This park has so much to offer—fishing piers, volleyball nets, two playgrounds, boat launch sites, horseshoe pits, charcoal grills, restrooms, plenty of picnic tables and two reservable pavilions perfect for events. We hosted my daughter’s birthday here, and it was absolutely beautiful. There’s plenty of shade, refreshing breezes through the trees, and a serene, scenic setting that made the day so enjoyable. It's right in the water. The staff were attentive as well, coming by periodically to empty the trash throughout the event. Highly recommend this park for family gatherings or special occasions!

This is a large park with several pavilions, a few playgrounds of different sizes for big and little kids, a boat launch area, restrooms, and fishing areas including a pier to walk out on. It is a great place for everyone! There is a restaurant next to the property that is open during the summer and has great food also!

One of our favorite hidden gems! This place has proven to be our oasis time and time again. We have put on wellness events here, empowering and uplifting the community, family functions, fishing… just to name a few. I love this gem.

It's a beautiful location with a nice backdrop of water views, long jetty and boating facilities. Offers adequate parking, covered space for picnics, children's playground and toilets.

Beautiful water front park No fishing on docks ( those of you going to fish) nice spot to watch the water or walk your dog. We got to listen to a really good band right off the water which was very fun!

I have not been here in 30 years its very nice and very big compared to what I remember. It's good to see my boat license money put into somthing. Maybe one day I can come here and drop the boat in? It's a shame the restrooms are closed for the winter. Where are we supposed to go. Not many trees.

This was my third visit. While the first two we were only there for the music and drinks, we had a very pleasant experience. This visit we tried the food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich . It was basic, over cooked and so small it was almost unnoticeable on the roll it was served on. We were not waited on at the seats on the outside of the bar area. We ordered from the bartenders inside. They were pleasant and attentive. The Island was not busy when we were there. I also noticed this time that the sand has pieces of stone through it. I had an incredibly difficult time walking through it, as it was painful on bare feet. The first visits the sand was quite fine and soft much like you would experience at a beach. I will return for the views and a drink.
