"Those looking for space, privacy, and a wallop of streamlined design in Lisbon need look no further. Situated near several museums in the elegant Chiado neighborhood, the 10 apartments range in proportion from an amply-sized 710-square-foot studio to a sprawling 1,290-square-foot two-bedroom duplex with terrace, all with fully-equipped kitchens. What’s more, Ricardo Flora, whose family has owned the property since the early 20th century, expertly repurposes original detailing into a thoroughly modern aesthetic: in one apartment, old floor boards have been turned into a bookcase, with Tom Dixon lighting providing a contemporary backdrop. And despite its name, there’s more on offer than just a self-catering stay. Haute dishes from the one-Michelin starred restaurant, Alma, can be ferried up to you, and personalized tours, whether in Lisbon or outside the city, are just a phone call away."

I can honestly say this is the best apartment we have ever stayed at. From the super professional reception and housekeeping team to the fit out of the apartment. Amazing. Fresh pastries each morning. Oranges every day to juice, super comfy bed, automatic shutters, satellite tv in the bedroom, balcony the length of the apartment. I could go on. Perfect in every way

I stayed with family members at this wonderful hotel! The apartments are absolutely wonderful: comfortable, spacious, and welcoming with modern decor accented with a local touch. Each apartment we booked had everything you could need-to eat dinner in or cook a meal there. This was the quandary: the apartments were so nice that it was tempting to just chill there and never leave. But as it was our first time in Lisbon we made sure to duck out of the apartments to see the city! The location is set on a quiet street in chiado with taverns and restaurants a quick walk across the street or within close walking distance. Around the corner from the hotel, you’ll find a bookstore that also lines the street with old books and maps to buy. Also close by, you can find cafes and a spot to get gelato or pasteis de nata. Our favorite thing was hearing the church bells go off as the apartment is also across from a parish church. Our most favorite thing was the wonderful pastries that wait for you outside your door in the morning for breakfast. Coffee, juice, cream, cheese, and cold cuts are provided in your refrigerator along with eggs and jams. The front desk staff were absolutely excellent serving as fantastic resources and a wealth of information. ||Our family stayed in the two-floor two bedroom apartment and in the two bedroom apartment with garden terrace. If I were to return to Lisbon, this would be the only spot I would consider to book!

We stayed at this wonderful gem--2 adults and 2 older teens. We booked the 2 BR, 2 1/2 bath duplex unit and it was incredibly roomy and had a number of nice creature comforts. The kitchen is stocked everyday with eggs, ham, cheese, bacon, yogurt, fresh fruit and milk. Fresh bread/rolls are delivered each morning. It is on a quiet street in Chiado very close to restaurants and the sites. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was also free transportation from the airport to the property. I would strongly recommend this unit to everyone.

Our stay at the beautiful apartment hotel Flora Chiado could not have been better. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The apartment (a 2 bedroom duplex on the 3rd floor) was stunning and was a wonderful retreat after long days of sightseeing in Lisbon. An excellent care package was topped up every day and fresh bread delivered every morning. The location was also fantastic: central in Chiado and an easy walk to restaurants ranging from Michelin-starred (next door and opposite!) to typically Portuguese (round the corner). Could not recommend this hotel highly enough!

Be Aware!! The cleaners go through your belongings. I'm a very seasoned traveller and leave zipper traps on all items. All were touched and opened. I'll be lodging a complaint with the tourism board. And I suggest every traveller take photos and track this. You'll notice it happens so slightly (today was the day I set a trap to verify that they were going in my belongings). Otherwise, nice rooms, bed and general service.

This is one of those reviews that I almost didn’t want to do. We wanted to keep this gem to ourselves!!! But seriously, we pondered accommodation in Lisboa long and hard. Weeks I kept looking at the Hyatt app, trying to decide. What finally put me over the top was the juicer of all things! 😄 I can’t even begin to tell you all the loveliness that is Flora Chiado. From walking in the door and being greeted by Mafalda (sp?) to walking out the door when we left, it was perfect. This is one of our top two accommodations ever! And we’ve stayed at a LOT of places. The stocked fridge, the appliances, the bread delivery every morning, the location… I literally could go on and on. It was spectacular. Just, spectacular. The bed and pillows were comfy, the shower had good pressure, the fireplace was so unique and the small fire escape balcony was unexpected. Our two downsides were, the furniture wasn’t all that comfy for relaxing and there was an industrial fan on the next door rooftop that ran 24/7. It was LOUD. For that reason, having the windows and balcony door open was near impossible. Plus the construction on the church started fairly early in the morning as well. Thank goodness the windows were excellent so when they were closed the noise was down to a dull hum. That being said, I cannot see us staying anywhere else in our next visit to Lisboa.

Gorgeous apartment close to everything. Easy welcoming check in, delicious breakfast, phenomenal accommodations. The apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable. Perfect for two couples. Honestly, we loved this place so much, we didn’t want to leave Lisbon.
