Flash Hotel

Stayed here for a few days on a full board package. Rooms were nice and food was decent enough. Not the hugest choice of food but what's there is tasty and well worth it for what you pay. Only a couple of downsides- apart from breakfast you have to pay for any drinks you want at lunch/dinner (even water), and the glass on the balcony wasn't clean. Location is decent for the beach and the strip.

Rooms were a good size for 2 sharing. The fridge is tiny. Can barely fit a couple of bottles of water. The room didn't appear too dirty however the up keep while in the room wasn't great. We were there 5 day and I don't think the floor got cleaned once. The towels got changed and the bed got made but that was it. There wasn't a nice fresh hotel smell. A few other guests noted this also and they had been to the Flash previously with no complaints. Location was spot on if you want to be near lots of fab pubs, good food and the beach. A taxi to the old town was €6.

Me and my Partner and son stayed in the Flash for 4 nights (half board)|Good hotel and it’s right in the middle of everything, just over the road from Morgan’s tavern.. and a short walk to Uncle Peds Bar.|Good Points: lots of sun loungers .. nice pool .. clean room 9th floor (overlooking the Pool) fridge in the room was excellent and was welcome in the heat. |Safe in the room €3.50 per night + € 10 returnable deposit.|Food was adequate and the English breakfast was good.|Being able to choose from lunch or evening meal on a daily basis was a nice touch too .|Bad points:|You get charged for drinks including water in the restaurant on lunch and evening meal, very busy at all times in the restaurant and would be a idea to have time slots for eating so there is more room for everyone.|Pool bar seemed to charge different prices depending on who served you and weren’t rushing during “happy hour” so you were struggling to get the deal.|Room:|Air con was poor , and balcony was on a slope, “probably to help with cleaning “ but didn’t do my vertigo any good.|Pool entertainment staff , tried hard to get people involved who wanted too, but the lady was mainly on her own … when she was there.||I’d stay again , but not bother with the half board .

We found the hotel to be clean and the food was ok, we could always find something to eat, we were half board and took advantage of swapping dinner for lunch which was a nice touch. Room was clean and cleaned daily. Air conditioning wasn’t the best but manageable. Entertainment was intermittent around the pool, which didn’t bother us; but slightly annoyed to be asked several times a day to leave a review by the animation lady. Overall we would absolutely visit again.

Hotel was lovely food was lovely cleaners do a great job fresh towels everyday and very pleasant entertainment lady Christina was such a dote and brilliant at her job …faults with hotel my sister had a fall outside the hotel blood pouring everywhere and reception wasn’t helpful at all I had to wait for the chemist following morning to get plasters and creams I’d expect hotel staff to be more helpful as her cut was very bad over all our stay was lovely but I would not come back again over treatment towards my sisters injury

Absolutely amazing will definitely be comming back! We arrived around 12ish and check in wasn’t till 4 but we got early check in for €30 and got to pick our room. We were only expecting one double bed or 2 singles but they gave us 2 double beds which was great. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a balcony that has stunning city views. The room was sometimes a little bit noisy due to the bar downstairs but the noise stops at 12 and it never kept us awake at night. The staff were so lovely and accommodating and made us feel welcome. The food was great and had a wide selection at each meal time, the only issue was that drinks weren’t included with dinner so you do have to pay for those. The pool has a bar and drinks which were great prices for how big the meals were. The location is great and has so many markets around which are only a 5 minute walk away and the beach is the same distance, it’s right at the beginning of the strip as well which is great for nights out!

Came here have a drink ! With friends, the place looked lovely. Drinks were reasonably priced and above all else there was a good selection of drinks. There was a gentleman behind the bar and he was really friendly and attentive.

Having to ask for room to be cleaned. And for clean towels. When they did come to clean you couldn't tell they had been in. We was there for over a week only saw cleaners twice if that. Pool area was really good pool was lovely. Happy hour at pool bar was for just an hour. You pay a euro for each cup on your first drink so You had to make sure you took your plastic cups back or they would keep charging you a euro. Thats only when pool bar was open. They seemed to slow down to serve customers so not many people got served. Pool bar shut at 5pm but swimming pool didn't close till 8pm. Breakfast was spot on. But evening meal wasn't good not much to choose from. Staff very morngy and miserable. Location is spot on just shame about the hotel. Won't be staying there again.
