On the recommendation of our Roman friends, we came here for dinner – and what an excellent choice! The pasta carbonara was absolutely delicious, probably the best in the city. We enjoyed it with a wonderful Brunello and finished with a fantastic tiramisu. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even giving us some great tips about the wine list. The selection of wines is excellent and pairs perfectly with the dishes. An absolute must if you’re in Rome and want to experience the true flavors of Italian cuisine!

Tiramisu (7€) was really different from what I experienced before and it was amazing. Savoiardi was crispy interestingly and the taste was really good. I think tiramisu is essential to try here. Spritz (6€) was good as well. Also, the waiters were really kind. Thank you.

My wife and I were on vacation in Rome and did not want to eat at your run of the mill tourist trap restaurants. Instead I asked our Uber driver if he had any local areas where he would recommend getting dinner. He recommended Flavio al Velavevodetto. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the service was incredible. There Carbonara had perfect Al dente rigatoni with Guanciale that tasted like Chicharrón. The meatballs tasted as though they had just butchered the cow in the back. To complete the fabulous dinner, we got their apple cake and Tiramisu which were to die for. The staff was attentive and their recommendations of wine and the food was on point. Overall this was my favorite dinner experience of our trip. Will definitely be going back next time we visit.

Sitting outside is killing the vibe. Overall food was good, not great not bad. The only thing that was great was the fried artichoke 👍🏼 Also the tiramisu was recommended however it was below average with chococolate chips inside 🤔 nice but wont come again.

The place is cozy and lovely. My friend recommended this place for me so I gave it a try. The pastas were rich and flavorful, enough seasoning. The pate was really good too. However I don’t like the tiramisu that much. It wasn’t for me. Service was nice and friendly. Overall, it’s a lovely restaurant

This new branch from the original Flavio surely is full of itself, and the décor disguises the fact that this is an ordinary trattoria with straight-forward local home food - funky salads added. Desserts that fell like out of the wrapping, or chopped fruit. Delicious bread!

We (2 adults) went to this restaurant as recommended by a local lady we bought Tiramisu from her store. She said it's one of her favourite places to eat. It was also nearby our hotel, less than 15 minute walk. It was for a Wednesday evening and we made reservations a couple of hours before on their website. Lucky we did because it was quite busy inside and outside and they asked for reservations as well from you, otherwise it may be a slight wait. The server we had spoke English, which was nice. We sat outside because it was a beautiful evening and they also had heaters on for when it gets cool. Their menu is straightforward and had lots of good variety. Ordered the cheese plate to start with and my partner ordered the cacio e pepe and I got the matrciana pasta along with wine. They also had the bread basket, which was extra. The cheese plate was soo yum with different types of cheeses to eat and their jam. My partner loved their cacio e pepe and couldn't stop raving about it. My matriciana pasta was also good. All the plates were pretty decent portions and I took my pasta back because it was a lot. Would have loved to try their deserts, but we were too full. It was a lively place to be, from couples, friends, and families at their outdoor seating and indoor area. I would recommend trying, their prices also seemed decent and the servers were friendly and polite.

I went there with my family. Food was good and the wine list was also long. They have some vegetarian options. I ordered ravioli which was good but the portion size is quite big. Little expensive but it was worth to try. Staff was friendly but some of the staff could not understand English. Overall ok as a tourist 😊
