On August 11, 2025, we booked a trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with FlixBus, expecting the same quality we had previously enjoyed in Europe: clean, modern, comfortable buses with basic amenities. Instead, our original bus was canceled last minute. We were moved to another departure, only to discover it was operated by Greyhound—on an old, dirty, uncomfortable bus that had nothing to do with what we booked and paid for. When I raised the issue with FlixBus, their only response was repeated empty apologies—no real accountability, no willingness to issue a refund for a service that was never delivered. 📌 Anyone considering FlixBus in the U.S. should be aware: your trip may actually be with Greyhound, at a much lower standard than what FlixBus promises.

Great concept, easy online ordering, until they change your departure time 72 hrs before your trip! Their customer service was worthless. Conflicting texts saying later departure. Email saying original departure. Which was accurate??? How can you change departure time after selling tickets for a posted schedule??? Ruined my evening plans with my son because of his late arrival. Also, paid for an assigned seat but no one adheres to this. It’s a joke. Do not recommend

Worst experience ever!! I received a text message saying the bus will be delayed by 115 minutes. They choose this amount of time because if they say it's 120 minutes, they have to give you a refund. But even then, the bus still won't show up on time. This is a horrible company. I spent a ton of time trying to get a refund and they just will not do it. Buy lottery tickets instead, do you have a greater chance of winning

Flix bus is always a go to. I travel on this bus so much. I’ve had Mr. Johnson as a driver 3 times. Man this dude rocks. Polite but Stern, there never is a dull moment with this guy. 1 of the best drivers in the Arizona and California area. Thank you Flix Bus for hiring incredible people…..

I requested a refund recently due to missing my bus via a ride share, arriving late to my destination. I notified Flix Customer service, via the website and had documents supporting my travel intenery , and also showed where I rebooked another ticket. Because I had a commitment the next day, and Flix representative Stated that I had checked in for the travel destination. I being a Solo traveler stated that's not possible and why would I Purchase a ticket from the same Location to the same destination twice ? I received a run around from representative about a 15 minute cancellation policy and yet they apparently allowed someone else to use my identity to board using no identification card or proof of my identity which I started amounts to identity theft and Robbery. And they are assists to a Crime for allowing the individual to steal my ticket my seat and the cost of the ticket. I'm livid and will never do business with Flix again my Review is Actually a Minus Zero below the 1 Star review. Due to privacy concerns I do not wish to share documents on here. However I'm seeking other Avenues to let the buyer be aware

Worst bus company ever! I got my confirmation email for the date and time but turns out it wasn't correct and it was for DAYS prior even though the email confirmation was correct on date and time. I called customer service to change it and they refused and I was told "its your fault since you booked it." I asked to speak to a supervisor and he refused to transfer me saying "they won't do anything for you since we all have the same information." I also tried to get a refund and they refused re-telling me that its my fault even though I have the email confirming I booked the correct time and date. I will NEVER use this bus company again even if its free.

There are many under-served routes all over Cali where the benefit of having the route served by anything is better than the status quo. Enter. Flix bus - a bus line that is loved and hated for the same thing: its importance. PS. Notice the logo uses ALL CAPS, which makes FLIXBUS look like FUXBUS. Checks out.

These guys are compleatly horrible, its cold outside and the bus was a sauna i would hate to be in this bus during summer just hell no. They drop you at a rest stop for 20 minutes so you have to run around, only just have time to find food and a toilet or they leave you behind. On our trip from Las Vegas they actually left one person at the stop. Plus leg room is a joke never seen anything like it. If you can afford a few extra $ its worth it.
