Flickorna Helin

I came across this wonderful place, whilst taking a stroll through djurgården. And i made a good choice in coming here, as the food was superb. I had the chilli con carne, which was perfectly done. With a lovely cream cake and a matcha late. The service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was wonderful, very cosy inside with lovely decor.

If there's one best coffee shop I'd visit in Stockholm, it would be this one. The service was absolutely wonderful, and the coffee was served to the sounds of birds. They were right there with us the whole time; I felt like I was flying with them, so happy. They have amazing dishes and homemade sweets. The carrot cake is one of the most delicious cakes; it's definitely worth trying.

A truly lovely place. The building is beautiful, seems rather old. I entered from the terrace, then I went down the stairs on the right to get inside the building, on the lower floor. There, I found a small bar where you can order your cakes and beverage. I was served kindly and fast. Then you may take your stuff back to the upper terrace where you can enjoy it with a view on the park and the water. The atmosphere is very nice, romantic and authentic. I haven't tried the lunch menu, but looking at the available options seems inviting.

We had a lovely lunch here. Really good menu with lots of variation and choice. The food was very tasty and the portions were a good size! The outside space has wonderful charm. The service was good and there was an English menu and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place, it is worth walking a bit further round the island to visit!

I got to Skansen early so I decided to check out this little bakery cafe and I’m so glad I did! It appears to be in an old manor or castle or something. It was very cool There was no one inside when I got there and it appeared to have just opened. I got a cappuccino and blueberry pastry and both were delicious! They had a great looking lunch menu so I would probably come back to try this place for a larger meal. Don’t miss if when you’re visiting the museums.

I had a delicious pate and pickles sandwich and a beer. The garden is beautiful, with a view of the nearby park. The staff was friendly and helpful. And I felt like a Disney princess, with a whole flock of little birds coming over to enjoy the crumbs after I finished eating!

So busy, but so cosy with a roaring open fire. Nicely decorated for the festive season too. The staff were really accommodating, moving tables around for each new guest. The food was rustic and basic, but really tasty. The meatballs were the softest I ate in Sweden. It is located outside the Skansen protected zone and therefore you do not need to pay to access it.

A perfect hide away from the tourist buses for lunch after seeing the Vasa and Skansen. Food was fresh and the service was kind. A four on service only cause it was walkup not table. The outdoor seating was great on a wonderful late summer day in Stockholm. Amazing food for such a quaint place.

Got a tip from a friend who went to Stockholm a few months back, when it was still snowing. Today was maybe one of the first days you could sit outside. We had a delicious lunch in the sun and it we had some room left we would have tried all the kaka (cookies and cakes) that were there. Ideal summer lunchspot!

Delicious cakes and pastries, beautiful patio for relaxing, and friendly hospitality. Don't leave your sweets unattended because the birds are relentless! But definitely recommend if you're in the area.

A very nice café that by-passers tend to miss when visiting Djurgården. This particular cafe is located right next to Skansen, but to get here you have to turn left right before the Zoo to actually see it. The house and the interior design of the place is just my taste, a little old fashion and super cozy. The counter is filled with sweets, but they do also offer simple lunches such as many different sort of salads and sandwiches. The staff is also very friendly and if this cafe was anywhere close to where I lived I would most probably be a regular customer. The best time of the year to visit Flickorna Helin & Voltaire is during the summer when their outdoor dining is opened. To have a nice lunch here while enjoying the birds chirping and the sun shining is just lovely.

Very nice summer lunch spot sitting out on the large patio which is elevated above the street level. You get some nice views from here and it is right by the water. Good sandwiches and prices are reasonable for Djurgarden. Only negative is the tea and coffe is usually a bit lukewarm and not hot enough. Not open in the evenings,I believe.

Really nice cafe on Djurgården. Great food, coffee and very clean. The owners clearly have a good eye and attention to detail - very cosy and stylish place. Service is good (which is rare in Stockholm).

Cozy, very nice service, and good food or fika. Dog friendly, but I'd not bring a large dog in during winter, since it's usually full of people and not much space to begin with. Recommended break when walking around Djurgården!

THE BEST SWEETS I have found anywhere in Stockholm!! So delicious! Our entire big walking group stops here every Friday morning when we finished. It's hard not to order a dessert when you see them all on display at the ordering counter. I think tomorrow I will go back later in the day with my husband and daughter and try a sandwich. Meringues are delicious here. There is carrot cake that the staff all says is the best. Lemon meringue dessert is the most popular ordered. Plum cake, cardamom cheesecake, brownies, several to choose from. The cardamom & cinnamon rolls are so moist and sticky unlike so many other places where they are too dry. This places does them best!!
