Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Noordsee-Ameland

I’ve been going to Ameland for about 18 years now and I’ve always stayed at this hotel. It’s just great. Nice staff, everything’s always clean and nice, and the location is just perfect. It’s right next to a big public park, very close to the beach and very close to the Nes city centre. The Breakfast is good for a hotel, food tastes fresh and there is always plenty of choice. The staff here is very kind and easy going. The Hotel and surroundings are VERY child friendly. The park has multiple playgrounds and the hotel has a small playground as well.

A lovely hotel, elevated by its wonderful staff. Their warmth, kindness and attention made all the difference in our stay. Mrs Parwane, Flavia and Lucia, willing to walk an extra mile to help the guests.

Excellent restaurant. I am surprised because it has some mixed reviews. We had Delicious meals. Pleasant atmosphere and fast service.

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Mornings began with a lovely breakfast—beautifully presented, fresh, and with plenty of delicious options to suit all tastes. It was the perfect way to start each day. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. We were made to feel like royalty from the moment we arrived. A special mention goes to Ron, who truly knows the meaning of hospitality. His warm welcome, thoughtful attention to detail, and genuine care for guests made all the difference. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The entire experience was relaxed, elegant, and filled with little touches that made us feel special. We’ll definitely be coming back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and heartfelt stay.

The hotel is very good situated in the middle of the island and near vergood restaurants. Unfortunately most af the staf don't speak Dutch, a suggestion for the hotelmanager is to offer a few lessons in Dutch and how to use the hotel systems so there won't be any difficulty in the service. Also this island is fantastic to visit bij (E)bike the hotel doesn't have enough sockets to load the bike.

I stayed in this hotel for a week. First of all, the light brown hair girl who was at the reception the first day was not very friendly, she was looking at her cell phone and didn't pay attention to us, she just asked us if we needed anything without even looking at us, but then another very nice brunette girl came to help us, and she was really nice with us. The rooms are old but they were very clean, the housekeeping team is very attentive and friendly, they helped us with everything we needed, always with a smile, we were very happy with those from the Canary Islands. About breakfast, it was good, but every day it was the same, the staff also seemed very friendly and always willing to help. In short, the quality of the hotel is not the best but the employees make it look better than it is. (Except for the blonde girl at reception who didn't pay attention to us until the brunette girl arrived).

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Room was a good size with a balcony and the bathroom was modern & clean with plenty of towels & toiletries. No air conditioning in the room but there was a decent fan - each room has its own balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. The quality of the food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast had lots of choice and the food was tasty. The hotel is a 10 mins walk to the beach & 10 mins walk into town so it’s a great location. There’s a pool, sauna & bike hire at the hotel. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to family & friends.
