"The oldest bar on the island, Flor de Oriente was established in 1935 and remains a favorite for both island natives and repeat visitors. It’s a great spot to grab a happy hour drink away from the crowds at the beach, as well as a bite to eat, like locally caught fish, burgers, and bitterballen (a deep-fried Dutch meatball and the perfect accompaniment to the lengthy beer list). There’s usually live music on the outdoor patio, too, from jazz to oldies to the ever-popular house band Flor de Oriente Social Club, which plays merengue and salsa every Friday."
Lovely bar with great cosy vibes, trees and fairy lights, live music sometimes, very friendly barman and excellent cocktails. We didn't tried the food but were tempted by their good menu and reasonable prices!

This place is so freaking cute! We just stumbled upon it because it had a calm and welcoming patio. Our server has to be the happiest guy on the island. The food and drinks are a great price! This is a local place, not a tourist trap. Great craft and Belgian beer selections. Everything about it is lovely

I got the chicken schnitzel with the traditional fries and they were absolutely delicious!! The waitresses were so friendly at explaining all the menu which is in by Dutch. Unlike a previous reviewer, we were able to pay with credit card.

Great seeing Peter again. The drinks and food were spectacular as usual. Best kept secret on the island.

This is the oldest barnin Aruba and they have a great service and a nice menu. I'm vegetarian and still could find what to eat there.

Very friendly service, the food very nice. Great place to meet with friends, share some food and drinks in the open air.

Amazing place, but more importantly amazing people and staff. We only came here once on our trip, but felt we did a disservice to our selves by not going more, not just for the food to chat with the staff. What wonderful people.
A must visit for all. Great food, great selection of beers and again most importantly a great people. Will visit again next time.

Informal small bar in the centre of town, popular with locals and tourists. The outside terrace on the street has a welcoming atmosphere, with pleasantly low music volume and partialshelter from wind and unlikely rain. The staff was friendly and efficient, quickly solving a problem with our reservation. Food and drinks were very good. Parking can be challenging, as it is on the nearby streets, and you probably need a navigator to find Flor de Oriente the first time. We will gladly go back.
