Fabulous atmosphere, decor and concept here. A very old establishment with its original outside and raw flooring and walls keeping its original charm. The food was very tasty and good value. The menu was dated which leads me to believe it changes everyday which is always a good sign. Their menu is certainly based on the produce in season - for example, butternut squash risotto, chicken and mushrooms, and pumpkin basque cheesecake. When the bread served is not just a classic white baguette, you know it’s a good restaurant - the bread was of very high quality and extremely fresh.
The carrot cake for dessert is one of the best I’ve tasted in Paris. The starters and mains were really flavourful. Would highly recommend.
