Went for a show, everything was great until I went to the bar. One young lady bartender and she was overwhelmed, I sat at the bar with cash in hand and was passed up numerous times to "regulars" who just walked up after me. Finally got my drink ordered, but she sat them at the other end and got distracted again by other customers. Another bartender finally walked up and put them back in the cooler so I just left. Was great till she was there.

If you’re a kooky weirdo like me, this place is PERFECT for you. Super great staff, great drinks, AWESOME prices, ANDDD the whole vibe is unlike any other I’ve ever experienced. If you’re a tourist, def come check this place out! You’ll never see a place quite like this and it was a privilege adding it to our trip out to Asheville ❤️😁

Awesome atmosphere and really cool bar. One of the bartenders was very rude and incredibly condescending towards me several times throughout the night. The shorter skinny blonde haired girl with glasses. Got shitty with me when I inquired about why there was $15 hold on my card after buying a single $3 beer. Also started belittling members of an out of town band when they were only attempting to set up some gear on the stage. Not sure what the continuous attitude was for but she definitely needs to go work somewhere NOT around people. I’m sure the bar will respond to this review in a negative fashion instead of taking the criticisms and adjusting from there.

What a gem of a place! We wandered in here for a drink and absolutely loved the eclectic atmosphere. One of the owners, Mary, was working the bar and was such a joy to chat with and hear her stories.

This place is judgmental as hell, came in because my engine blew in my car and was stuck in Asheville till the next day, asked to charge my phone if I bought a few drinks (which they allowed). Stay for 4 hrs and bought 5 drinks but was asked to leave because I "used the bathroom 3 times in 4hrs and had a backpack" I guess they assume l was homeless of something because of the packpack even though I spent 50 dollars and tipped more than 20. Avoid at all costs. The bartenders are trash. They appear to seem open and accepting but I guess if I don't have tattoos or weird hair and strays are in there, never will come again. Found a better bar down the street and having a great time

I almost never write reviews, but I think this is important for anyone to read if they are considering doing business with this place. I arrived here with a friend of mine some weeks ago because we saw that they had a party going on. They charged $15 for each of us as a cover at the door, and we walked in. However, within 5 minutes (and no more than 5 minutes) we realised that the music was not our style… a little hardcore, which is fine, but we didn’t realise this before we had paid. Since we had just entered a moment before, we decided to go back out and ask if we could have our money back. I explained very nicely to the owner (Mary) that we had just entered and realised that the music wasn’t for us and apologised for the inconvenience (the doorman also confirmed with her that we had just entered a couple minutes before) and if it were possible to have our money back. She gave me a look with so much (honestly, I can say this:) disgust, shaking her head and said, „NO. Absolutely not. It is UNHEARD of that you come over here and request this. NOBODY does this. This money is for the BAND and you’re wanting to take that away from them??? UNHEARD of.“ And wanted me to leave immediately. I had explained that for my friend and I $30 was a lot as we are both students, and reminded her that we were only inside for a couple minutes. She refused and continued repeating those words and wanting me to leave… I felt absolutely terrible. I had realised that this was actually one of the meanest encounters I had actually ever experienced with a woman; from the way she looked at me, talked to me, and treated me. She treated me honestly as if I were not worth a single cent of her time and gave me such a look of hatred and disgust that I can’t even describe. It was very obvious that money was more important to her than being kind or even being respectful to another human being. She could have declined my offer in a respectful manner, and I would have accepted it, but that is absolutely not what happened. I left the place shaking with shock and my friend and I felt terrible.

Love this spot! They host events all the time and have really cultivated a beautiful community. Had my wedding there in December 2024 and it was perfect! So down to earth, and I definitely go back as often as I can!!

How bizarre, a quote from a song, and it sums up this cool little bar. We went to pop up vintage market. If it wasn’t for the vintage event we would not have visited. I am so happy we did. It is different in a good way. The barkeep, is a pleasant young lady, who will cheerfully serve you. If you are in the area, make sure you stop in. Also if you are into vintage, check out their pop up market.

Have visited twice, once for live music and once just to hang out. Low-key and friendly place with a retro vibe. Good drinks; good prices. Good mix of ages, too.

You will never find a better local venue for music and drinks because Fleetwoods also has vintage clothes, records, and more! AND you can married there! They are some of West Asheville's finest people. Great curators of kitsch and treasure in all their endeavors. You must pay a visit to this amazing place!

I don't know. Drove out of my way to come here while out of town. Their website and google says they open at 11. THATS A LIE. they only updated their facebook that shows they open at 2. So glad my grandma knows the correct hours but for the rest of the age group you're targeting you should keep your stuff up to date for people who were more than willing to drop money. Unknown if I'll go back.

Love the spot so much great place to take pictures the drinks were tasty and a very eclectic collection of interesting artifacts! My only negative comment is that y'all charged me for three beers that my friends already paid for but what the hell I'm gonna make a little money somehow right? That would not keep me from going back and getting my three free beers ha ha Ha ha ha!!!:-)

Super cool bar located in the heart of West Asheville. This place is a dive bar, small and cozy with loud music, booths to sit at and a coffin to snuggle up in for photos.

Small, quaint bar on the west side of Asheville. They only serve beer and wine. A cute area that sells vintage clothing, etc is within the bar. We went there on Sunday, 1/20 to see a comedian by the name of Krish Mohan. His show was in an area off of the main bar. I believe it can be used for weddings, receptions, parties. The comedian's show was advertised as a comedic take on looking outside of your bubble. It started out funny and progressed to a very left sided lecture on the progressive bubble. Interesting he stayed in his "progressive" bubble for the rest of the show. Some of his "facts" weren't correct. I got out of his show that he definitely needs to get his grandma out of new Jersey.

Fleetwoods is a local's treasure! I am at this bar/venue a couple of times a month to check out my favorite local bands. They are always super supportive of the local underground rock music scene. The owners are a lovely couple that are very active in their business and are generally there every time I go in which is nice (and rare) to see in Asheville businesses. They truly care about the well-being of their business and its patrons. The bar is beer and wine/champagne only which I actually really like. They always have fun speciality drinks going on that are delicious. Fleetwoods is not only a bar/music venue, but also a wedding chapel and vintage shop! The staff are always friendly and the bartenders quickly become your friends. It has a very homey atmosphere. One of my all-time favorite local spots to hang out at. Highly recommend!

Such a fun and funky place to hangout, grab a great drink, and catch a show! Who knows, you might just find something to wear for the evening out while you're there... ! :)

Small selection of cheap beer, nothing wrong with that but nothing to write home about either. Small selection of cool/funky/trendy vintage clothes, 2 minutes and you've seen it all. Apparently they also do live music, weddings (?), comedy, food trucks, movies, and swap meets too. I don't get what they're going for, don't think they do either.

Saw the most disgusting comedy show at this seedy horrid little venue last night while in Asheville. John Conroy was the headliner and he was terrible - nothing funny about his act- grotesque. The second "homeless" guy in expensive shoes and nice clothes was deranged and vulgar and possibly truly psychotic with his talk of murder, but not at all funny. The host and opener was the best of the trio but still not funny at all. Warning all to stay away from this horrible waste of your time in Asheville. Two hours of time we'll never get back. And the venue itself is definitely not worth a visit.

Great little spot to go get married or just have a beer and find some cool vintage treasures.
