On August 11, 2025, we booked a trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with FlixBus, expecting the same quality we had previously enjoyed in Europe: clean, modern, comfortable buses with basic amenities.
Instead, our original bus was canceled last minute. We were moved to another departure, only to discover it was operated by Greyhound—on an old, dirty, uncomfortable bus that had nothing to do with what we booked and paid for.
When I raised the issue with FlixBus, their only response was repeated empty apologies—no real accountability, no willingness to issue a refund for a service that was never delivered.
📌 Anyone considering FlixBus in the U.S. should be aware: your trip may actually be with Greyhound, at a much lower standard than what FlixBus promises.
