This park's must-see sights include beautiful Admirals Arch, shaped by the powerful Southern Ocean. This is a great place for spotting long-nosed fur seals & sculptured granite boulders known as the Remarkable Rocks. 'Remarkable' really is the best way to describe this noteworthy sight. Formed 500 million years ago by rain, wind and the pounding seas, the collection of granite boulders. Goannas, koalas, eagles, kangaroos and echidnas are regularly spotted in the park.
Flinders Chase National Park is recovering naturally following the 2019 - 20 summer bushfires, which burnt 96% of the park. Bushfires have played an integral part in shaping the ecology of the Australian landscape for millions of years. Many native plant species are adapted to survive, regenerate & thrive after fire with a lot of the park regaining its green woodland and eucalypt forest.
