I had an all American burger today and it was fantastic. 10 ounces of what I believe tasted like sirloin and delicious bacon accompanied by fresh hot fries. It was difficult not ordering wings but the burger and the Buffalo chicken salad hit the mark. Definitely recommend the burger or the wings with hot honey garlic sauce , the best. I also love the nachos !

If you look at my review history you will see that I'm pretty lenient on reviews, but I have to be honest when I have a less than at least mediocre experience. I went here on a Wednesday night with some friends around 6:55pm. Upon first entering, the place was packed so I knew there would be a wait. No problem. Both the Flyers and Sixers were playing so it's to be expected. The hostess told us 25-30 minutes. Not a problem. 35 minutes went by and I went to check on our status and she told us there were still 2 people ahead. Not great but ok. 50 minutes go by and I check again. Still 1 person ahead of us. We were finally sat after 60 minutes around 7:55pm. I'm sorry I know it's just an estimate but you cannot say it's going to be 25-30 minutes and it will ends up being 60 minutes. That's double the time. I don't have a problem with a 60 minute wait on a busy night but you need to make that clear up front. We probably would have went somewhere else if we had known that from the beginning. So already not off to a great start. We started with some appetizers (Wings, Nachos, and Cheesesteak Rolls). All of these were pretty good and this definitely where this place shines. Another pro is that they have a TV at every table so that's pretty cool. Unfortunately that's where the pro's to this restaurant end. I ordered the crab cake sandwich as my meal. I can say without a doubt that it was the worst crab cake I've ever had. It was extremely dry and overcooked. What's worse is that it was supposed to come with a spicy aioli which would have helped the dryness at least. That was nowhere to be seen on the sandwich. My friend ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. He was also was unsatisfied and stated it was dry. The menu stated it was supposed to come with slaw on it, but it was just shredded cabbage, there was no slaw to it. My other two friends ordered some more wings and that's definitely the route I wish I had gone. Lastly, our waitress didn't clear off anything on our table throughout our meal so we were having to play Tetris with the empty appetizer plates and our entrees. Overall I can't recommend this place for anything other than grabbing a pint and some wings while watching the game. Wait was too long, entrees were terrible, and waitress was inattentive.

It's a little more than your average beer store. The cashier was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the selection.

Overall a great spot for some beers and bar food! Pretty big place with lots of outdoor seating. We stopped in for dinner and some beers before going to the bars. Service was pretty good. She switched up our beers but wasn't an issue for us. The fries were very good.

We love the ambiance, the beer list and drinks are all fantastic. So 5 out of 5 for decor, private tv's at the table and overall esthetic. It went left when we ordered the wings. Eight wings was $13 and they looked more like chicken drumsticks. We ordered them extra crispy but they were not crispy due to the size and barely any sauce. The mussels were good and the garlic bread was fantastic.

We continue to be wowed by our meals here, it's our favorite restaurant in Conshy. And we eat here often! Great food, pleasant atmosphere and friendly attentive service.

Following a tournament game at the nearby Proving Grounds, we rolled in on Sunday evening. The weather being near perfect helped us enjoy a sizable table in a sidewalk chalet. Expectations are good pub type fare, and a couple IPAs. Flanigan's hits perfectly in that category. The wings really are worth an outing. The roast beef panini was a hit with the post game 15 yo who will take or leave fries, but these he commented on how good they are. Salads, chic Caesar and Buffalo chic both fresh and ample. Our server was a gem, friendly, attentive and kept us moving.

This was my first visit here, and I will definitely come back! When my friend and I sat outside, it felt like we were at the beach, because of how the seating was outside and just the vibes in general. Kaitlynn was our waitress, and she did a great job! She was funny and attentive, and did a great job of getting you to order more drinks! LOL! Their food and drink menu had many options to choose from and their portions were decently sized. I also love that they gave you a small bucket to put your trash in when you sit outside. Side note: They sell a lot of beer on the inside!

Boathouse is our first choice for local sports bar with great bar food, wide selection of beers and cocktails. I love the variety of beers on tap including lots of local beers. The bottle shop is very convenient and I did not realize they also have wine to purchase! I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and vegetable of the day. I was expecting canned green beans, no... these were super fresh, crisp and delicious. Not to mention garlicky. The burger with mushrooms and onions was delicious as well. Jillian was an excellent server. Very attentive.

The mediocre food seems to be fresh from the freezer. The team seemed a little goofy. Not sure who is running the place but improvement is needed. 30 year old decor could use a refresh. it seems to be stuck in a dusty time warp from the 90s.

Great food but limited healthy entrees.

The best wings around and the sweet potato fries with warm maple syrup for dipping are the perfect combination. The servers are super efficient and just so friendly. In one visit we had our 6 and 4 year old grandsons and they took them Over to the huge fish tank and even pulled a chair over so they could see. They go the extra mile for sure. A little noisy but hey- it's a sports bar

Food is great. Sports oriented bar, fun. Service is good... server very pleasant. We had the French dip.... Highly recommend.

Have tried this restaurant before and enjoyed the food so I decided to bring my friend who was visiting from Mexico. We ordered drinks and our server asked for our IDs where my friend presented her Mexican passport. The server said she could not accept it and went to talk to her manager where we were told that they wouldn't accept any form of ID if it was not from the US. To me this felt like a dumb and discriminatory policy to have so we left and we will not be returning because of it. A passport no matter from where is a legal form of ID!

I've been going to Flanigan's Boathouse since 1993 when I worked down the street in Conshohocken. It's now almost 30 years later, and I live in North Carolina, but when I'm in the area (at least once a year), I always make a trip to "The Boathouse." Back in the day, they used to sell a tuna steak sandwich that was absolutely huge, perfectly cooked, and surprisingly reasonably priced. It was my go to. That hasn't been around for a while, but that's ok. (Please bring back the tuna steak sandwich.) I ate there recently, and was really, really impressed with the food. I don't know if anything has changed in the past few years or not, but were the food has always been at least decent, on this last visit, it was noticeably better. The New England clam chowder was probably the best version of that I've ever had in a restaurant. That's a must have for me at any restaurant that sells it, and this once was spectacular. I'm getting that next time for sure, although I'd really like to try the French onion soup as well. For the first time, I tried their cheesesteak. Now, I can't get a good cheesesteak in North Carolina, and I know everyone in the Philly area either makes a good version of this sandwich, or they don't stay in business long. The Boathouse's version was everything I ever wanted in a cheesesteak. It's almost dauntingly large, on a perfect, chewy roll, with lots of tasty beef, onions, and cheese. So even though The Boathouse is a little piece of comfort food nostalgia for me, their food and service is really solid, and I plan on being a (semi) regular for the next 30 years.

One of the few restaurants open later on a Sunday night. Although it was late, the service was great. The fish and chips were delicious. A large serving of fish and the fries were hot. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it was more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant and there were lots of loud customers hollering at the bar.

Food and service was excellent! Took family there after a soccer tournament at the Proving Grounds (10 minutes away) and was blown away with the variety of beers on tap, then the server, and finally the manager. I highly recommend this for a quick drink or a casual bite to eat.

Excellent spot in Conshy. Bartenders are awesome. Outstanding beer selection. Food is very solid. And it is attached to a store with far and away the strongest beer selection I have found in this area.

Have been coming to the Boathouse for years - food is always good! Wings are amazing! Last night had my brother in laws 40th in the downstairs/basement room. They did a great job! Ample TV's for watching games, service was on point and all of the food was great! Their buff chick dip is awesome! Highly recommend!

The Nashville chicken sandwich I had was just okay. It is made with dark meat, which I'm not a fan of, neither the choice of bread (ciabatta). It was great portions which is a good value. I had enough to eat the next day! I was told the other food was good. I haven't tried enough items, so I wouldn't mind trying something different than what I got on my previous dine-in. The outdoor seating was neat with a tv affixed to the booth area!

Nice location, decor, staff and crowd. This is the mixed bunch you expect to find in CONCHEY! This restaurant has something for everyone especially if you are a sports fan. There are plenty TV's throughout and one in each booth. During the NFL season you can get Bud Light aluminum can $3 a pop. You can also order food and beer to go. I started with the French Onion Soup it was delicious, slightly salty but that could be from the plentiful amount of cheese. YUMMY! Next up the crab dip a great presentation but meh, nothing special! It was served with nicely crisp house made chips lightly dusted with old bay seasoning. You could taste the texture of the crab and it's slight flavor but it was mostly filler. Everything was average, no stand out items but I will definitely be back!

Great sports bar! Highly recommend coming here for a game. Service was fast and very friendly! My bf is obsessed with the wings here and ordered the sweet Thai chili flavor! We also ordered French onion soup and the chicken avocado wrap. I thought the wrap lacked flavor so I won't be ordering that again, but everything else was delicious!

Enjoyed our visit to the boathouse! Found this place here on Yelp and decided to try when we were staying in Conshohocken. Great local spot. Came for a few drinks and to watch the Phillies. There's a tv in each booth plus other big TV's. Good selection of beer and other drinks. Had a great time and will come back next time we're in town.

Excellent spot to catch your favorite team get embarrassed on national TV! Beer selection is top tier. Fiddlehead on tap? Yes please. Food is decent enough. Recently had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and can say that it's a pretty liberal take on the recipe. I think I'll stick to their wings from now on. The hot honey garlic sauce is incredible.

Don't let the previously unassuming entrance fool you, Boat House stands out as one of the best bars in the Philadelphia suburbs. They have done an amazing job of getting creative in light of COVID restrictions and the new outdoor setup is incredible. The booths have individual TVs and the larger tables are situated with a great view of big screen TVs. Once you make your way inside things are as great as they've ever been as the bar gives off a welcoming vibe for anything from a post-work happy hour to a kickball pregame. No matter where you sit you will be treated to great service, good beer, and better food. The staff are always attentive. The beer is constantly rotating to highlight local breweries and classic favorites. They do a great job of offering a menu for any taste without trying to stretch themselves too thin. Their wings are what keep people coming back but their specials are also worth stopping in for. Whether it is the tried and true favorites or the excitement of trying something new, Boat House is the definition of a one stop shop.

The blonde manager treated me as if I were a kid. Can't imagine I'm the only one. Other staff is very friendly however and it's a very cool place. I wish I got her name to leave here. Very disrespectful.

Huge portions, extensive beer menu. I had the fish and chips and it was outstanding. Their home made potato chips were incredible. I work nearby and will revisit often. Service was also great.

We came here for their Wing It Wednesday. It is a great deal, getting 10 wings with every pitcher of beer for $10, and for 10 wings for a bottle of wine for $20. The Boathouse definitely has some of the best wings in Conshohocken with some of the best flavors to choose from as well. It was a chilly night, so everyone at the table ordered the French Onion soup to start. It was delicious. It came with a couple of pieces of overly toasted bread with almost burnt pieces of garlic on it. It went along perfectly with the soup. I wish I had more. For the wings, we got Thai peanut and standard buffalo. Both were good, but I probably wouldn't order the Thai peanut again. I wasn't such a fan of the unique flavor. Looking forward to coming to more Wing It Wednesdays at Boathouse.

the manager of this place is absolutely a weirdo who lives a sad life. very very weird service, will never go back! we had an adult ( clearly an adult) and the manger refused to keep the party there to eat dinner since the adult did not have a " valid ID", even though the ID IS VALID. we went Nextdoor and it was fine. seemed like a power trip im sure she has problems so whatever but won't be returning.

This food is... fine. That's it. It's fine. The service was fine. I really don't know why anyone would go here UNLESS YOU WANT GIANT PLATES OF GENERIC FOOD YOU COULDN'T POSSIBLY FINISH. That's the best thing it has going for it. You can do better and you really should.

4 open tables and told us a 40 minute wait. (Outside) 2:30 on Sunday---Rudest hostess and wait staff. Told us have a drink at bar. Obviously did not want our business? When we said we would go somewhere that wanted our business, a worker by the name of Sun, replied "Have fun!" Seemed annoyed that we wanted to spend money here. Will not return.

I ordered the burger with sweet potato fries. I found the burger to be dry and too densely packed. The beef cut was to dense and grainy. The sweet potato fries (served interestingly with maple syrup) were slightly too limp. They lacked a proper crisp. Also, they tasted vaguely of garlic powder. I found this mildly offputting.

Sick place! TVs everywhere you can see. Good food. Best wings and chowder. Lotta juice for the big games. When I have to leave early, I stop next door and get a bunch of booze to go. I leave the wife at home, too many Conshy butts. Chiseled dudes too.

I Left my debit card there on Wednesday. While I understand the company policy of not letting you get it back without an Id. They took the policy way too far, I was will to provide a photo of my id and details about the card but the manager there caught an attitude on the phone and refused to provide the card. Will never be going back!

I loved the Boathouse when I was there to drink and do Wing-it Wednesdays with friends and I wasn't disappointed when I came back with my husband and toddler. The Boathouse is also a go-to when we're in the area with any other family! Over the last couple of decades, I've probably been here 25+ times and it's always consistent: the food is great and there's always a big selection of beer. Oh, and the wings are AMAZING! There are TVs all over (with sports on) and a couple of huge fish tanks. There is also nautical memorabilia all over. With all of that around, my little guy was thrilled! It was slow moving when we were trying to leave with his admiration of the mini ship replicas! Anyway, the Boathouse is a great experience to watch the game, eat good food, or even bring your kids. If we lived closer, we'd be there all the time!

Quick service, friendly staff. Drinks are affordable priced. Ordered burgers and they were decent. Nachos are very good.

Grabbed lunch here on a snowy weekend afternoon. The place was packed and warm - perfect spot to warm up and chill out on a cold winter day! Basic bar food and scene with drink specials daily. Menu isn't huge but has the standard bar food classics and a good list of salads and sandwiches. I got one of the daily specials - guacamole turkey burger with a side salad. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the burger with a delicious helping of guac. For $10.99 - I was completely stuffed and satisfied. There was also an app that you could download (spotluck) where you could score anywhere from 10-20% off your meal. Decent food and bar - would definitely make a trip back when in the area.

First time ever at this restaurant and unfortunately after COVID lockdowns, I'm still getting used to being around people. Translation, I'm was a difficult patron. The staff, and management were extremely accommodating and helpful. My party enjoyed the food and beverages under the PA night sky. The server was prompt and attentive even when I wasn't at my best. Any concerns I had were quickly addressed by management and staff. Looking forward to a future visit when I get back to the East Coast especially when I am more of myself. It was a memorable experience worth a second visit.

Cold Beer, Hot Wings, great bartenders, lousy expensive food. If you are going to hang out or watch a Philly team play a big game, this is the spot. If you want beer and wings, they have a hard working staff that will keep you from being thirsty. If you want dinner, well there are way better choices in Conshy. We recently had Fish n Chips and Crab Cakes, both entrees approaching $30 a piece. The Fish tasted like talapia, not Cod and the crab cakes were either imitation crab or something that tasted like fishy mush balls. We sent both plates back less than half eaten. Our server asked if we wanted it boxed. When we said no, she asked if we didn't like it. We told her, and she said she was sorry and brought us the bill. It's alright, just don't let the fish on the sign fool ya, this is a sports bar, and that's ok.

Nice bar scene I only had fries at the bar so I can't comment on the food Bar scene on a Thursday night was was hopping. Very crowded and loud. Football on the tv. Loud conversations etc. it was nice. The bartenders was pretty spot on. Attentive but not over the top. Drinks made well.

The Boathouse has an incredible and overwhelming menu, but you can't go wrong. It's all delicious! We have been ordering curbside the past few months, and service is efficient. This is our go-to spot for wings. They have a variety of flavors and sometimes they have fun specials (think peanut butter and jelly wings, which shockingly were delicious!!!). Favorite menu item: garlic Parmesan wings, well done

The food is always good. I never had a problem with the service. It's a good place to watch a game.
