Flutterby House

The most happening place in Uvita! I didn’t stay here but came by for a few nights for drinks and food. The atmosphere with the young hostel crowd is refreshing and inspiring. All of our meals were delicious and the drink menu is extensive. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. What a fun place to hang out!

stayed here for two nights, the rooms were fine, mattresses a little uncomfortable but okay for a few nights. The staff was very friendly and they had a well equipped kitchen, only two showers and bathrooms for the whole hostel though. The location is fine, it’s very close to the beach which is nice but a pretty far walk from everything else which can get a little exhausting especially in the heat.

We didn’t stay here but popped in for dinner and some drinks. Everything was excellent and well priced. (We had the Carne Casada, Shrimp and Rice and Guacamole app). The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere had a great energy!

Good place to stay close to the beach. Staff is good. The only thing I was thinking you need some salt and oil in the kitchen 🙂😀😃..will comeback

I really enjoyed my stay there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant tasty. The place was clean and the kitchen big. The atmosphere was amazing! And really friendly and helpful staff.

This is a great hostel. We stayed in a private room which was comfortable and clean. The owner was super helpful and lovely and helped us arrange a whale watchung tour which was amazing and ethical. The food at the restaurant was great and they even had gluten free pasta when asked. My only negative comment was that our last night was a thursday night and the music they were playing in the bar was incredibly loud, it felt like I was in a club whilst in bed. This was the only night that it was bad and we stayed tues-fri. Music was on until 10.30/11pm and wasn't advertised that it would be on so was a shock. Other than that it was a lovely stay and would stay here again.

We stayed at this place for about three days, and the guy at the bar was incredibly nice and attentive. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of stovetops and always clean, thanks to the diligent effort of the cleaning lady. Every day, the hostel looked nice and tidy. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the showers had cold water but really good pressure. There is a platform for yoga or exercise, hammocks, and a good social area. However, the place seemed to lack a vibrant social vibe. There were many young guests around, but they were more focused on partying than socializing. Of course, this can depend on the crowd at the time. I want to highlight the wonderful vibe brought by Moscow, a beautiful dog. He played with everything he found on the floor, running and jumping around happily, always putting smiles on people’s faces.

Loved the tree house I stayed in (Mariposa), that had a small outdoor kitchen, amazing vibes, lovely team, would definitely come back ♥️
