Flower Pension

I don’t want to be all fancy, but Bekir, the owner of Flower Pension is an ideal hotelier. He’s very friendly -extroverted, in fact - so his welcome and his attention to his guests is genuine. He grew up in this hotel so his English is nearly flawless and being helpful to guests seems second nature. My friend and I were walking the Lycian Way, and Bekir picked us up at the end of the trail so we didn’t need to walk through the many greenhouses in Patara, and he chatted and answered our questions about the area, about its visitors, about the weather to expect. Why read background online when there can be a conversation? It’s a 2 star hotel so the shower isn’t flawless and the sheets were a bit scratchy, but I had to reach to find those minor flaws. Meanwhile, dinners were tasty (one was fish, one a fantastic casserole, and the third a chicken/lamb/beef grill), the breakfasts, too. There’s a bookcase of books to borrow (in many languages) and the books are the sort you want to read after hiking (not toooo literary and not trash). The hotel is just down the road from the Patara Roman ruins, a fifteen minute walk.

We had a wonderful time here. Very kind and generous people in a great location - very calm and green but also a short easy walk to the village centre - and they serve an excellent breakfast. Because the hotel was fuller than had been expected, we were given an villa with a pool. It was a remarkable place, lots of space inside and outside and very comfortable bed, sofa and sun beds on the terrace. We had a lovely 3 night stay and are so grateful to our host for his kindness.

We stayed at Flower Pension in Patara for two nights and loved it! It’s a lovely family-run place — everyone was kind and welcoming. Our room, with its blue and white decor, had a peaceful, seaside vibe. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended — and we’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for two nights along our hike on the Lycian Way and it was our favorite place so far. The inn is not fancy but it is clean and comfortable and quiet. We ate dinner there both nights and our meals were delicious. The breakfasts were huge and very good. The staff were all very friendly and we especially appreciated the hospitality and kindness of Bekir - the owner. He was very helpful and friendly. We would stay again.

Had a 3 night stay at the end of a Lycian way hike. Owner and his family were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms neat and clean, along with good food for both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Patara.

Stayed for 5 nights the rooms are clean and plenty of space. The staff are lovely and will do anything for you. A great place to stay if you want to visit places around Patara. The beach is lovely and you can hire beds and brollies for 100tl each item. The breakfast at the hotel is lovely and there is plenty of it.

This family run pension was basic but clean and adequate. The family were very friendly and helpful and gave advice about our walk the next day. Tea was offered when we arrived, but it was from an urn and a little stewed. The room was good and the ensuite shower hot. Evening dinner was available but we chose to eat out, but breakfast was good and filling. The family agreed to facilitate the transfer of our bags the following day for a fee. Recommended.

Family run, small, charming hotel with great pool, very good breakfasts (dinner was also delicious, much better than the ones from the town). The owners are very nice and Patara beach is extremely beautiful. We hope to come back one day.
