Opened in the mid 1800s, after the destruction of Cologne's older botanical garden, it has a mix of German, French, Italian and English garden elements. It's open daily and free of charge, making it a great daytime activity. And, if you're hungry, try out the Flora cafe for a nice lunch. Great garden to visit but it is not that big, you will see so many beautiful flowers and trees that you never see before, they have an access from different streets and you don’t have to enter from the main gate, the main issue is no parking.

Yeah I thought this place was utterly charming, with a beautiful cafe, ample toilets and the smaller greenhouse open, it was a lovely morning! When it's all renovated and re-opened it will be a sight to behold !

Such a wonderful Camellia exhibition. This is a rare and very beautiful collection and so wonderful to visit. Still open til April 7th. However a lot of blossoms will bloom soon!

Restaurant available with nice theme as a picnic where you can take food jars in a basket & enjoy it anywhere in the park . Entry is free . Suitable for weddings & large gatherings.
