Flashpackers Noosa

Stopping off at Noosa? Come to Flashpackers! I stayed at Flashpackers for 4 weeks throughout December 2025, and based on my experience of staying in various hostels in Australia and other parts of the world - this is by far the best one I’ve been to, and totally recommend if you’re going to Noosa! Flashy’s has a relaxed atmosphere and a homely vibe to it which is quite comforting for backpackers who start to miss home while travelling! Though a small hostel, there are many indoor + outdoor common areas, where I found it easy to connect with other travellers. I stayed in multiple rooms, including the 4, 6 and 10 bed dorms, which were all clean and comfortable with enough ventilation and daylight (you don’t feel like you’re packed like sardines!) The hostel is conveniently located between Sunshine Beach and Noosa Junction, within a ~15 minute walking distance of the two. They also have a free shuttle bus that goes to Noosa Junction station and Main beach 6 and 4 times a day respectively - very helpful if you’re taking the greyhound The daily evening events were easily the highlight of my stay - though I was here for a while, I never got bored of them and would always look forward to attending and meeting new people! The only disadvantage is they don’t offer long-term rates during peak season, but nevertheless a great starting point you’re moving to the Noosa area. Staff are super helpful, but can be way too cliquey. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and sure you will too. Everyone I’ve spoken to there says that Flashy’s is a great one to go to :)

Second time my husband and I coming to Flashpackers, 4 years ago and this week. Both experiences exceed our expectations. It's a really great hostal. Everything is clean, rooms, bathromms, kitchen, pool, common areas, great service, all staff pretty friendly, all time you see staff working, cleaning. They offer free breakfast and also specials during the week, every day something different we could enjoy free pancakes for breackfast and nachos and sangria nigth!. We really love it! Thanks!

It is an amazing hostel. The staff are really friendly. Plenty of activities to socialise and meet people, specially when you are a solo traveller. The hostel is really clean. Beds are comfortable. They provide sheets and towel which is a plus. The pool is also very clean and good area to get some sunshine. Overall is 10/10. Had the pleasure to meet the General Manager, Jeremy which was very friendly and open for feedback.

We honestly loved this hostel, and it was one of the best places we stayed in Australia. The staff were so friendly and helpful on arrival and gave us some ideas on things we could do and places we could go. We stayed in a private room, which was small but had everything we needed. Each little area of the hostel has its own toilets and shower, so it felt like we had a private bathroom as we were only sharing with one other room. The Goki system worked well until it stopped working on my partners phone, but the staff quickly sorted this out. The hostel felt very chilled, and lots of people hang out in the communal area. The great thing about the hostel is the little things they put on for guests each evening. We were there for the movie night and the sausage sizzlers- I mean, who doesn't love some free food! The breakfast was a nice touch too. We ended up walking quite a lot but there is a shuttle if you want to head down to the junction or main beach area. We used the local bus too which is super cheap due to Queensland 50 cent bus fares! Noosa is a beautiful place to go, and this hostel just made our visit even better. Thank you!

Personally for me the sweetest hostel so far on the whole east coast. It had everything and was spotless. Free breakfast, curtains and they were the only ones in five hostels where they were able to accommodate my bottom bunk bed request. Also felt very secure due to the room key system. It worked well, and no one got in any weird rooms. Only minus point is that I wasn’t able to charge my phone with the adaptor above my head as the adaptor would switch the socket off .

Lovely little hostel, felt nice and laid back. Courtesy shuttle was amazing and got me to/from the bus and the beach! Bathrooms were clean and I always love when hostels have privacy curtains on the beds. Free breakfast was great too!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Really chilled out homey vibe and they have every facility you wish you could have. They provided free towels, straighteners and hairdryers in the girls room. Also the pictures don’t show this but all the beds have curtains which were really helpful for a bit of privacy! Also very clean bathrooms and kitchen area. They have a lot on as well! Free breakfast was a life saver. Also I will never forget spyder the absolute cutie loved to play with everyone and was so friendly! Really helped cure my homesickness and I was really missing my dog.

I had such a great stay at Flashpackers Noosa! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and create a really relaxed vibe. The whole place is clean and well looked after, which makes it feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The free breakfast is a nice touch (simple but perfect to start the day), and the free shuttle bus to the beaches and town is super convenient. I also loved the cozy setup, plenty of chill spaces to relax, meet people, or just enjoy the sunshine by the pool. Overall, it’s a homely, social, and well-run hostel with everything you need for a great stay in Noosa. Definitely recommend!
