"An Antipodean-style venue from Bovingdons Catering, Flotsam & Jetsam at Dulwich Picture Gallery isn’t necessarily the most ground-breaking gallery restaurant, but nor is it amongst the least inspired. Brunch is a big deal here, with dishes broadly revolving around fancy cereal, pancakes, avocado and feta on toast, or various egg dishes. The eggs Benedict with an espresso-infused brown butter hollandaise is particularly interesting — ideal for refuelling during a visit to England’s oldest public gallery." - Jonathan Hatchman

I remember that on a previous visit there were lots of people and we had to wait a long time for our food, and this visit wasn’t much different. Locals don’t seem to have many café options nearby, so the choice is quite limited, but there’s a gallery next door (entry £10.50) and plenty of places to sit and relax, which is nice. At the moment Rachel Jones, Lisa Contucci and Clifton Wright are exhibiting, and you can check the details on their website.

I stopped here for an elevated avocado on sourdough and an apple juice. Service was friendly. The space is airy and bright with outside seating. A great place to stop by for food before or after the Dulwich Picture Gallery.

We were at an exhibition here and stopped in for breakfast. My wife had Scott's Chorizo Scramble and I had the Eggs Benedict. Both really tasty and hit the spot. Nice friendly staff and atmosphere. Good music too.

Lovely place. Great food and probably the best mocha I've had anywhere in London to date. Usually busy (sign of a great restaurant) so factor in waiting time. Staff exceptionally friendly.

Very blah experience and service. The people working there seemed disinterested in serving the people sitting. Short staffed and the management found it difficult to manage the rushed crowd. The muffin was really nice. Rest everything is over priced, small portions. Take away better. Sad way to spend a weekend lunch.

Nice little cafe located in Dulwich Picture Gallery - the world’s first purpose-built public art gallery. We came here to escape the afternoon sun and relax with a drink. We ordered an iced latte and an apple juice, and were both satisfied with our choices. Service was friendly and pretty efficient. All in all, no complaints and would happily come back here.

Flotsam & Jetsam at Dulwich Picture Library is a delightful spot! The latte was just perfect, and the cafe has a great ambiance with a lively, engaging crowd. The staff were sweet and attentive, providing great customer service. Though there was a short wait for a table, it's worth it for the cozy indoor and outdoor seating. The charm of Dulwich Picture Library adds to the overall experience. Highly recommend stopping by when in Dulwich!

Lovely spot for lunch or brunch after you’ve visited Dulwich Picture Gallery. Wide selection of drinks - I had an iced chai which was delicious. For food, I opted for the avocado on toast. The waiter and kitchen staff were more than happy to take an adjustment on the order from what it said on the menu (removing the feta). Really great food.
