Flatmountain Coffee Roasters has a great atmosphere and impressively fast service. Orders arrived incredibly quickly, and the space itself feels relaxed and welcoming. One thing to note is that you do need to go directly to the barista to place your order, rather than being served at the table.
Food-wise, it was a bit mixed. The bagel with dukkha egg and avo and the breakfast bun with bacon and avo were unfortunately the weakest dishes — the bread was overly sweet and didn’t work well with the filling. Overall, the bread across the dishes leaned too sweet, and the seasoning felt fairly generic.
The omelette itself was tasty and well cooked, but the portion of bread served alongside it was very small.
Where Flatmountain truly shines is the coffee. The coffees were outstanding — expertly made, well balanced, and absolutely worth the visit on their own.
While the food didn’t fully convince us, we’d happily return just for the excellent coffee and the quick, efficient service. ☕
