From oklahoma visiting my sister. She brought us here because we love trying new liquors & they had a decent tasting. PROS: Food was decent. Burgers & meat were hot & tender. Pretzels were warm/soft. CONS: some stuff definitely overpriced. For the amount of corned beef & Mac n cheese my husband got it wasn't worth the price. Refer to the pic. My nephew got the wings & they were dry & pretty burnt. Seemed they were cooked too long & the mac & cheese was cold. Secondly, this is the worst service we've ever recieved. We were not greeted upon arrival or when we went to order. Pure silence. No customer service at all. They were not busy at all! Only one other table. Thirdly, for the tasting, we walked in & the bartender continued to work. He stopped after a few minutes to slide a menu over & continued to work. We chose & he made it a point, in a loud rude manner to tell us if we brought in a drink from the other side, he couldn't serve us. We had nothing but water. We chose & he poured, slid it over & walked away. My sister sometimes can't make up her mind & when she asked him to surprise her, which most bartenders love to do, he seemed annoyed. When we tabbed out, again, silence & annoyance. Now typically, I would chalk his up to maybe he had a bad day, rude customers, etc. But when I went to the restroom before leaving & another couple walked in, he was none to happy to explain the flights, drinks, make conversation, etc. I'm not sure if they had something against us, we didn't look right or what but we did NOT recieve the customer service others after us did. Please beware, they may just not want to serve you. Will not return.

Google
Massive play area outside keeps the little ones busy. Lots of parking. Lots of picnic tables outside where pets are allowed. They have a great selection of brews, cocktails, mocktails; and Monks serves yummy BBQ bites. Easily one of our favorite breweries in the area.

Great spot for barbecue and alcoholic beverages. Wasn't that crowded on a Friday. I am from Oregon visiting a buddy that lives here and he said there is usually a long line to get food and drinks but it was not crowded. Food and drinks were great and the musical talent was excellent as she played a variety of music...not hip hop though but lots of classic tunes you will recognize. Next door they have a place where they sell bourbon and gin so I purchased a bottle of bourbon also for the trip back home but may have had some last night also. For food we had the fried chicken (the magic words), brisket and ribs along with a side of collard greens (needed to cook longer), baked beans and cornbread (sweet and souffle like and delicious).

Google
First time here and was blown away! The bartender at the distillery was fantastic—he walked us through each step of creating our cocktails and gave us the history of the liquors, the mint infused simple syrup, etc. The mojito flight was incredible! Also, almost everything in our cocktails was homegrown (created/distilled by Flying Ace Farm). We walked over to the brewery side of the farm after, and enjoyed BBQ, live music, and the beautiful outdoor space. They also do free trivia on Friday nights! Highly recommend!

If you like solid beers, spirits and good food, a place worth stopping. Ribs were delicious, we sampled all the sides and the beers were solid and a good selection. If your visiting Harper's Ferry, I think it's worth the ride.

Google
Great food (BBQ) and drink options for dine-in or carry out. Distillery on site. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Grounds and event space is very family and pet friendly.

Google
Very very neat place... I would highly recommend stopping in and checking them out. The food is pretty good, and the drinks are WAY BETTER!!! They have 2 different sides as VA has some strange laws about drinking Beer and Liquor in the same area??? Once you move past that you will be really surprised at what is inside. The beer side has some great choices, and even a few great sours... They need to get into the heavily fruited sours, and thick smoothie sours though!!! Come on Flying Ace!!! The distillery is a great spot!! The drinks are all made with fresh ingredients, and boy are they all delicious. The Whiskey/Bourbon is really good, and they infuse and wash their own stuff. They do a hell of a job!! I will be back soon, and you should stop in!!!

Alright I'm going to try to give this place an objectively fair review because I like what Flying Ace Farm is about, and I'm a local that frequents this place. 1 - Family Friendliness (4/5 stars): I visit this place with kids. The playground is AWESOME, and the vibes are great for youngsters. (4/5 stars, because it was really messy) 2 - Drinks (4/5 stars) The beer is solid. Overpriced, but solid. If you go next door to the distillery, be prepared to spend $12 for a 1 oz pour of cask-strength bourbon. 3 - Food (0/5 stars) The food sucks. It's not edible. It's insanely priced. I just have to be honest. I live in Purcellville and go to Monk's BBQ all the time. The Monk's BBQ at Flying Ace is nothing like the Monk's in Purcellville. If you go here, do not go hungry, because the food is a waste of money. Here's what I ordered when I visited last Friday: A: Giant Pretzel ($12): Stale and the inside was frozen. The cheese that accompanied the pretzel showed signs of being reheated numerous times, and had a dry & crusty layer on top. It was inedible. B: Ribs Half-Rack ($20): The portions were TINY. I don't know what kind of pig these ribs came from, but the "half rack" was around 5 inches x 4 inches. I measured. This came with approximately 4 tiny ribs. I mentioned this to the staff at Monk's and they were just like "yeah it's tiny"... Totally not worth it. Waste of money. Pretty sure this came from piglet. C: Side of beans ($4.50): Inedible. Thew this away. It was completely dried out and the beans were rock-hard. Was almost certainly re-heated numerous times before being served. D: Cornbread ($4.50): Underdone. Didn't finish this because it was so gross. I'm from Georgia, I've had cornbread all my life. What I got from Monk's was not cornbread. I know how Monks does their "custard style" cornbread, but this was not that. This was soggy and not cooked. I love the potential this place has and what it's about. The vibes are fine, but do not eat here. This is not the Monk's you get in Purcellville. I will be coming back here soon and will revise my review if this place has improved.

Yelp
Stopped by Flying Ace Farm and dove into their pulled BBQ pork sandwich--a smoky, tender masterpiece piled high on a soft bun, with just the right amount of tangy sauce. It's comfort food with a bold kick. Paired it with their raspberry sour ale, which was refreshingly tart and fruity, cutting through the richness of the pork like a charm. The combo? Unexpectedly perfect. Great vibes, friendly staff, and a scenic setting that makes you want to linger. A must-visit for BBQ lovers and craft beer fans alike.

Yelp
Food hasn't disappointed yet. The recent visit, they weren't quite ready upon opening and my hamburger bun was cold, but the burger as a whole was delish & the lemonade... yummy. Beer... tasty, cocktails...smoooooth. The BLUF remains...Is it worth the drive? YES!
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
My new favorite! Hreat beer and great whiskey. Drink there or take home. The burgers and bbq best in loudoun! Dont forget the baked beans!

Peter K.

Yelp
OK place, but wouldn't recommend for the food. Could have been better. Brisket, dry and overcooked. Texas sausage the same. Collard greens were tasteless. Dirt pudding pretty good, but just grocery pudding with whipped cream on top and Oreos in it, so no big deal. Maybe it's popular because there isn't much else around? People very nice. Not worth a long trip...

Yelp
Hey! This is a really cool location! and they have some really really cool beers! I love coming here to hang out and enjoy good weather among the barns and trees. I don't have as much experience with the food, maybe because I ordered beef tips once and they were quite disappointing.... Is it because I'm from Baltimore, where Beef Tips at the Pit Beef places are charred, meaty and tasty? These were not But I'll keep coming back for the beer. They also gave me a free Veteran's beer! Thank You!

Yelp
Amazing bbq and superb drinks. Honestly probably the best bbq in nova. Also did the bourbon flight at the distillery side and loved it. Bought a toasted bourbon to take home. Took 1 star off because I asked the bartender what the difference was with the toasted bourbon and he replied "the barrel is charred". When i asked "arent they all charred?" He replied "it's extra charred" which is not correct.

Yelp
This was a fun stop along the way in our winery travels. We stopped in for beer and seltzers for those less passionate about wine and it was great. They have an extensive menu and some amazing cocktails from the distillery side. We shared some of the appetizer food and enjoyed the scenic view and live music outside. This place has it all and a great atmosphere for enjoying friends and the beautiful Countryside. It was a large facility with plenty of room in all of the various locations and they are well staffed so service was great too.

Yelp
I failed at getting many pictures but I can't say enough great things about Flying Ace Farm for hosting events. They provided a massive indoor pavilion for my daughters 1st birthday and we were able to purchase catering through Monks BBQ. Their staff was THE best. I literally emailed every brewery in Loudoun and I could instantly tell the difference in service. From Jennifer's helps with ironing out the plans and the budget, to Hannah's help on site, to their entire staff help unloading our decorations, seamlessly setting up the catering and just being above and beyond. Not only were they the best offer in value of venue and food quality, their service was superior. I host a ton of parties and I was really blown away. I'll be honest, I initially started working with a different venue after collecting quotes and the rudeness was next level. I think I'm fairly easy to work with but who knows! You'd think for a business being kind would be part of the business but reading past reviews- it was a common theme. Anyways, everything turned around once I reached out to Flying Ace and talked to Jennifer. My nerves were instantly calmed and I could tell I was in great hands. The massive indoor pavilion has a small stage, barrells, tables and a bar should you choose to offer alcohol (or the tap room is right next door). We had room for kids crafts, climbing blocks, all the things and plenty of room left over! They have a walk through available of the venue on their website. I also recommed just for visiting their brewery and distillery. They also have a ton of land for kids to run around, a huge playground and live music every weekend. Thank you again Flying Ace!

Yelp
Out of the way but worth a detour! Flying ace has it all: restaurant, brewery, distillery, and (sometimes) disc golf! The restaurant is associated with the same group that runs Monks in Purcellville. I had the Alabama smoked chicken and it was the best bbq chicken I have ever had! It had a generous portion size and a smokey and unique flavor that was incredible. I also appreciated the fact that leg quarters were served and not chicken breast; they are so much more flavorful. The beer selection was excellent, they even had TWO imperial stouts on tap! Not to leave anything out, I managed to taste the bourbon as well and, though pricey, it was delicious.. a perfect way to warm up on a cold winter day. The service was excellent. Both people that helped me were friendly and well-informed about the food and drink. It seems as though I have a new favorite brewery in Loudoun County!

Yelp
Very scenic and kid friendly! Went there to meet up with some friends and brought our kids and they had a great time running around and playing on the playground area there.

Yelp
Worth the drive. Good beer and VERY GOOD BBQ (Monks). Family friendly; we've been out with the kiddos a few times, and the boys devour their food. The pulled pork and smash burger were hits as were the Memphis Nachos (with pulled pork). The queso on the nachos is to die for, right amount of kick and perfect consistency. My personal favorite was the brisket; moist, tasty, and a bright pink smoke ring. Brisket done right. Sides were top notch as well (potato salad, mac and cheese, collards, vinegar slaw, all well prepared). New England IPA, West Coast IPA, Hefeweizen, and Sours hit the mark. They even make a decent Old Fashioned. Veteran friendly. We've been a few times and will be back. Only real complaint is that it's the same line for beer and food, and the employees don't police the (occasionally) long line AT ALL. You end up having to be the "line starts back there, pal" guy. Four out of Five.

Yelp
Stopped by while I was in the area for a quick flight and some lunch. The brisket was great, almost melt in your mouth. I enjoyed their original bbq sauce with it. Also had potato salad on the side which was awesome. The beers were all well made, I had a few different styles so I'd recommend trying more than one! The bartender recommended a few different favorites which were great choices. As I was headed out I stopped by the distillery side and couldn't resist trying it. A bit young but I still enjoyed the tasting. The rum barrel was my favorite

Yelp
Great brewery with fantastic staff and a resection of beers on tap, plus a satellite location for Monks- what's not to like? The main tasting room is in a barn like setting with a huge bar and all the taps behind it. It's easy to have a hard time figuring out what to try. The offer almost the full menu from Monks, so while you are trying one of the beers, you can enjoy some delicious BBQ. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
We visited Flying Ace Farm for the first time last week early on a Thursday afternoon. It was a great time to visit - as there were only a few other customers on hand hanging out - so we avoided the crowds and kids loudly running amok. We each ordered two tasting flights - tasting flights come with 4 tasters at a time. I'm guesstimating the cups were 4 oz. pours. We started with most of the lighter style beers on the first flight - then proceeded to some of the higher ABV brews - Pale Ales and IPAs in the second round of tasting flights. We sat outside out back under the roof. It was a cool afternoon out - so it was very comfortable. We also ordered some food while we were there. Monk's BBQ has a full kitchen set up on-site. I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of Vinegar slaw. They give you a small puck to let up you know when your order is ready (the lights on the puck start flashing when your order is ready). I was so hungry I tore into that burger - and it was scrumptious and delicious! After the first bite, the manager came out with a plate with 3 strips of bacon on - they had forgotten to put the bacon on my burger - I was so hungry - I had not yet noticed. To help make up for it - in addition to bringing me the bacon - they also brought me a full serving of their Pork Belly on a stick. Succulent and delicious! Great food! Overall - we sampled 8 brews. I enjoyed 4 of them - the other 4 I would not order. That's pretty good for a craft brewery. #FlyingAceFarm

Yelp
This place was easy to find and had a lot of parking available. They have a large back area with picnic tables, a deck, and tables and chairs underneath the deck. They have a large menu that includes beers, cocktails, wine, mocktails, and food. I tried two of their beers, one of them being the honey ginger one (can't remember the name), which I thought was tasty. Their old fashioned was surprisingly good too. Food was not bad, but can't give a true review as I only had the nachos and brisket. Dogs are welcome where the picnic tables are and under the deck, and obviously have to be leashed. There was also live music, so it was an enjoyable visit. I already have plans to go back as this place is one of my top places to go for drinks and food with friends.

Yelp
This place is awesome. The brewery and distiller are in separate buildings but can get mixed drinks and spirits in the brewery. The distillery has special mixed drinks. The food is good and shocks service. Kid friendly with a large outdoor playground. Only complaint is you have to walk in the grass a decent distance to get to the playground, so pushing a stroller can be difficult. They would be wise to pave a path.

Madi L.

Yelp
My family loves to enjoy the awesome breweries in Loudoun and wanted to try out Flying Ace, since we had never been! We were extremely disappointed by the atmosphere, beer, food, and service. The beer is very bland with little flavor. My husband had two different IPAs and could barely taste the hops. The second IPA was so bland, he didn't even want to drink it. I had the Hefeweizen and Pilsner, both of which tasted like beer that had been poured over ice, that had then melted and watered it down. The food is from Monks, which is normally one of our favorite BBQ spots, but at Flying Ace, it tasted like we were being served the leftovers from the day before. The lack of flavor was astounding, and our child, who normally eats everything they are given, couldn't finish more than a third of the Mac and Cheese before asking for a snack from home instead. On the website and Instagram page, Flying Ace looks beautiful and expansive, but in person it was actually quite small and somewhat run down for how new of a place it is. The bartenders were more interested in their phones and talking to one another than interacting with customers. Overall, we were very disappointed in Flying Ace and will not be returning. There are many better quality, family-friendly, military-friendly breweries in Loudoun County that I would recommend visiting before Flying Ace.

Claire N.

Yelp
The drinks are always good, but the food is very hit and miss. It's a great place to have a beer outside with friends on a nice day.
google avatar

Joevi F.

Yelp
Flying Ace! Great brewery with a farm setting. The menu is very vast with beer options and cocktails/mocktails. The cocktail was made very well and it was strong. The brisket nachos were great and was fairly priced for the amount you get. I came here on a weekday so there were not a lot of people but I would definitely get the appeal during the weekend when it is busy. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor, the outdoor seating has a nice view. Great spot, I will be coming back.
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
Such a great experience every time. Great views and yummy beer. IPAs are especially tasty. Live music often (check their event calendar). Friendly staff. 21 and up deck area. Huge playground for the kiddos away from the music. Dog friendly. But wait, there's more! They have a distillery and cocktails and now offer Walsh Winery wines too. They also have Monks BBQ however I haven't had the best experience with the food... I love businesses who support our brave military and veterans. Show your ID and get a free beer.
google avatar

Jill S.

Yelp
Service was absolutely terrible. I ordered 3 mixed drinks while I was there at different times throughout the day and each time my drink order never printed for the bartender to make. I waited more than 15 minutes and had to ask the bartender what happened to my drink order and they responded in a rude/dismissive way. Their picnic tables are in such horrific condition that a bench collapsed and people in our party fell to the ground. Lantern fireflies have completely taken over there and sap drips on your from the tree. Aside from the yummy food, this place has nothing good to offer. Will not be coming back here.

Kat D.

Yelp
Came here fairly early on a Saturday; on the beer side the atmosphere seemed really cool. Shortly after walking you can tell there's nobody in charge. The line to order kept changing direction... customers were getting upset at others because of that. When we ordered our food & drinks, a young ginger college girl, rudely said to us "No", when we went to place our order. All of us ordered our food & she would say, "No.". Good customer service would be, "Hi! Just to let you know, we are out of __,__, & __." Rather than having us all order & if they're out of something just saying, "no". Not to mention when being asked to speak up, she continued to talk in the same tone. You could tell she didn't want to be there but that's no one's fault but hers. When we were finally able to place our orders, she gave unclear directions & we had to ask a different employee. Seating was also fairly limited compared to other breweries with a lot of space & nice views. They could defiantly put a lot more seating in. The whiskey side was great compared to the beer/food side. Even though there was 1 guy in there compared to the 2-3 women in the beer side. He was friendly & nice, & seemed happy to help us. If I were to come back I'd definitely recommend not coming on a weekend. Since it's mostly young college kids working when it's busy on the weekends it's a lot for them to handle. So just come during the week when it's slow paced, that they can handle!

Yelp
I really enjoy everything about this place. The aviation theme, the food, the beer, the cocktail options. They have some weekday specials, so make sure to check those out. We've been there for burger special and loved the value of a burger, side, and beer. Nachos seem to be going out every time we walk past the kitchen pickup window. They have a bar where you order. The food items get a buzzer and will be picked up by the kitchen. By the kitchen there are stairs to the upper level where they have dart boards, games, and TVs. They have an upper deck outside that you can access from the 2nd level or from the stairs on either side outsides. They have a kid play area out back, a pavilion for music, and lots of picnic tables. The distillery is in a separate building but is a must to at least walk in and see the plane suspended from the ceiling. They also have shirts and hats for purchase, along with bottles of their fine distilled juice Plenty of parking.

Yelp
A working farm, bespoke distillery and accomplished brewery that is family friendly serving up some serious eats! The distilleries decidedly its own attraction due to VA ABC liquor regulations, but the employees are pleasant, the BBQ is delicious and the pours are tall and fresh. Beware, their cask strength bourbon at 116 proof sips dangerously smooth!
google avatar

Randy C.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous setting and atmosphere on a "farm" on the Virginia side of the Potomac River a few minutes from Point of Rocks. This is a distillery/brewery restaurant on a legit farm setting (see photo). In back they have a large outdoor area with some cafe table sitting (about 20 person) and another 30 picnic tables (some under parasols with string lighting and finally but not least a decent size stage. The wings, giant pretzel and bbq were tasty. I especially liked the apple smoked mushrooms along with some of their Alabama White sauce for dipping- which reminded me of German "fest" mushrooms. Also the Flying High hefeweizen went well with the mushrooms and pretzel. My favorite beer is the Bloody Butcher cream ale- very nice! Bourbon is excellent and bringing a bottle home for the holidays! Customer service is terrific Ryan B. was terrific with everything.
google avatar

Tracy S.

Yelp
First of all, it's far off from the beaten path and you don't have to worry about parking. There's a tasting house inside the distillery. It's setup like a farm with silos, picnic tables, a main stage and playground outside. There are two decks that overlook the tables and stage. Order inside and sit inside or outside with your pager. We had brisket nachos and there were enough for the three of us. We had burnt ends as well. All had a smoked flavor and were delicious. There are plenty of beers and cocktails to please any palette. I'll go again!

Sam S.

Yelp
Last time I ate a Flying Ace they had gourmet food trucks and the barbque was fresh, hot, and delicious. Now they cook their own food (Monks) and today it was not very good. High school or college kids were doing cooking. Told the food would be ready in 5 minutes but took 45 and was just warm. Maybe Saturday evening was just is an off time for them. Ordered burnt tips, pulled pork, corn bread, baked beans , potato salad and banana cream pie (which tasted like a ready mix with a couple banana slices thrown in). There was live music but the sound was too low and hard to hear unless sitting up close. Maybe invest in some new speakers. Except for the IPA beer which was just ok, there really was nothing to write home about here.

Yelp
What a fun brewery! This brewery and distillery is located on a large farm property, and there and sprawling corn fields on the horizon. The building itself looks like a big barn. There is ample seating both indoor and outdoor. The top deck has a beautiful view of the hillsides. The outdoor area has a big playground, and people's kids were running around having the time of their life. Everything seemed very family friendly. We enjoyed a couple brews each. I tried the Apple Beer and the strawberry rhubarb kolsch. My fiancé tried the Sombeero and the Bee-2 Honey beer. We really like the quality of the beers. Everything is brewed on site. We also checked out the distillery. We had the Melon cooler which had house rum and melon purée. It was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. They let you sample beers before you decide. Everything was great! We would like to come back!

Susan T.

Yelp
Great beverage and food selection. Enjoyed the choice of the distillery and brewery on site. Wonderful outdoor venue and live entertainment!

Yelp
We went to the distillery side because the signs pointed us there for the tasting room. We stood in a short line and ordered. Then we stood and waited at least 20 minutes for our 4 drinks. The cashier made some of the drinks, having to follow the recipes. There was another bartender and she STOPPED making drinks with all of the people waiting and spent her time wiping down bottles and refilling fruit juice bottles. I've never seen anything like it. When we finally got our drinks, there wasn't even an apology for the wait. We did go to the other side to get a beer after. We discovered then that they can make ALL of the same drinks they can make in the distillery side. My advice, only go to the beer side and get beer or distilled drinks, plus food.

Yelp
My friend suggested we stop here after our winery stop on a Sunday. I had never heard of Flying Ace, but I was really impressed. I loved the location and scenery, which was so beautiful to sit outside and enjoy with a drink. We started off on the side with cocktails. You can't take them to the other side where they serve beer, so we sat outside and enjoyed them there. Then we went to check out their bar and ordered some beer. I wasn't really a fan of the beer, but my husband seemed to like the ipa that they had. The ambiance and overall scenery is amazing. I especially love the concept, as it's like no other place I've been to.

Yelp
We happened to stop in on a self guided brewery tour of Northern VA (after hitting Mad Science in Point of Rocks, on our way to Vanish in Leesburg) and were SO GLAD we did! This ended up being our favorite brewery out of the 3 we tried! With amazing food and good brews, outdoor seating and live music, this checked all of our boxes. Service is friendly and efficient and prices were reasonable too. 100% recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
We had a very nice lunch on a rainy Friday afternoon. My husband loved his smashburger and I thought my brisket was very tender. We really liked the wit beer (picked up a six pack for later:)). I tried the saison, cacao stout, and oat stout, but didn't like them as much as the wit. Wish we had stopped by after three as they had a great deal- two pieces of chicken and a beer for $13! The outdoor area looked great if the weather had been better. We'll be back!

Yelp
We came here on a whim during Christmas break and stopped in for drinks. Hannah our waitress was a delight. The rum was not my fav. Very dry w/o any residual sweetness. Not my cup of tea. They are currently serving their white dog as their main product is still a few years out from being properly aged. It was surprisingly good. Shame it's only 40proof. Their blended bourbons were good. I was surprised by how smooth they were. Even the cask strength. I enjoyed drinking and enjoying the sunshine out on the farm. How cool that the corn used for the alcohol is grown on location! I'll be back in a few years when they are really serving their own. Plus they make beer.

HB K.

Yelp
I had the Crossfire DIPA.... It was very good. We're from LoCo and have to drive out into the middle of no place to visit this spot... we found the staff to be very unfriendly. Someone needs to train them to enjoy their jobs more and SMILE to their paying customers.... The biggest issue was line formation. Perhaps some signs and ropes would help.

Yelp
I came here with my wife and a couple of friends from the area. Arrived around 8 pm so didn't really get to see the expansive outdoor space, but inside was nice. The beer was comparable to other breweries from the area and the food is centered around bbq from Monks. For me the brewery food was above average. I had the brisket tacos and the others had the trash can nachos. All of it was pretty darn good! We sat upstairs which has a spiral staircase up an old grain solo, which is pretty cool. It is a kid friendly place but the upstairs is 21+ for those wanting that. There were quite a few tables and 5-6 nice dart boards. Overall, we were there for 2 beers each and really enjoyed our short time there. We'll be back for sure. Cheers!

Yelp
Food game isn't strong yet. My understanding is that Monks BBQ will have a kitchen there at some point and that will change things for the better. Beers are decent, but nothing super memorable. Let's put it this way, if we didn't already have 30+ craft breweries in NoVa one would be very impressed by Flying Ace's brew. The distillery is a work in progress in my opinion. Let's see where they are in a couple of years. The property is huge, so there is plenty of opportunity to spread out. The place has a big fam vibe. Would be great for events.

Yelp
3 Star Average 1 star for service - one long common line to order food, beer, and cocktails. 25 mins to order just cocktails and get them. Inefficient set up that must be improved before we return. 5 stars for beautiful setting, atmosphere, and live music. Plenty of seating. Drinks were great - orange crush, grapefruit crush, bourbon smash, and IPA.

Yelp
I went on opening weekend and I was most definitely blown away. First off, this place is BIG. It's a brewery, distillery, BBQ, and event space all in one - and it fits all of them easily. I chatted with the owner on opening day and he was just tickled pink at their success. At the moment they weren't doing beer flights but I did get a (plastic) pint of their hefeweizen. But once their restaurant license is ready in the summer, they'll have flights and mixed drinks. There was lots of indoor and outdoor space. You shouldn't have any problems with COVID limitations; there's just that much room. The distillery is adjacent to the brewery. Because of ABC rules you can't bring one beverage into the other location, but there's a nice upstairs space for whisky flights. I'm not a gin drinker but I did really like the '90 proof'. The location's name is a tribute to the owner's grandfather, who was was one of the very few people to become an 'Ace' in both WW II and Korea. There's even mock fighter plane (not to scale, but still big) in the distillery. Last but not least - they are going to be serving Monk's BBQ. Already the outside BBQ grillers were set up.

Yelp
Loudoun s newest brewery. The good: What a venue. Great space. Nice outdoor seating, playground, stage, food truck and staff. In fact every staff person was helpful and nice. The contracted bourbons were good too. The ok: Beer was good for just opening. No complaints on beer but the beers needs some maturity and that will come. Not so good: The homemade whiskey and rum. Enjoyed trying it but kinda like turpentine. Note: monks bbq coming. Should be great.

Yelp
Enjoyed the cocktail flight while my husband ordered a different flight. We also enjoyed the brewery and the Bavarian pretzel as a snack. The service here was really good and the staff is knowledgeable of their menu items. It's a great place to visit!

Yelp
Fun outing with my isband. The bbq ribs were fantastic. The mushrooms are way salty. Menu was confusing. I asked for cornbread expecting it's a substitute for the usual bread that comes with almost any bbq I've ever had. Note: the menu has a line above the entire thing noting it's 1$ extra to sub cornbread. Well that's only for sandwiches but none of the menu items say they are sanduiches so we asked and the bartender order taker said oh yeah you just have to know or have someone tell you what is a sandwich and what isn't. For a relatively tiny piece of cornbread I paid 5$ extra. No. Not worth that. As for the bartender order taker...YOU took the order! And we told you it was our first time so maybe if you know a menu is misleading CHANGE it! Or tell the customers what is a sandwich. A full star off for that nonsense and the completely inedible mushrooms. Probably should have said something. Anyway... the taster is generous. Mac and cheese is a to be avoided. It was super runny and not tasty. Brisket was delicious though we asked for all lean and got one of each but really nice.

Yelp
Ok this place is seriously awesome- suggestion came from a coworker with a doggie! Worth the enjoyable road trip. Doggie friendly outdoor and "beer garden" but no dogs allowed inside the distillery or brewery. They have live music on weekends at the beer garden! Great selection- interiors are clean and well managed. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Pretty decent sized venue with multiple buildings and multiple bars/taps. You cannot enter the distillery with any beer and vice versa since it's technically an ABC. The pumpkin & crème cocktail was delicious!!! Just the right amount of kick to flavor. The cider thyme can be made hot or cold BTW! We also got the flight of available bourbon/whiskey/rum- I'm not a connoisseur by ANY means so they all tasted gross to me but did the job. The 115 proof one did the job QUICK!! The peach sour on tap was sooooo good. Also- they have doggie treats made with leftover byproduct of the beer ingredients, my pup LOVED them! Very nice quiet spacious venue with plenty to do and scenery to explore. They have food trucks at the moment but are hopeful to have their own barbecue running around December. ALSO they have bomb charcuterie platters at the brewery for $25!

Yelp
We love Flying Ace Farm so much we don't mind making the hour long drive. Drinks and food are delicious and the staff are awesome. Great outdoor space which is family friendly (even the four legged ones).

Yelp
Everything was great! It was super clean and well cared for. They have live music and trivia on Fridays. I ordered the burnt ends and Mac and cheese with a watermelon sour beer. I got the habanero margarita as well which is one of the best spicy margs I have ever had! The bartenders were also quick and were honest about what the best things to order were and the things they didn't like. They have a giant playground so it is perfect for families! Highly recommend.
