Sometimes all you need a good ol' sandwich. Flossie's makes the perfect roadtrip sandwich. Huge portions, delicious food, and good vibes. What more do you need?

We stopped here without much planning for a quick bite. The atmosphere is lovely. There is also a nice store where you can buy many items ranging from food to gardening to clothing. The food at Flossie's is so good. The portions are generous and the menu has something for everyone. We ordered a grilled cheese and turkey sandwich. Both were delicious. We are looking forward to coming again.

We came for a visit from the city and found this great little food spot - amazing food, stellar service, and huge portions! It’s set up behind the garden center which was really nice to walk through with picnic benches in a courtyard area to sit and eat. They had great veggie options as well and all the sandwiches come with either a salad or fries. We also opted for Mac and cheese balls which were definitely drool worthy.

Delicious and quality sandwiches with huge portions! Nice and friendly staff and there’s lot of seating. They’re located right on the patio of Carson’s Garden & Market - to let left of the storefront. Lots of picnic tables available under the shaded canopies and some on the lawn if you enjoy the sun! They have good options for everyone - if you like beef, pork, chicken and even vegetarian options! What I enjoyed: Carson Serendipity- delicious chicken thighs in a honey mustard sauce and the pretzel bun is so good, definitely worth a try! Referred to the locals as “The Dip”. The Nicky San-Meat-Toro - an eggplant Parmesan sandwich with a delicious spicy kick! Both vegetarian and meat-lovers will surely enjoy this! Referred to the locals as “The Nicky”. These portions are definitely for someone who is hungry! If you can’t eat much, definitely to share between two. The process is to order first then they will call out your name once it’s ready. They also have cold drinks to enjoy with your food!

Come on! If you haven't been to Flossie's yet, you are seriously missing out! The food is incredible, the location is beautiful, but the best part is Kyle. What a guy. We've had nothing but the best experiences every time we have visited, whether here at Carson's, or at the Wellington market! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

So delicious we came back the next day, in the middle of a rain storm! If looking for a quick and beyond delicious bite to eat while winery or brewery hopping in the County look no further. The sandwiches are incredible and the fries are among the best Ive ever had. Ever. The team grow the herbs right next to where they cook so all the flavours taste superbly fresh. A must visit for many reasons from Thursday to Sunday. A great stop in the middle of the county.

Worth a long wait of 30+ minutes on a beautiful Sunday. All sandwiches come with salad and seasoned fries and everything was prepared to a perfect degree. Although benches/picnic tables were made unavailable during this time due to COVID-19, there are plenty spaces along the deck and yard/garden for people eating while keeping social distancing. Staffs are very friendly. Thanks for running such a great business!

WHAT A HIGHLY PLEASANT MOUTH-WATERING MEAL we had. We ordered the “buff” burger and a chicken pesto sandwich. The “Buff” burger was delectable, savory, delicious, palatable, inviting, tantalizing, succulent, juicy, luscious, tempting, tasty, enticing, flavourful… if I have forgotten some sensory words, you can exercise your imagination to describe how delicious it was. The chicken pesto sandwich was extremely remarkable. A must-have to try! If you’re crossing the area or down to go with some friends for a gastronomy adventure, you should pin this place on your list and move it to the top. I am 200% sure I will return and bring some friends and family!

Google
AMAZING. Have visited a few times and am always impressed. Their sandwiches are meat heavy but my fav is the veg option, eggplant parm! Mac and cheese balls are a hit too. A must if you are hungry while exploring the wineries/breweries along Wilson Road and surrounding area. Tip: come during the week to avoid long wait times.

Yelp
Flossie's was our stop during our wine tour. I have heard people speak about Flossies before but this was my first experience. Delicious! There were 5 of us and we each tried different dishes -- eggplant, turkey, salads, etc. They were out of gluten free buns so offered to make the same sandwich and serve on fries. Although I wasn't gluten free concerned that idea sounded delicious and it definitely was! The staff were helpful, super friendly and everything was made to order and if shows in their quality. We sat outside at the picnic benches and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. We will definitely visit again!

Yelp
I dream about this place. Our second year coming in late September for a city escape, Flossie's came highly recommended by my buddy who visits often. I'm sad to say that I don't remember what we got last year, just that we loved it. So of course, we had to repeat again this year! And oh man, it did not disappoint. I didn't want to eat with my toddler because I did NOT want to share. I gave him a few fries because he could smell them but there was no chance he was going to touch my sandwich. Hubby got the Texan brisket (special and the last one!) and I got the chicken pesto panini. My wonderful husband offered to do splitsies and ... well, he only got a couple bites. Sadly, because of said toddler and infant in tow, we couldn't eat it there when the fries were fresh so they were a tad sad when we finally sat to eat them. No dock on Flossie's - that's our fault. I'm certain they would have been amazing fresh! All of this to say....if you're in the area or planning a visit, make sure you stop by. You won't be disappointed. Unless they're closed...that's why you need to plan your schedule around their opening hours. A second location is opening in Belleville ... kudos to Flossie's for making their dreams happen! Sorry for not taking a picture of our sandwiches. Like I said, I couldn't wait. It was very much a GET IN MY BELLY moment.

Yelp
Flossie offers a wide fare of fantastic sandwiches and burgers. Their impressive outdoor seating and decor coupled with great food will give you a 5/5 PEC experience. First things first, their menu is mostly pictures so it would be good to ask about ingredients if you have any food intolerances. There may also be off menu items so feel free to ask their pleasant staff. Most of the items don't have prices but it's generally around $20 pretax. It's a bit pricier than expected but the food and environment makes up for it. We tried a few of their sandwiches and they were all juicy and flavourful in their own way. It's all packed with a healthy combination of high quality ingredients. The burger was cooked to a nice juicy medium rare, and the sandwich breads were toasted perfectly. You have the choice of the usual sides, but the coleslaw definitely stands out with a creamy and sweet but well balanced profile. The outdoor seating is an absolute boon for a spring/summer PEC visit. Enjoy the shade and the gentle breeze as you bite into your juicy sandwich!

Yelp
We arrived at 2 and most of the sandwiches were sold out, so we were left with sandwiches which I normally would not order. I didn't like the sandwich I had. Best part of this restaurant was the extremely friendly man taking the orders. He's very memorable, the sandwich was not. I recommend arriving when they open so that you have all sandwiches available. The atmosphere is very nice, so would like to try this place again when they have the full selection available.

Yelp
winter dinning area is adjacent to the greenhouse - so it is warm and toasty, sandwiches were outstanding while there is a small number of sandwiches on the menu - it was still really hard to decide. Luckily i was with someone who was happy to share! We had the Special - Greasy Caprese - whose reputation had preceded and it not disappoint - thick cut bacon, pesto and cherry tomatoes done perfectly. Second up was the Roast Beef with caramelized onions on a soft bun - YUM! we added the soups (potato leek and beef with gnocchi). I felt a little bad for the soups because under any other circumstances I would have raved about the flavours and obviously great ingredients - but the next to the amazing sandwiches it was hard for them to get noticed

Yelp
Located on the property of a home and garden store, this is a hidden gem I will reluctantly share with my fellow Yelpers as I think the secret is out based on our recent visit. There was a steady stream of customers coming just for the food. The beautifully design patio and food shop is the perfect blend of country and contemporary, which fits in very well next to Carson Arthur's upscale shop. But most importantly, the food is amazing! There was a bit of a wait as everything is made to order, about 10-15 minutes. All burgers come with delicious crispy (but not overdone) fries and a simple salad (from the garden). I had a traditional beef and cheese burger that just melted in my mouth. The ingredients are local whenever possible and obviously great quality. I disagree with burgers that have too much filling or sauce. The focus should be on the meat in my opinion and that's certainly the case with their burger. It might actually be the best burger I ever had! Also, we ordered a grape ginger soda and that was fantastic too. Not too sweet and quite refreshing. They do an amazing job and I'm happy to be the first to review it here!

Yelp
Love the place...Love the sandwiches..really love the employees but since moving to a Belleville location I find myself, with minimal tip (15%) paying $45 for 2 sandwiches..ridiculous! Yes everything is more, everywhere, but there are breaking points and Flossies, you have arrived. So sorry to see me go.

Yelp
This place fits perfectly into the PEC aesthetic - quaint and laidback. We ordered the "don't go bacon my heart" and the Lana Cobb salad with the add of flossy fries. Overall, the ambiance was a 10/10. There was outdoor seating, a beautiful shop attached to the restaurant and very friendly staff. The only caveat was that some of the staff behind the counter (who were serving guests) was not wearing a mask. For both the salad, the side of fries and the burger, it was about a $45 bill. At first glance, I found the price quite steep. After tasting the food, I still find it too expensive for the meal. The burger was great and quite filling. The ingredients were fresh and great quality. The salad was also hearty and great quality. The portions were great and left you feeling like you need a nap (in a good way). Overall, my one reservation was the price. I think a better price point would have been 30$-35$ instead of $45. Minor change but overall a great place to visit in PEC The food came fairly

Yelp
We'd heard good things about Flossie's and the experience lived up to the hype! There's a decent amount of seating and an open green space for a picnic style lunch (we brought a blanket). We opted for 2 of their vegetarian sandwiches (mushroom and egglant) and both were delicious (coming from someone that generally doesn't like mushrooms, and certainly not as the star). Would highly recommend! It's attached to a cute garden/market store and just down the street from a brewery and a winery.

Yelp
Flossie's Sandwiches are some of the best creations out there. Kyle and staff are super awesome people to go along with the great vibe at Carson's Garden Market. I honestly cant say enough good things. My 8 year old sons words "these are the best fries I have had in my entire life" Cant wait to go back!
