Floral Hotel Sheik Istana Chiang Mai

Very good service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean with a bathtub in the room. View looking at the river.

All the staff was amazing. Pu spoke English and was able to make several recommendations and arrangements for us. I am very appreciative of her assistance. My first morning there I had 1 hour on my own. Pu made arrangements on the spot for a driver to take me to several Temples and market. The tour took exactly 1 hour and it was amazing. The room was basic but clean with a nice but small balcony. The pools were immaculate! The breakfast was beautiful and I had eggs cooked to order perfectly daily. I was expecting the kitchenette to have supplies for cooking but you are required to bring your own. They did have a tea kettle, mugs, and glasses. Restaurants and markets were within walking distance. The city was very easy to get to via bolt or grab which the staff was always willing to help with. Several times we took a Tuk tuk from the old city back to the hotel which was so much fun.

Had a good stay at Sheik Istana, the hotel overlooks the river ping and has a beautiful backyard. The rooms are comfortable but some attention to cleaning is required. The water pressure is slightly low. They offer breakfast from 7-10 which is great but some variety would definitely help. We were there for 3 days and the breakfast was the same all three days. Their in-house cat is a cutie and very friendly.

I wanna express my gratitude to the staff for their service and kindness. It’s truly magical place with great view, peaceful, romantic and spiritual. Garden is beautiful and taken care on daily basis, 2 big swimming pool's and beautiful outdoor seating, from where you can see temple, rooms and Balcony are also great. Make sure you book on 3rd floor for even better view. We will recommend to all our friends that will travel to Chaing Mai in future. Really special place, Thank you all! Erik & Emily

Had a pleasant stay in Sheik Istana hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. They also helped us out with laundry for a small fee. Sheets and bed were clean and they gave fresh supplies everyday. Breakfast could have been better, it was a little bit uninteresting but other than that thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast is decent not many options. Location is a little far from everything but nice and quiet and 2 great pools. The floors were dusty and no slippers, robes or toothbrush was provided. They took all safety deposit lockers out because you could see the markings of where it used to be. The room had lamps but nowhere to plug them in and the shower curtain looked horrendously dirty with stains. Only 1 woman at reception spoke English but she offered me late check-out free of charge but then housekeeping and herself kept knocking to get us out so no stars on service. We were assigned a room number upon arrival but by check-in time they had given the room to someone else so they offered us a temporary room and then shifted us to a different room eventually.

Bring all your toiletries because they don't provide basic tooth brush and paste no conditioner or soap. No slippers or robes and no extra pillows. Our bathroom had live wire sticking out from the wall. They have 2 pools but the washrooms and changing rooms in the pool area are very dirty with cigarette butts and no soap. Breakfast had slim pickings. Staff speaks no English and receptionist kept laughing when we told her about the problems so no stars for service. Location is nice and quiet but far from everything and grab is very slow and expensive.

The best thing is the location, all rooms have a river view, better if you ask for the higher floor room. The hotel itself look ok, maybe need a renovation. Another plus is the airport pick up service included in the room price
