I was pleasantly surprised at the available options. I design & stage homes. The best thing about Floor 13 is the staff: helpful, courteous & even allowed me to come on when usually closed. I have purchased a great mid century modern dresser I placed in walk-in closet as a statement piece. I also scored on 3 sets of wrought iron & wood shelves I placed in a pantry for the wow factor. My most recent purchase was a black 47” round table I used to allow a very large kitchen to become a great gathering place. This table was very affordable & allowed the project to be below budget. Highly recommend coming here with open mind.

This place is wonderful!!! What a great collection. Tim was so kind and helped us find a beautiful couch - I would definitely recommend Floor 13 for unique furniture and art.

Google
Beautiful place curated in such a fun eclectic way by the very talented staff. I'm the summer is extremely hot inside. They offer you cold water and popsicles. Amazing. Sometimes if you find a piece, they may have more of the same piece so make sure you ask

Big selection of unique and vintage furniture and art pieces. All quality and prices seem fair. If you love fun and funky furniture and art, this is your place!

Google
Wonderfully strange, or strangely wonderful, this place is as much an art museum as an antique shop, not to mention a backstage storage unit for just about every architectural world that has ever been conceived by human imagination. It’s also hilarious. There are entertaining jokes in every direction, if you know how to look for them. The prices range from predictably high all the way down to almost free. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clever. Visiting this store is like entering a dream.

I TOTALLY dig this place. Everybody and end, from the retro to the bizarre. Something for everyone. Well done with the display of everything!

I bought a couple of items at Floor 13 to be delivered. The two guys that delivered it were soooo gorgeous, I think I'll be shopping there on a regular basis.

Yelp
If you're an avid MCM treasure hunter like me, you go to new cities looking for the non-typical antique shop that caters to our obsession with the 60's and 70's gems. In New Orleans, make the jaunt to Mid-City and find Floor 13 on Hennessey. Great items and a superb staff. I was greeted by the stunning and energetic Riley, the petite blond girl with the ear-to-ear smile, who politely wandered with me down my rambling path of mid-century factoids and questions. I'll go back many times while I'm living down here for work. I think you'll find it a unique and rewarding experience. If nothing else, you'll get to meet Riley if you're lucky!

Yelp
I got a response from one of the business owners, they said they would be happy to work with me on price, that they price things accordingly, yadda yadda. Let's elaborate in my first review: this place isn't climate controlled. It's hot and humid af in there in the summer and cold in the winter (when we have winter temps). How can we trust to buy something from this type of environment at the ASTRONOMICAL prices they have and trust it won't have mold or mildew or any rot because of the climate conditions? I mean seriously. I get that they price accordingly to the age and value of said pieces, sure. But this saint a show room. This is set up like a pretty thrift / consignment store. This isn't a mid century modern show room where you expect to pay top dollar. If y'all want to charge these prices then you should do better at preserving them and refunding them. Also the short one of the duo is EXTREMELY rude and bullying. I have witnessed her bully customers and employees at a couple estate sales to purchase pieces to mark WAY up at this store. Not a good business model and not a good human. Do with this what you will but my advise is to not shop here. Also, Hollis, your response came off as condescending.

Yelp
We wandered around a few times and found some great things. Some of the prices were insanely over priced so you have to check the price as you are making a buying decision. Some of the prices were quite reasonable.

Yelp
A MUST shopping experience in New Orleans! Unlike any other vintage furniture store I've ever been to - it's whimsical and surreal with a wide selection of inventory to fit any style. Great customer service - Alexis was fantastic. Floor 13 will always hold a special place in my heart!

Yelp
Just when I thought I'd hit all the funky, unique, eclectic home furnishing stores in NOLA, Floor 13 hit my radar. Such a fun shopping experience. Loaded with everything from one-of-a-kind pieces, to hundreds of the same thing (from the Ritz-Carlton, perhaps), some of which is waiting for a paint job to make it one-of-a-kind. Lamps, artwork, rugs, desks, chairs, couches, tables, beds, nightstands, knickknacks, pillows, taxidermy pieces & more. Reasonably priced. Clean and well organized. Super friendly service. Planned to stop by for a few minutes to look for something specific. Left hours later with a few other things.

Yelp
Of course, the location hasn't been on Canal in a while and they are rebranding themselves as Floor 13. I've been in this shop at its various locations and it definitely can have some interesting stock. Mostly they get furniture when big businesses are refreshing. So the quality can be great to not so good. Earlier this year they got a ton of furniture from a local high end hotel and so they had a bajillion incidental chairs, beds and other furniture. They also get lamps and TVs. It's a great spot to get some decent items at a lower cost. If it's hot outside, this is a metal warehouse so it will be hot inside. But there is a section of select items that is cooler. Since it's been chilly the last few days, I imagine the reverse is true right now.

Yelp
This place is fun fun fun! Previously used furniture with SO much potential. I grew up in the Era of wooden furniture, no plastic or partical board. The "big brown furniture" or "grandma" furniture of yesteryear has an entirely new look today. Big, burly, etc may not be everyone's cup of tea, but with fresh vibrant colors you can create a wonderland. The customer service is top notch.

Tee P.

Yelp
I love Floor 13! They have lots of great new & unique furniture, and the staff is wonderful!

Di S.

Yelp
Awesome deals and variety of quality preowned furniture! This place is so unique, they paint items to your liking and the staff is very helpful! Lots of items from hotels-solid pieces, and art too-you can furnish a whole bedroom for under $300-easy! Great for college students! But also great for interior decorators as they have a myriad of designer pieces - lamps and art from the top hotels like the Ritz! And what a find for the DIYers! From chalk painting to lampshade making- you have lots at your fingertips!

Yelp
Buyer beware: If you plan on purchasing from them, take 360 degree photos of the item before you pay for it and the shipping. Just received my armoire with a huge scratch across the front that was not there before the delivery. The way the furniture was positioned hid a hotel sign that was stuck on with double-sided tape. To remove it will lift the stain on the wood. Called about it and spoke to Nicole (Nikki?) who was rude when I purchased it and even worse over the phone. She claims it was there when I bought it. Minor scratches from a used furniture store are okay, but a huge gash across the front- no. Now I'm stuck with a damaged item.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
If you're in the market for musty, used hotel furniture from a style-challenged bygone era, this is totally your place. They've got all kinds of stuff - beds, desks, chairs, office furniture, giant ashtrays like the ones you used to see outside a hotel elevator - and there's so much crammed into this warehouse that it's literally piled to the ceiling. I can't really speak to the prices, because I didn't look closely enough to find out how much anything cost. For furniture that will be used for a set, or a porch couch, or something along those lines, this might be a good option. Or maybe if you're looking to start a bonfire or something. Otherwise, I think you might be better off going to a thrift store like Bridge House.

Yelp
I love shopping but I live for the hunt of finding new and unique places that go that give me a thrill. This establishment is AWSOME SAUCE!! I was treated as soon as I walked in and the options are endless. I have recommended this thrift store to many of my friends and family and multiple people are now forever customers. The only problem is it can be really hot and it moves to a warehouse that makes finding items slightly more difficult. Besides that, it is still a wonderful place to go. Remember you can negotiate prices and the even refurbish items for you! That sure makes you job easier. You don't have to ask the old husband of your to actually finish a project ( the never finish projects. There is probably one sitting In The yard as we speak). I say try it out and give new life to something old . Oh I epaulet like to add this is one of the items that I bought form them over 4 years ago and she is still going strong!

Yelp
I have a new fave breakfast meal! Who knew? Scrambled eggs smothered and covered at the Waffle Hiuse in Front St in Conway, Arkansas! Hey, when I walked in at 0410 it looked like a hurricane had just hit the place! A loud party had indeed just come through but staff quickly worked to clean without complaint, served me a delicious breakfast. I'm a happy boy.

Sean P.

Yelp
Lisa and Linda were great, all the feel of a small family owned business all the low price of a big box store I'd recommend checking here before you buy any furniture

Cindy B.

Yelp
What a unique place. Got a Hilton alarm clock I've always admired. There are lots of different things in there. If you are into re-covering furniture and painting, you can get a real deal. Need a spare bedroom or little den, you can pick items up. Nice to walk through and browse.

Yelp
It's huge, and it's dingy- maybe moldy- but if you're willing to work with it, it'll work for you. I've picked up a few pieces of furniture for the home- all of which Ive taken home, ripped apart, made interesting, and put it back together. It works. I haggled a hideous coffee table set for $40, a little spray paint and decopage, and we're in business. The stuffs a little funky, but its most hotel grade, so if you're willing to put the work in to make it unique, then its good solid furniture for pretty cheap, esp if you haggle and befriend the owner.

Yelp
I love this place. New to New Orleans, an unfurnished shotgun and found 2 armchairs, a side table, a covered bench, pillows on different trips. It's easy to just wander in, walk and browse what's there. No pressure. Sometimes the prices are marked, sometimes they aren't. Sometimes they seem super reasonable, other times less reasonable but the staff are great and worked with me on the prices very fairly. Grateful to have found it. I need a lamp and side tables and will go back!!! I just enjoy it, too.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!! Staff is very very helpful. I have been here time and time again to buy furniture, and lucked out every time! Tip: ask to go in the attic, it's mostly duplicates of furniture downstairs, but I have really hit the jackpot with a dresser and old school table!

Yelp
HUGE warehouse full of used and some new furniture. A lot of interesting stuff! Dining tables, sofas, chairs, ottomans, coffee and end tables, lamps, framed pictures, some original art and a few antiques. Most of the furniture is a bit worn but a few things are in perfect condition. The prices are somewhat high IMO. A little lower prices and I would have pulled out my wallet. Despite that, will be back to check them out and see if they have something I can't live without.
google avatar

Gabrielle R.

Yelp
My favorite furniture store in town! These guys are cheaper than anywhere else in terms of used hotel furniture. They're friendly and helpful but never pushy. The place is a Huge maze of strange used treasure. Their stock changes often, and they carry kitchen and dish ware, art, office giant rugs and antique pieces, as well as furniture of every stripe.

Debbie L.

Yelp
The fact that this place had a fire, but the owner along with friends and supporters moved forward and rebuilt is amazing. The place is filled to the brim with treasures and if you like a great deal - you will find it here. Charm and sophistication. Dedicated staff with a great eye. Wish them all the best of luck for the future.

Yelp
This place rocks! I recently bought a few items here and am really happy with my experience. First of all, the place is clean and pretty well organized. On a recent visit I observed the staff wiping and polishing end tables that had just arrived, including fixing then as needed. The various items are grouped by type, so if you are looking for lamps, they are all in 1 place, chairs, in another, etc. The selection in each category is great and the prices seem fair. There are even some finer pieces, including antiques, artsy lamps and even a funky mirror from Anthropologie (which I bought a few days ago). The owner, Holly, knows her stuff and seems to enjoy talking to customers. The staff doesn't just ask if you need help, they really mean it, including help you load your purchase into your car. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
I'm glad I found this little hidden gem. This warehouse has everything from beds to kitchen furniture to wine coolers to filing cabinets. If your looking for gently used antiques and furniture at a decent price, this is ur place to go.
google avatar

Angelina B.

Yelp
This is truly a hidden gem for good solid furniture and home accessories AT CHEAP prices that needs a little TLC.

Jesse L.

Yelp
Stopped in by accident and found the most perfect mirror for my bathroom remodel. Will be back for other pieces! Great shop!

Yelp
I love this place. Unique stuff you can't find anywhere else. Hotel furniture is perfect for small spaces like mine, and the prices here can't be beat.

Yelp
I think this is the cheapest furniture used furniture store in the Mid City area. I got a whole bedroom set that was in really good condition for $750. I'm giving it four stars instead of five, because one of the people I talked to was really unbelievably rude to me for absolutely no reason whatsoever, but tow other employees where pretty polite.

Celeste P.

Yelp
I went to CFL on Saturday....they were busy. They're new owners - Joe was very polite. I did buy a HON desk for $195...I thought this was a little on the high side. Joe said it was alot more expensive desk...I had my doubts...well I looked up the same desk....It was an over $1200.00 desk. WOW - I grabbed it & it looks brand new!! I also got a cheap $25 computer chair that works just fine....I agree they do have some higher priced items but their selection is %100 better than before. They still have $10 chairs and $45 desks as well....Thanks Joe :)

Chris C.

Yelp
Great selection of unique pieces. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Will be back to try one of their classes.

Ameca R.

Yelp
I stopped by this place because I moved to Mid City and was in the market for a sturdy old wardrobe that I could refinish and customize. This place is stacked with dirty old furniture that is dusty and smells like mildew. Some of the prices are completely ridiculous, but I think you can haggle with them for a lower price. What I would say is that their staff, particularly "Jay" have no clue what customer service or sales is all about. He is especially rude and inappropriate. I over head him telling a customer that he assaulted a man over Mardi Gras. I would say put this place at the bottom of your list. Craigslist, Bridge House, Pelican Thrift and estate sales are probably better bets.

B A.

Yelp
Great selection, great prices. Bought 2 large mirrors here and are very pleased with them.
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
New owners, higher prices. Justification: store better organized, pickier about their purchases. Maybe, but I'm not paying ~$70 for an outdated (& poorly spray painted!) basic square table with chips in the wood. Nor, will i spend $85 on a desk chair that can no longer be adjusted for height. Seriously..? I can get a brand new one at office depot for the same price. So, granted, it is more organized, but there's much less product and it's the same quality of furniture (aka you still have to put a bit of work...and cleaning..into it). The person that I spoke with was kind, and explained their new approach. She explained they are new owners, and the old owner retired back in November. She also claims they have not raised any prices, and says that it just seems that way cause they have been "pickier" about what they buy/sell. Hmm.. yeah, I'm not convinced. I'm not coming to CFL for a furniture showcase. I'm looking for used furniture that I can spruce up or refurbish at a low price. Guess I'll have to look somewhere else now. :-( Good luck, CFL!

Yelp
larger than i expected, way better than the 2011 and earlier reviews would lead one to believe, nice lady working there, but not a ton of great interest to warrant going out of your way. they do post cool things to craigslist; keep your eyes peeled.
