Anything here tastes great. I had breakfast and chose tamale from Santander. People must try the hit chocolate or aguadepanela with assorted pastries including pandebono and envuelto.

The place has a lot of history, and it's a nice relaxing break from the always busy streets on central Bogotá. The cakes are great and so are the various different dishes, both local and french-inspired. However, the place is very popular and crowded, and people can be very loud. Moreover, the place is understaffed, so don't expect fast service. To finish, we couldn't find anyone who spoke English. For us it was not a major issue, but it's a warning to anyone who doesn't speak Spanish.

Great place for meeting with friends. Good, friendly service. Excellent coffee and pastries, and surprisingly inexpensive for such a renowned place.

This is a must go when in Bogota since it is a place many Bogotans families have spent their life having breakfast. It is simple and tasty, you can definitely find lots of choices. Service and decoration are a bit outdated but that is also the charm of it.

Came here with my partner and she said this was one of her favorite breakfast locations in bogota. They are apparently known for their tamales, one made with corn and the other made with rice. Had an opportunity to try both and not completely blown away by the taste but overall it was a great tamale. The service was excellent and would definitely return!

Amazing place. The restaurant exist since 1936 and it has a reason. The food is delicious and very good quality. The only thing I didn't liked was the rissoto, that wasn't one and that I had to ask the waiter for normal things. Like a serviette, or table water. Price is higher but in good relation with what you get. The cakes are amazing too. Favorite spot. Can highly recommend it!!!

A famous bakery in the heart of Bogotá, Colombia, established in 1932 its bakery had an open floor plan to Carrera Septima and through the doors set to the back sits a classic restaurant with a classic vibe. The croissant egg sandwich with bacon, cheese and onion was delicious. The croissant was baked to perfection and had a deliciously light crunch. Our favorite of the trio. The Tamal was traditionally prepared with large portions of chicken and was equally delicious. The eggs florentine was cooked perfectly and the poached egg and oozed when pierced. The cheese sauce and spinach tasted good and this was overall a good dish, if not a little underwhelming. A must visit in Bogotá
