Flux Modern

Had the pleasure of shopping at Flux Modern twice now and both times found some amazing MCM pieces for my apartment. The shop is run by a friendly, knowledgeable, no-pressure staff. The first time we purchased a gorgeous coffee table and kitchen table and came to pick it up. The staff were so helpful and efficient in getting the pieces ready for us to pack into our van. The second time we found a dresser and two nightstands at an amazing price! We had these pieces delivered and delivery was just as great an experience as pick up. Drew was flexible with the date and time and was professional and kind when he delivered the pieces. It’s a great place to shop even if you’re just looking for something to do on a weekend—their collection of furniture and antiques is great!—but I can guarantee you won’t leave empty-handed.

Visited FluxModern in search of some MCM pieces for my new-to-me house. I previously visited other places in Brooklyn and was honestly discouraged by prices (so expensive!). I found flux Modern somehow through the Instagram Algorithm goblins, and so I said why the heck not. I am delighted to report that Flux Modern had exactly what I was looking for and then some! I was able to purchase a credenza and a dining table and set of 4 chairs. Beautiful pieces and an honest and fair price compared to everything else I've seen out there. Danielle was so kind and helpful and I simply cannot wait to go back when my paycheck allows me to so I can continue to build the MCM home of my dreams :) Also - they have a basket of measuring tapes (thank you Kim) for you to use in case you forget to bring one. 15/10 definitely will shop there again!

I love this place. It's true what the lady says, it transforms you to the 60's. Great vintage pieces, great prices, great selections and best of all, great customer service. A must in your mid-century modern bucket list.

I will always be a customer. I’ve had the good fortune of buying two pieces from Drew and Danielle. Not only is the furniture amazing, but their integrity, client service and good nature are beyond impressive - especially in a world when those things seem to be lacking. Support small business and this family - they more than deserve it.

Danielle and Drew are great!! My wife and I bought an AMAZING vintage bedroom set from Flux Modern. They were great to work with, the delivery team was so awesome, and they followed up with cleaning and maintenance tips. Would absolutely buy from them again. Their inventory is just so good. Definitely check this place out!

Can't say enough about how great this place is! Andrew has a fantastic eye for authentic mid century pieces... His prices are very reasonable and we have purchased several pieces ( Credenza, side table, draperies) from Flux to furnish our Mid Century Ranch. Delivery services are available for the tri-state area at a very fair and reasonable price. I'm almost afraid to post this review because Flux is a treasure that many of us who are in the know want to keep a secret all to ourselves! Sign up for mailing list and get emails for upcoming warehouse sales to save even more money! We are looking for more pieces and love visiting this store once a week to see what new pieces are available as inventory sells and is replenished often (at least every 2 weeks)... Shout out to the terrific showroom saleswoman, Judy, who is very knowledgeable about the inventory and extremely personable and professional.

Purchased a coffee table and table lamp at Flux Modern today. It was an absolute delight shopping here, and I will plan to do so again in the future. The showroom has a very well curated collection. All items were in great condition, and prices were also very reasonable considering the quality of the store’s inventory.

This shop is seriously above the bar. Bought a Broyhill gentleman's chest and the price and service was absolutely top drawer. White glove delivery! Shop here now!
