Food was good, but the service was extremely disappointing. We were a group of four, and the waitress insisted that she could only seat two of us at the bar and two at a separate table. When we asked why we couldn’t sit together outside, especially since the weather was clear, she said they wouldn’t have anywhere to move us “if it rains,” even though the forecast showed no rain. Her tone throughout the conversation was rude and dismissive. Later, when we had finished eating and were quietly talking, she came over and rushed us out, saying other people were waiting for seats. We came here for a nice meal, but the attitude and lack of courtesy from this waitress really ruined the experience. Good food doesn’t make up for poor customer service.

My bf and I live around the corner and finally tried this place. They close at 4 we got there around 2:45. There was a good amount of covered outdoor seating which worked for us, the inside had a bartop and seemed like limited tables, maybe 3. We shared the flippers original soufflé pancake a side of x crispy bacon and eggs Benedict. It took about 15 mins (as expected) and worth the wait. The texture was amazing and the maple cream was so good. It wasn’t too sweet and we both agreed it didn’t need extra syrup which was provided on table. I also got the “springtime” mimosa ($13) which was supposed to be peach but it tasted like a regular mimosa to me. The service was attentive maybe a little rushed as they were breaking down to close but understandable. Though they did seat a 6 top around 3:45 so maybe they aren’t too strict on that. They seem to have an issue with flies as they were literally flying everywhere but they have some fans on tables to help with that. We will be back for the soufflé pancake but likely won’t order cocktails.

Flippers is great! Went on a Saturday morning around peak brunch time and we didn’t even have to wait for a table & food came out quickly. Price is a tiny bit high but it’s a unique trendy food and it’s LA so not unexpected. Definitely recommend!

Loving me my LA! Just catting (enjoying) being back in my happy place! Plus I found the perfect Sunday Brunch spot in my WeHo neighborhood and enjoying it with my super sis @djrere over Soufflé Pancakes, Sunday Sunshine, wonderful vibes and a lovely super service team @flippers on Fairfax! #aminajaguar #djproducer #eventproduction #lightitup #sundaybrunch #losangeles

Brunch Burrito / eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, salsa, cheese, tortilla with truffle fries - 5⭐! My last review mentioned how a bright yellow storefront lured me in and the exact same thing happened with Flipper's. I had my eye on them for a while because they really stand out with their colorful and inviting bright yellow style. Recently, I had a chance to stop by and see if the menu matched the decor. It is also worth noting that a keen and creative eye for design went into this lovely breakfast/brunch spot. Everything looked great, the seating, the menu, the kitchen - and the yellow theme was well thought out and inviting. The menu is a blend of Japanese/American brunch. If you ever run across a souffle pancake, it started in Japan. I was torn between trying out the souffle pancakes but ultimately settled on their brunch burrito (breakfast burrito). One of my food kryptonites is a hearty breakfast burrito. And wow, was this one spectacular! It was stuffed to the very limits of the tortilla and packed with flavor. Everything was cooked expertly. I had to slow myself down and savor it because as soon as I took my first bite, I was ready to scarf the entire thing. It came with three sauces that I forgot to ask what they are. One was a fancy ketchup and all three were excellent. It came with a side and I chose truffle fries. Their truffle fries were well balanced. The server was great. Very friendly guy who talked me through my burrito versus pancake dilemma. I'm glad he encouraged me to try the burrito. It was awesome. They have a small parking lot they share with a few other businesses but honestly, street parking in this area of Fairfax shouldn't be a problem. I'm going to head back and try out the pillow sized souffle pancakes.

Google
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Flippers. The staff were super friendly, even giving all of the loving and treats to my dog on the patio. They were super attentive to us as well the entire time. Wonderful service in a wonderful atmosphere! We ordered the Chicken & Waffle, and Eggs Benedict, along with two Cold Brews. The dishes were beautiful, generously portioned, and delicious. I loved the strawberry butter and maple cream that came with the Chicken & Waffle, and the pancakes under the Eggs Benedict were delightful, light and fluffy. This is a solid place. Don’t discount it. Prices were decent for the area as well. Parking is a little bit of a pain, but worth it. Definitely add this place to your list of Brunch locations!

Google
Great good and good drinks. The must have on the menus is soufflé pancakes omg it’s out of this world. I had the egg omelette and it was great especially the breakfast potatoes. The chicken and waffle were really good as well. The service was very good as well our waiter was sweet and had good knowledge of the menu. Meow meow

Google
I visited this restaurant with my sister, who’s a big fan of soufflé pancakes. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The signature feature of a soufflé pancake is its airy, puffy texture—but what we were served was flat and poorly shaped, as if it had been rushed out of the kitchen. To make matters worse, they informed us they had run out of blueberries, which were supposed to come with the dish. If key ingredients are unavailable, the item shouldn’t be offered at full price—especially when it's nearly $20 per plate. I also ordered the Croque Madame, which turned out to be a basic sandwich with a sunny-side-up egg on top. There was nothing memorable or unique about it. What really bothered me was that I was the first to order the soufflé pancakes, but the table next to us—who ordered after us—received the same dish with two blueberries. That inconsistency was frustrating. As for the drinks, they were equally underwhelming. My matcha latte tasted like plain milk with a bit of matcha powder mixed in—definitely not worth the $7 price tag. I could easily make a better version at home. We didn’t receive much attention from the staff, even after raising our concerns. When I brought up the issues, I was told they had new kitchen staff and a new barista still in training. While I understand that training takes time, it’s not fair to charge full price for a subpar experience during that period. In total, we paid nearly $70 for two dishes and two drinks—far from worth it. I won’t be returning. If you're simply curious to try a trendy spot and don't mind paying $20 for a mediocre dish, then maybe give it a shot. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Yelp
We sat outside in the patio as the restaurant is on the smaller side. I missed the soufflé pancakes in Japan and these were soooo yummy 10/10 for sure! I literally ate everything on my plate! The cream is just enough sweetener for the pancakes no syrup needed! Fresh fruit and tadaaaa! My sister n-law had the egg Benedict and she dates it as 10/10. A hot pot of tea and cold coffee to the order and done deal! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend to park around the area and walk as there is limited parking space in the restaurant. We went after the whole morning rush so it was nice and sunny not too crowded. A must try for sure!!!

Yelp
Absolute charmer. Wonderful variety and tastes are found at Flipper's. We thought to come in for the lemon-ricotta pancakes, but ended up going in a different direction. How Hollywood. Technically, this is West Hollywood, but wherever you map it, Flipper's is definitely worth visiting. The mushroom spinach cheese omelette has many ways to customize: pick a protein plus a few other options, and you're set. The lox was a slight upcharge, but man, they loaded it up nicely. This is one packed, flavorful omelet. Recommend the home fries, too (or choose salad). Homefries have a bit of a kick: they are cubed, not greasy, and a great complement to the omelette. Sourdough toast to round things out. A ton of food for $18. Note on the coffee: Bottomless, and really good. I swear there were maple syrup notes to the black coffee. How pompous to say, fine. Still, that flavor was subtle (maybe even subliminal), and had a special quality to it. Also tried the Chicken and Waffles. Big win. The dark meat is moist and covered in a crispy breaded layer that is delicious and very easy to eat. Love the maple butter syrup, and the house special: whipped strawberry butter. I thought both of those additions (served on the side) would be too much for me, but I really liked them both. If that doesn't suit, you, each table has its own regular maple syrup. A ton of food for $20. The waffles are served kind of soft - almost cakey. Though flavorful, I prefer a bit of a crunch to my waffles, but no complaints. And, since I took home almost half of my order, they got some crunch when warmed in the toaster. For scientific purposes, we tried an order of their soufflé pancakes. Officially, Flipper's Pancake. Lovely, eggy, light and a tad sweet. Yum. Though there are many other varieties available (such as Fresh Fruit or Macha et al), I wanted to get a baseline first - and it was delicious. The whipped cream served with is a cozy complement that is so good. They fall apart easily (use the recommended two-fork method). Service was great. Outside is preferable as you're far enough from the street, and the air is good. Inside seems a bit loud, and it bit too cozy. Nice tunes playing on the patio, just loud enough to still have a conversation. A handful of parking spots off Fairfax on premises. Or, street parking. So happy to find Flipper's! 4.5 Stars.

Yelp
My impression of the soufflé style pancakes is that they are quite eggy. Nonetheless, I'm happy to bring guests around to get the experience of trying it. The patio is very quaint and cute, but can lend itself to privacy. Ideal. Finally a place that serves a reasonable quantity of bacon as a side! The servers came around at good intervals.

Yelp
The best soufflé pancakes outside of Japan! Such an excellent breakfast spot -- it's well worth the drive to Fairfax from LAX. You can't beat the flavor and consistency of these pancakes. The restaurant has a bright yellow theme, with both indoor and outdoor seating, makes the whole experience feel cheerful and lively. Service can be a bit slow since the pancakes take about 20 minutes to prepare, but they're absolutely worth the wait!

Yelp
I loved the outdoor seating, I could see how this place might be a popular place for brunch! We came right when they opened around 8:30 am on a Saturday. We walked right in and we were the first ones. It got busy closer to 10 am by the time we left. The food was great too, picturesque of course. Only some of their pancakes were available in the soufflé style btw! Our lovely server was really sweet, we went on the morning of 10/18/26! She was great :)

Yelp
Could be better- 2 stars for service because we were the only ones in the restaurant. Felt like we were an inconvenience. Had to wave them down for attention. Chicken & waffles: there was a hair on the waffle. I didn't say anything because the three workers were standing around chatting, so I moved it aside. Chicken was crispy. Croque madam: pesto chicken with the bechy sauce was good. We had a the side of fries that were truffle "oil" but you could barely taste the truffle. Very underwhelming. It comes with a side of mayo and ketchup. Flipper pancakes: they were delightful, super fluffy but took 45 min to come out. My first time here and wasn't left with a good impression. I would hesitate to come back.

Yelp
Such a unique spot for brunch - one that serves up souffle pancakes! I don't think I've ever had souffle pancakes before and they were as advertised - super fluffy and tasty. I didn't follow the directions on how to eat them because well... you just stuff your face with fluffy pancakes. They say it can take 20 minutes for your pancakes to come out but since everyone is ordering them, it felt like it came pretty quickly. We also got an order of the chicken & waffles and thought it was alright. The chicken looked better than it tasted. It appears to be super crispy but after taking a bite, the chicken wasn't as juicy as I hoped it would be. Most seating is outdoors, which is fine for a brunch spot in LA that has sunshine essentially year-round. Parking can be hit or miss but if you aren't able to snag one of the few spots out front, there is street parking available.

Yelp
There was a little bit of a wait which is to be expected in LA on the weekend but it was only about 15 minutes. We got the most perfect fluffy pancakes! The food came out really quickly too.

Yelp
We went on Saturday around 11 AM for a brunch after running a 5K so we were absolutely starving!! Here is what we ordered: Chicken and Waffles: 8.5/10 I loved the butter spread it came with, such a nice complement to the waffles! My only thing was that the chicken was lukewarm, so it made me think that it's been sitting there for a while before being brought out. Other than that, everything else was great. Hashbrowns: 10/10 SO GOOD. Perfectly crispy, no complaints. Eggs Benedict: 9/10 We got the bacon and it paired SO WELL with the pancake at the bottom. I would absolutely order this again! All portions sizes were hefty and well reflected the price for it being West LA. I've had this spot bookmarked for a while so I'm super glad to have tried it. Street parking and there's a little parking lot, but it was filled when we came.

Yelp
This was our first and last time at this place . We ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon . Salmon was not fresh at all. Be careful on ordering salmon . Orange juice was concentrated not even squeezed. The price for two people for having this breakfast is $65. Not worth it . P.S I have to be honest that the second order they did not charged us.

Yelp
We came on a week day and there was only 1 couple dining, 10 minutes later another couple came in after us. We waited for 20 - 25 mins and our food wasn't served, so we asked how much longer, the other couple that showed up after us was served food first. Our food was luke warm, the salad didn't taste washed. You could taste the egg in the soufflé pancakes and the lemonade was too sweet for our liking.

Yelp
Came here around 10 AM on Saturday and we thought there would be a line because we've only been to flippers in Tokyo. I guess people have not caught on.. we split a number of different dishes. Chicken and waffles, the fruit soufflé waffles, and the blueberry ricotta pancake pancakes also added a poached egg and hashbrowns. Try it a bit of everything and enjoyed all of it. The eggs were perfect. Hashbrowns were just fair. They were sort of like the Trader Joe's hashbrowns. Fine . The pancakes were absolutely delicious and as good as it gets for soufflé pancakes, and the ricotta pancakes were likewise yummy. The waffle maker went on the fritz after we had been there so we had to have pancakes with the chicken. the white part of the chicken was too dry, but the dark part was perfect and I really did enjoy that bite. Really good seasoning on the chicken . Service was a bit slow, but it wasn't the fault of the waitress who had the whole outside area. I guess somebody was late coming to work. She truly did her best and tipped her accordingly. A great experience for three and polling everyone we said that we would all come back.

Yelp
A friend of mine invited me to brunch and they chose so well! Flippers was such a pleasant surprise of THE fluffiest soufflé pancakes. So light in sweetness but in the best way possible. It paired well with the sweet and tart berries. You only need a very light drizzle of syrup. Service was very friendly and attentive. Indoor and outdoor seating. The place is a bit small but very cute and lively! Highly recommend.

Yelp
We got here pretty much when they opened on a weekend, no wait and no problem finding parking. I got the mocha, which was amazing, some eggs and their soufflé pancakes, honestly the best breakfast we had in LA. Inside area is small, but a decent amount of seating outside. Service was prompt.
google avatar

Angel L.

Yelp
How unfortunate, I love this place and always rave about it to my friends because I really do love their soufflé pancakes, so fluffy and yummy. However like many people here have mentioned the service is bad, like made me uncomfortable honestly, and it was slow over all. All the workers felt like they would be anywhere rather than at work which is fair but like not the energy you want on a Sunday brunch. Just left such a bad taste in my mouth, not sure if I'll come back again but yes the food is good, I just hope they up their service.
google avatar

Yelp
Service is SLOW!! The food is good but hopefully you don't have something to do afterwards.

Yelp
I had brunch with a friend at Flipper's on the 4th. We got in at a good time, too - by the time we left, there were people waiting to be seated Our server was lovely, and the ambiance was sunny and cheerful. Yellow has a lovely way of perking up one's spirits I ordered the Croque Madame, which has pesto chicken instead of ham, and with a perfect sunny side up. Delicious! My friend got the chocolate banana pancakes and they were as delicious as they were pretty

Yelp
Fluffy pancakes, what more can I say! Visited Flipper's for the first time in Tokyo and was excited to find out they have an LA location. We came for breakfast (right when they opened) so had no problem getting seated right away. We also parked in the small lot in front (free) - there's only a few spots so we were lucky. We had the fruit pancakes which came with a healthy dollop of fresh whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. 5/5 For the savory option, we tried the eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with fluffy pancakes instead of English muffins! 4/5 While this flipper's location still offers a tasty meal, it is a bit on the pricer side (definitely not Japan prices.) fluffy pancakes range from $17-$19 and the eggs Benedict was $21.

Yelp
What a great way to kick off our birthday weekend! We had this place bookmarked for a while and it did not disappoint. First, the ambience--SUPER CUTE! Second, the fluffy pancakes! Super soft like a soufflé that melted in my mouth with every single bite. So so good. We also shared an omelette with a side of potatoes and their portions are huge which was just perfect for us to share both savory and sweet dishes. Loved everything about this place. Quick note: They have a very small parking lot which fills up fairly quickly. Parking in this area can be a bit challenging especially since some spaces are permits only so be very careful and read the signs before leaving your car. If you drive around the block you can find metered parking. Happy eating!
google avatar

Keila K.

Yelp
Lots of outdoor seating and staff was very friendly. The cream on the pancakes were good and not too sweet. The pancakes itself were not as soft as others and had an "eggy" aftertaste. I understand how the soufflé pancakes are made, but was not impressed for the price. The price was a little pricy for the quality, but they had other menu items that looked interesting. We came on a weekend with a group of 3 and a dog at lunch time and did not have to wait. There is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant, but expect to find street parking instead. Their outdoor seating is large dog friendly and they offer water to the dogs as well.

Yelp
Chill vibe, great food, love the yellow color of interior/exterior design. Found milk tea in the menu as well, will come to try different drinks next time!

Yelp
I had to leave home with no breakfast the other day. After the event I attended, I wanted something delicious and decadent to eat, and I made the right choice by picking Flipper's! I am an older (but extremely cool lol) lady, and "back in the day" as us original Punk Rockers of Los Angeles say, meaning in the late 1970's/early 1980's, we used to go to a place called Flipper on La Cienega to dance on roller skates as bands played in the center of the rink. It was so much fun, so I wanted check this place out due to the similar name. Of course it bears no resemblance to the place I remember, though the font of the logo looks quite like that one. But let's get to the FOOD! I ate so many delicious things - I was in HOG heaven haha! I'm attaching a photo so that you can see that a) I ate A LOT and b) the food was beautifully presented, and freshly made. More importantly, it was SO YUMMY! I think the souffle cakes (their specialty) are a great idea, and my choice of the ones with fruit didn't disappoint. This usually also comes with strawberries, but I can't eat them so they were kind enough to adjust things to my preferences. I love to eat pancakes with syrup, bacon and fried eggs over medium - so that's what I did there and everything was prepared exactly as I asked them to do it. The fruit was fresh and tasty and the plate came with a large amount of whipped maple cream which was truly TO DIE FOR! I had to eat every last drop. Let me just add the disclaimer that I, again, had not eaten a thing that day - lest you think I am totally disgusting. AND I didn't need to eat again! I want to point out, finally, that the service was excellent. I unfortunately can't remember the name of my server, but he took great care of me and believe me, I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true (see my other reviews ;). This is not an every day type of place for me, but a really good choice for someone visiting from out of town or a special craving like I had. As an FYI, I was there around 2:30 pm. They were closing while I was there but very polite about it - I didn't feel rushed until the very end but it was understandable - I'd met some people and we were talking away and in their way. They were still very kind and considerate about it. I hope it will stay in business for quite a long time - I'm really glad I found it!

Yelp
Came here on a sunny Sunday afternoon and was immediately attended to by a server, so having no wait is a huge plus. After ordering, the food only took around 10 minutes to arrive. Another plus! Then I tried their matcha pancake and those pluses grew exponentially by 5! So at this point, with variable x = Flippers, the experience I had with the restaurant with those three conditions can be summarized by the equation of (x * 2) ^ 5, peer reviews desired. I also had the Green Tea Cheese Foam and Flipper's "Burger". The Green Tea Cheese Foam was a little too bitter for me, but I really ordered it because I wanted the cheese foam, so it wasn't exactly a disappointment since the cheese foam was, in fact, cheesin'. The Flipper's "Burger" was okay. The main protein was fried chicken, and it was a little bit bland to me and lacking the crunch that I normally expect from fried chicken. I added the quotation marks around burger because when did we start calling chicken sandwiches burgers? Isn't it only a burger if beef is the main protein? Anything else and it's just a sandwich, right? Right?! That being said, the Green Tea Cheese Foam and the "Burger" is probably not something I'd order again. But the Matcha pancake...that Matcha pancake was heavenly. It was so fluffy I thought I was eating a cloud. You know how the cuckoo bird from the Cocoa Puffs commercials is like when he gets a taste of the cereal? Yeah, that was me. Spinning eyes, hallucinations, all that jazz. The red bean paste and matcha cream made it even better. Felt like I was in another dimension eating that pancake. Or maybe I was just having a trip from a spiked pancake? Unlikely. Then again I've never done drugs so I wouldn't know what it's like. To wrap it all up, if you have to get anything from here, definitely get the Matcha Pancake.

Yelp
Loved this place! I had bookmarked Flippers since it came to Fairfax and finally had an opportunity to do brunch on a sunny Saturday in January. Mind you, the parking lot is micro and only fits a few cars, so be prepared to look for street parking. Even close to the lunch hour, my boyfriend and I were seated immediately having the choice of a table inside (it's too crowded being so close to the serving counter) or dine al fresco, which we opted to under the heaters. Take your sunglasses, it's bright! But that's the vibe on beautiful, sunny days. Our waiter was great and brought us the classic flippers pancakes to start -- it's their signature dish, and a must! We gobbled it down - so light and fluffy, you can practically inhale it! Next, we had our delicious entrees which didn't disappoint. Mine being the two eggs any style being the very heart chicken and waffle! Theres so much to try here, it's worth coming back to the patio here and we will!

Yelp
The service is good and the food is consistent we love the Pancakes! The outdoor dining area is great to enjoy the Cali weather. This is out go to since we are close by.

Yelp
My first time, my kids went recently to one in Japan. They said the food is equally great in both places. I tried the Fruit soufflé, it was tasty and amazing. The "Bene" was awesome. The best dish I think was the Strawberry pancake. All dishes should be shared IMO. Eating one type of dish might be a lot for one person, plus I love sharing. The breakfast sausage was meh, reminder me of frozen Costco, just air fried. The coffee was pretty bad also, luke warm at best. IMO McDonald's has a better brewed coffee. Majority of the seating is outside, come prepared. Only one bathroom. Clean restaurant. Good wait staff. Fried chicken was okay, was better with dipping sauce. I can only imagine the normal parking anxiety. We went early on Sunday before churches let out.

Yelp
Ok, here's my confession. I live walking distance to this spot and have heard so many great things but am only now trying it. No idea what took me so long because it's legit! The first win for me is the menu options. You've got me at chicken and waffles plus soufflé pancakes. The cream that comes with those should be an entree. The chicken and waffles portion is nothing less but hefty. I was surprised to get not one, not two but three fried thighs! Yum! If only other places could deal like this. There tends to be a line on weekend mornings but nothing that should stop you. They have indoor and outdoor seating but there's something energetic about sitting under their bright yellow umbrellas. Really just screams WeHo.

Yelp
We went on a Saturday mid morning, so it was very busy. We waited for about 10 minutes before we got seated. I got the Strawberry pancake, my daughter got the Caramel Banana chocolate pancake, and my husband got the Croque Madame. Of course we had to get sides of eggs, hash browns , sausage and bacon! Everything was delicious! No wonder people flock to this place. The pancakes were so fluffy, soft and yummy! This is definitely the bee's knees!

Yelp
Flipper's is officially my new favorite brunch spot! The restaurant itself is spacious, with most of its seating outdoors, making it perfect for soaking up the LA sunshine. Inside, the seating is limited but cozy. Now, let's talk about the food & drinks--they're incredible! I started with an iced caramel latte, and it was so good! It had a unique flavor that really stood out. The soufflé pancakes were cooked to perfection: light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. They practically melt in your mouth! I also tried the hashbrown patties, and wow, they did not disappoint. I'm a French fry lover, but there's something truly special about their hashbrowns--crispy, flavorful, and just amazing. We also tried the chicken and waffles which were also pretty yummy! As I looked around the restaurant, I noticed there was not a single food item that didn't look appetizing, and that's saying a lot! Service is fast and friendly. Parking is limited in the parking lot but you are sure to find a meter on the street. Flipper's is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
We have been customers of this cafe since the very first day they opened, and over the time we have brought many of our friends and family here. Unfortunately, it just keeps getting worse every time we visit. The service is unfriendly, and the manager never smiles and too nervous. Recently, I reserved a table over the phone, but when I arrived at the scheduled time, the manager said she didn't know about the reservation because she hadn't been working on the day I called. Seriously? The tables are dirty and broken, the chairs are dirty as well. The menus you don't even want to touch it with grease on it and dirty. Don't wear white clothes if you're going to visit them!!! The pancake portions keep getting smaller and smaller, and today they were pale and undercooked. They used to serve a great cappuccino, but today what we got was just milk foam. Sadly, when cool place like this becomes so ugly and unprofessional. We don't want to come back here anymore, unfortunately.

Yelp
I've got to tell you...I underestimated Flippers. I said "what else can you do to pancakes?"...apparently a lot. This souffle business is no joke... I went on a random Monday so there was no wait but I anticipate this place is booked and busy because the food is THAT good. My friend and I decided to split a pancake and a savory dish and wanted to try a souffle pancake because it's a specialty and where else are you going to get it? We were worried about something like the caramel banana chocolate being too heavy so we went with the fresh fruit pancake and HOLY COW. It was light and sweet without being too overpowering. Syrup wasn't necessary because the maple cream does the job perfectly. I was hooked after the first bite and can't wait to go back and try another combo. Mind blown by souffle pancakes. We also got the eggs Benedict, they allowed us to mix flavors so we got one salmon and one ham and they were done so very well. Perfectly cooked egg, delicious hollandaise and it didn't register that it came on their pancake until after we got it (it says so on the menu though, we can't read) and it was such a nice surprise. The whole dish worked extremely well together. Absolutely no complaints. The food was spectacular and came out quickly. We also got a side of hashbrowns and avocado which complimented our dishes, plus coffee and a passion fruit green tea. With this we spent around $40 each which is pretty good to me. Service was great, no complaints and the vibe was great with an awesome 2000s throwback playlist. 5 stars, definitely going back. LOVED it.

Yelp
First time here and I was so excited for breakfast. Hashbrown were crispy , pancakes were super fluffy , eggs Benedict's were very amazing. The chicken and waffles were the best I've ever had. The chicken wasn't over breaded , and not dripping with oil . The waffle itself completed everything . The service was great and fast . And I did like how clean the restaurant was.

Yelp
Everything was delicious. We joined the waitlist and were seated immediately upon arrival. There's ample patio seating and limited indoor seating. Our server was attentive and food came out timely. 5 stars Soufflé pancakes-fluffy and soft with a generous amount of whipped cream. 5 stars Chicken and Waffles-juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside with just the right amount of flavor. Bonus caramel syrup. 5 stars-breakfast burrito bursting with flavor. 5 stars-2 eggs with choice of smoked salmon, salad, avocado, hash brown, and juicy cherry tomatoes. Worth the wait.

Yelp
A good place to hang out from breakfast or brunch. Mostly outside seatings. They have about 5 parking spots (front of the restaurant) and the rest are meter street parkings. The truffle fries was the highlight for me. I had the breakfast burrito, it was above average. My friends tried the cocktail, it was on the bitter side. We ordered the Matcha Fluffy Pancakes and the Caramel Banana Fluffy Pancakes to share. It was a okay for us, a bit on the dense side. Not as good as "Grxm" place in 626.

Yelp
Our group of 5 joined the waitlist early and had a bit of trouble finding parking so we got there around 45 minutes after joining. We were seated after a 15 minute wait and the server apologized for the wait as they thought it'd be a shorter wait but the table we were waiting for was socializing after eating. Service was wonderful, fun and helpful. I did not use the bathroom but one of my party did and they mentioned it was very clean. The souffle pancakes were the main reason we came and they definitely satisfied our cravings. We shared four dishes amongst five people so that we could continue our food tour without being overly full. Dishes: Strawberry souffle pancake, berry souffle pancakes, chicken and waffle, maple butter souffle pancake. The chicken and waffle was paired well with the caramel syrup and strawberry butter. The chicken was crispy and waffles were flavorful. 8/10. The strawberry souffle pancake cream tasted a bit like strawberry jam and cream, it was good but the dish was a bit underwhelming with 2 pancakes, a layer of strawberry halves and some cream. 6/10. The mixed berry souffle pancakes were good and worth the extra $1 compared to the strawberry one-- it came with three pancakes and lots of fruit + some cream. The pancakes themselves were light and fluffy with an eggy taste. 8/10. The maple butter souffle pancakes were my favorite as I really enjoyed the maple butter cream, paired with the three pancakes. 9/10. Overall, I'd definitely come back again if I am craving the souffle pancakes! It was a nice and trendy spot for brunch with both outdoor and indoor seating + very friendly easygoing staff.

Yelp
I liked being able to sit outside on a gorgeous day and they have nice bright decor. The food was not bad but also not great. The soufflé pancakes are okay. The strawberry one is much better than the caramel banana one, but both are just okay. The eggs Benedict was really basic as well, and I thought the lettuce on there was an interesting choice. Our server was very friendly though!

Yelp
With the bright yellow background of this new restaurant, you will find it inviting with fun patio seating. You've never had a pancake that made you feel this light! The food is delicious and we had no problem cleaning our plates. Service is a bit slow.

Yelp
Flipper's is one my FAVORITE breakfast spots to go to. I discovered them a little over a year ago and any chance I get to go, i'm GOING! they serve the popular Japanese style pancakes and every time i order them i inhale them unapologetically (they are so freaking good)! this time i ordered the hash browns (which in my opinion are waaaaay better than McDonald's hash browns and yes i said what I SAID); i ordered the eggs and cheese ( was not a fan... they didn't have cheddar cheese so i tried pepper jack, no thank you!); and my brother got the maple butter pancakes and if he could have licked the plate he would've lol! the service is quick and friendly of all the times i've went. it's usually hot as hell outside but the seating outside is comfortable and peaceful (except for the flies but hey it is outdoors so duh). i leave feeling stuffed and satisfied and it's worth every penny. until next time :)! 10/10 would definitely recommend

Yelp
Solid brunch place. I had ordered the soufflé strawberry pancakes and they were decent. They were tasty but I probably wouldn't order them again. My friend had ordered the chicken and waffles and that tasted much better. The chicken was seasoned really well and had a good batter. Those two dishes also costed about the same and you get much more food with the chicken and waffles. If I were to come back I would honestly order that and split it with a friend. The cocktails were tasty. I had the yuzu mojito and it was good. I also tried the honey lemonade and that was very good as well.

Yelp
I had fluffy a soufflé fruit pancake dish. Very filling. Dad's eggs Benedict with Ham was delicious. It's on the fluffy pancake so extra special. Lovely nice weekday lunch ambiance. Great service. The tables were all wobbly which is uncomfortable and the parking is questionable. Hot tip: if you can only block a car, it's ok cause it's probably employees car but if not, someone will ask you to move and not tow you. I'll do that next time.

Yelp
This is second after Roscoes to pop up for WeHo chicken and waffles. Hm. I'm sorry to be blunt but...their pancakes are good, I'll say that. WeHo can't fry chicken. The waffles are just passable. If I ever see this menu item that's automatically my order. I figured as much from West Hollywood. Plenty of food though. The strawberry butter was the best part. It's just dry and bland, not seasoned and needing more grease or flavor or just something. The pancakes didn't take long to come out and those were fluffy and eggy and great. Stick to the namesake and you won't be disappointed. These are WeHo prices so apologies but can't in all honesty give five stars. Cute spot though. Bonus points for dog friendly waiter. Good luck with that parking lot, I would park in the hood if I were you.

Yelp
The food was DELICIOUS! Good portion sizes and really tasty. It is a small parking lot and smallish tables, so just be prepared on a busy day

Yelp
Came here over the weekend with a group of 6. We had called a couple weeks ahead of time to make a reservation, however when we arrived, the host told us they didn't have the reservation. They chalked it up to the person that took our reservation never writing it down. We ended up having to wait 30+ minutes for a table and received no apology from management for the mix up. Our server was great though. Very kind and attentive. The food and drinks came out decently quick. I ordered the double cheeseburger. It was good, but nothing amazing. Just a classic burger. Our table also ordered a couple soufflé pancakes, they were a bit flat when they came out and were nothing outstanding. I would say there's nothing wrong with the food, but there's plenty of better brunch, burgers and pancake places around.

Yelp
Second visit was a vast improvement mostly based on our ordering. We got the Pancakes and Chicken and Waffles which were must more up to par with expectations.

Yelp
Finally I got to try Flipper's since I did not have a chance to go when I was in Japan! Cute store front with bright yellow umbrellas you won't miss it. Amid the heat wave in L.A with limited A.C at Flippers, we started our brunch by ordering yummy Expresso Martinis and ice water to hydrate. The food was worth sweating for! We got the Chicken and Waffle and Soufflé Pancake with Fresh Fruit. Chicken was a bit try that day but the breading and seasoning were good. Both waffle and soufflé pancake were divine! Light and fluffy. The fresh cream was not overly sweet, it paired so well with the fluffy pancake! I would go back on a cooler day and enjoy the cute outdoor seating.

Yelp
Brunch Burrito / eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, salsa, cheese, tortilla with truffle fries - 5!

Yelp
Food was delicious but the drinks sucked, dont get the boba drinks or matcha. Both tasted super watery. We mainly came for the fluffy pancakes and they were delicious!
