I am very upset about the service here. I arrived at the official check-in time but was told to wait because the water system was not working and would not be available until 7:00 p.m. I waited patiently about 15 minutes before I was allowed to check in.
When I checked in, I was told that a friend who came with me was not allowed to go up to the room, even though I booked a private room. I understand this is a rule, but there is no elevator and I had several heavy bags. Since the staff did not help me, they should have allowed my friend to help me carry my luggage up to the 4th floor.
At check-out, I was 10–15 minutes late. The staff spoke to me rudely and demanded that I pay a fine of about NT$350, telling me not to do it again. I admit that I was late, but when I had to wait during check-in because of their service problem, the only response I received was, “I will take note of that,” with no apology at all.
This experience could have been handled much better. The staff’s attitude was disappointing, and because of this, I will not stay here again. There are some good things about this place, but the service is not one of them. I hope the management will improve their customer service.
