Flower Land Kamifurano has expansive fields of different flowering plants. The fields are separated by walking paths. Because each field occupies a big area, it does not feel crowded and visitors can pose and take photographs anywhere along the perimeter of each field. Looking eastwards, Mount Tokachi and Daisetsuzan National Park are in the background, providing a picture-perfect postcard.
When my wife and I were there in July, the flower blooms were fresh despite the summer heat. There were a few wedding couples present having their photographs taken. The different flower fields provided many opportunities for nice photographs.
Walking downhill from the main entrance, there is an elevated and sheltered observation wooden deck which provides an overall view of the flower fields. A few benches on the deck provide rest to those who need it.
At the end of our visit, we browsed the merchandise in the retail shop and enjoyed cut melon fruit which was very sweet and refreshing.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the flower fields without the crowds. Best of all, Flower Land Kamifurano provides free entry! Highly recommended for a visit.
