Spent 5 days at Florentina Homes and loved every moment. The place is charming, with colorful decor and a cozy, comfortable feel. Gabby’s Bistro was a highlight—great food right on-site! The staff were wonderful, and the whole property had a peaceful vibe that made it easy to relax. Nothing to complain about—just a quiet, beautiful spot I’d happily return to. Again and again.

The venue was beautiful, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the owner, Sir Gab, was very hands-on, supportive, and down-to-earth. Florentina Homes stands out from typical hotels with its whimsical decor and internationally themed rooms and apartments. The establishment offers a personalized touch and a quirky, eclectic ambiance that many guests find charming. Rooms are spacious and generally well-appointed. The pool area, with its unique underwater seating, adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The establishment conveniently located in the heart of Dumaguete City, providing easy access to the airport and attractions. The on-site cafe has great selection of food and beverages. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance of the hotel, offering more variety. Its praise-worthy to say that the staff are all accommodating, friendly and always available on a call. You feel well taken care of, adding to the overall positive experience.

A very interesting and unique place to stay. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. It's definitely not a 5 star or a 4-star hotel. Yet it's a clean and very comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend it for those traveling on a budget. The best rooms are those with a balcony facing the courtyard. Now the bad news. The walls are paper-thin with the tv mounted on the wall separating each room. Unfortunately, you can hear every word of a conversation next door. I had multiple times where I had to bang on the next room to use their indoor voice or to turn down the blaring TV late in the evening. The pool can become complete chaos-packed with screaming unsupervised kids. We avoided the pool like the plague. The Bistro is quite good always enjoyed eating there.

I recently stayed at Florentina Homes with my friends and we had a great experience. All of the staff, including the receptionists, guards, and technician were extremely accommodating and responsive to our requests. Despite initial skepticism due to rumors that the place was old, we found that it actually had a lot of character. The room we stayed in was very spacious and gave off a homey vibe, making us feel comfortable and relaxed. Additionally, we appreciated the complimentary water provided by the apartelle. We also had the pleasure of dining at Gabby's Bistro, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, our stay was very convenient and smooth, and we would definitely consider returning to Florentina Homes in the future. We will also recommend this place to our friends and family who plan to visit Dumaguete.

Amazing place, just super lucky to find it by chance, I selected it cos it was close to the airport but it’s such a cool place, pool too, but the main best point was the restaurant, best menu of the Philippines so far! With very reasonable prices for great quality. I’ve already booked a place for my return otherwise I would stay here again! And staff were super friendly to us for all our questions about boats and places.
