An ex Pasture/Boxer chef no doubt your in for a good meal at Flor. We almost ordered the whole menu and none of these dishes we won't eat again. The fried chicken is a must so as the courgette these are my top 2 technique and flavours are just absolutely amazing what an experience. Heaps of wine variety will definitely consider going for wine by the glass to match different dishes we ordered. If you're up for something different delicious amazing quality go and try Flor.

Such a great new addition to K road. We ordered most of the menu and every dish was a stand out. The food is all so fresh and innovative but with no compromise on deliciousness. Amazing wine list as well. You're in good hands whatever the occasion. Already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend- order everything.

This was simply one of the best food, wine and service experiences I've had in Auckland. A wine bar having this kind of absolutely delicious food is just amazing. We did the $85 we feed you and boy was that a taste sensation. Added in the wine paring and got to taste some unique and delicious wines you would normally have to buy bottles for. I will definitely be heading to the wine shop run by these guys to get some of the many wines we tasted. Absolutely amazing and and highly recommend to anyone. The veggie options were just a mouth sensation so if you are that was inclined you won't won't miss out.

Super great food and mood Definitely I will go back

Had the feed me dinner and it was fantastic. Couldn't ask for better. The food was interesting, beautifully presented, properly seasoned and tasted wonderful. Also, they had good wines by the glass that were well priced. 10/10

The front of house staff were fantastic last night - helpful and attentive. The guy who helped us pick some wines was super knowledgeable and nailed our choices. Not to mention the phenomenal food. That fruit tart was beyond good. Definitely will be back!

We loved our evening at Flor, to get a feel for the food we ordered a range from the menu, first up was the bread with ricotta and parsley oil and a few nasturtiums to top it off. This was quickly followed by a superb tomato and strawberry salad , the fried chicken was super tender and went well with the pickles and cucumber on the side. The most moorish fried octopus followed and it was one of those dishes you could have eaten a bucket load of , so tasty and crispy. We topped off the savoury offerings with the lamb tacos which were a perfect size portion to devour in 2-3 bites and not get too messy in the process. We finished with a light dessert with cream, custard and fruit and shared it as the savoury dishes were more than adequate to make sure you left full and happy. Go try the place out and get it filled up on an evening,

Holy Moly … holy freakin MOLY!! This was possibly THEE best meal I’ve had in a decade.. and I eat out all the time. Oysters were perfection, fat, juicy, fresh and the vinaigrette.. sublime. Courgette salad, out of this world! Chicken skewers.. so so succulent. Snapper, I suddenly realised I’d never had fish cooked properly.. ever.. clearly cause this was insane. Kingfish was nice, but the others were 10/10.. my new favourite spot for every reason I have to go out to eat. I want to bring all my friends here to experience the pure joy of this food. Wine list is exceptional, service personable and fun. All round delicious experience from the moment we stepped in door… you will not be disappointed, you will be astounded!!
