What a cool place to have a meal! Very family friendly and budget friendly spot near the Falls for a family meal. The theme of restaurant is aliens and UFOs, so unique. The price is extremely reasonable. Despite a tiny error on the food when it came out, the server took the dish off the bill. The service is exceptional! Will return again when I'm in the area!

Google
This place was such a fun surprise! We came for breakfast and everything was delicious – from the eggs Benedict to the crispy home fries and fresh fruit. The coffee was great too, and prices were super fair for the area. The atmosphere is what really makes it special – the whole place is shaped like a UFO and decked out with alien decor. It’s retro, quirky, and just really fun to be in. Definitely one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had! Our server, Ally, was friendly and quick – service was awesome. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Niagara Falls. Great food, fun vibe, and a cool spot to grab a bite!

Google
I was here as a kid but now we took my 4 year old. The food was great, made now we ordered it and will definitely return. However our server was not very attentive, she could have been a lot better. The man whom brought our food was more attentive and brought us extra napkins and more coffee!

Google
We came for breakfast on a Saturday, and I highly recommend this place! The prices here are super reasonable, especially considering it’s in Niagara where everything seems to be crazy expensive these days. The food and service was really great, and the atmosphere is hilarious - I loved it! Really great little spot, I will definitely come back next time I’m in town!

Google
Since the 90s, I have always gone to this restaurant whenever I'm in Niagara Falls. The portions are huge and the prices are great. The food is excellent, the restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Don't waste your time with chain restaurants. You won't be disappointed with The Flying Saucer

Google
This place is amazing, me and my family come here for breakfast every time we take a trip to Niagara Falls. The atmosphere here is so cool because its alien themed and the restaurant is litterally a FLYING SAUCER! The food here his amazing with a very wide variety, food always tastes amazing whether its lunch or breakfast. Will definitely keep coming back. 100% recommend. I got the Fingers & Wings, it tasted amazing

Google
100% recommend this spot. The staff was great and the food was good. Yes I drove over 4 hours to have chicken fingers in a flying saucer. Still a little bummed they didn't have a t-shirt in my size, but I still had a great time.

Yelp
They have huge meal portions. We only had some coffee, maybe 20-30 minutes prior to coming, and we had trouble finishing our meal orders. We had an order for some half rack ribs and the triple patty burger meal. Both meals were delightful. With all the fries that came with the burger meal, the salad for the ribs, as well as the enormous portion of the ribs, it was quite a task to finish everything. I also particularly enjoyed the branding of the place. There are not really a lot of themed restaurants still available, but Flying Saucer proudly exists in that space. A section of the restaurant's layout is circular to resemble a flying saucer, and there are alien displays around inside the place. What my companion shared was that before, they even had some sort of themed paper placemats available with some games or activities to do. That was not present during the time I dined there. The service, for me personally, was not perfect. We had a guy server, and I did not particularly appreciate the style of hip service we received. To exaggerate a bit and better illustrate my point, I like the service where we as customers are treated like kings and queens instead of being treated like dudes or friends. That is just me personally. In the beginning, I found myself having to wait for some time to start ordering because the guy was walking around but not looking up at our general direction to be able to spot us. In the end, our server also tried upselling us some cheesecakes (from the Cheesecake Factory). He tried to upsell it maybe two times too many.

Yelp
The unspoken rule is that if you are visiting Canada you have to eat poutine and of course maple syrup! At the flying saucer we tried their poutine. Poutine is a plate of French fries with gravy and cheese. It's pretty good. Tasty and delicious, the large platter was enough for two of us. We also had a chocolate milk shake, that was delicious! I would totally go back for the milk shake. Wow. I had a hot chocolate, it was ok, tasted a bit watery. The ambiance is nice. It looks like they have repeat customers, regulars, which is always nice. The restaurant itself is shaped like a spaceship, that's pretty cool. The service is good. The waitress was very nice. I would recommend this restaurant for their milkshakes (chocolate!!).

Yelp
Awesome food, service, and basically everything! Recommend for a good brunch with your friends. Bathroom is in a shady place though.

Yelp
Excellent service on day 1 by Jenna. Excellent service on day 2 by Angela. Phenomenal breakfast. I had the E.T.SPECIAL!! Both days! What a bargain price for 3 eggs, toast ,2 large pancakes, a ton of potatoes, 2 large bacon and 2 excellent sausage. Wife had Belgium waffles and loved them! Lots of good coffee. Great family venue!! Got to meet owner's wife , very friendly and I told her We appreciated great food at such reasonable prices. Place was packed but worth the wait of 5 to 10 minutes. Extremely friendly staff, clean restaurant and you think you're inside a dishes while in the restaurant. Amazing

Yelp
This restaurant is a must visit every time I visit Niagara with my family and friends. It's such a cool theme. They have a pretty extensive for either breakfast, lunch and dinner! Portions are always huge and shareable. This is a great spot to go to at any given time of the day!

Desiree H.

Yelp
I would recommend this place 100%! I was actually headed to another breakfast place when I drove by this place and turned around and went here instead. So glad I did! I ordered kids pancakes because the waitress said the original ones came with 4 big pancakes. The kids ones were still a lot to me lol. Everything was so good! The pancakes, the bacon and especially the potato chunks! The service was fast and friendly! Really liked my waitress, I believe her name was Jenna but also not too certain. The interior of the place was cool and loved the outside of the building too. Great place all and all. Get your money worth. I could not finish my food at all! So big on the proportions, or at least mine. If I come back to Niagara Falls, I'd definitely stop again!

Yelp
Food and service was GREAT! Place was busy but we didn't have to wait too long. Cool T-shirts, had to get me one.

Yelp
If you like themed restaurants where architecture is a big part of it. This is the spot for you. If you ever go to Niagara Falls, there is the falls that are extraordinary and then this restaurant. We went to this restaurant for breakfast. The price was very affordable and the food was delicious. The only drawback is that I am a fan of hash browns and they have country potatoes. My favorite thing was that the Sausage was not links, but large sausage patties. That is amazing The service was fast and friendly. I found it amusing that our server would always say "sorry" in that Canadian way when she would check in on us. We did wait for a while, but the restaurant is full. We were just in the back of the line. So be prepared to wait a little. It is worth it so just wait a little. I am a sci fi fan so eating inside a flying saucer is very cool and touristy

Yelp
Space Ship Fun-A -Rama! Great place for a quick meal at a great price. Spending a week in Niagara Falls Ontario can be quite expensive especially down by the water. But my husband found this roadside oddity and it was a perfect place for an afternoon lunch. I love the quirkiness of the alien restaurant in the history behind it. One side is for takeout and the other side is a sit down restaurant with plenty of seating and separate little rooms. Take a stroll around the building and you will see old pictures of what it used to look like in the 1970s. Prices here are extremely reasonable for this area. The staff was really friendly and the food was good. My sister ordered some fish and we thought it would just be too small pieces and then ended up being huge! She also enjoyed the bottomless coffee. Make sure you get the large Coke and they will give you free refills and a takeout cup. I wanted to get a shirt but the one they had on the little alien was out of stock. Boo hoo!!. I'm so glad we were able to come here for the afternoon it was a pretty fun lunch. Why did the alien go to the doctor?? Because he looked a little green..

Yelp
This alien themed and spaceship architecture diner/restaurant was perfect for us and our two kids for a breakfast while we were on vacation. They even had fun Halloween decorations and of course having a placemat the kids can color and play on is always a win. Our server, David, was so calming and transparent. We all ordered breakfasts. My husband got the ET special and was almost able to finish it and enjoyed it! My sons loved their kids menu items (French Toast, Pancakes). I had a crepe. Definitely recommend, especially for those who love aliens/themed restaurants.
google avatar

Yelp
Had lunch here as our first Niagara Falls stop. Cute atmosphere in the spaceship with aliens scattered throughout. I had the chicken Caesar wrap which had fake bacon bits in it which wasn't great but overall it was good; also came with a ton of fries and coleslaw. My husband had a panini and enjoyed it. My daughter had chicken tenders with fries and loved it. Reasonable food prices but $30/t-shirt is a bit extreme.

Yelp
Not just a restaurant, but an experience! It has an American-style vibe and looks like a UFO. For me, it's always great--I love the food: simple, flavorful, and generously portioned. Even though the place is old, the architecture is definitely interesting. The staff is friendly too!
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
The food was so good and super cheap. There was a lot of choices for my family. We had a large group so it suited everyone's taste well. The ambiance was themed appropriately and the wait staff was friendly.
google avatar

Kez R.

Yelp
Went to this place on whim and man, was it the best decision ever. As an alien fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the design of the restaurant. The outside mimics the look of a flying saucer (hence the name) and the inside was decorated like an old (but kind of classy) alien movie. The food itself was priced decently and tasted really good. Portions don't feel too small or too big, it reflects the prices pretty well. The staff were super friendly and very fun to have a conversation with. If you're in the area, you really should stop by. It's 100% worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
Our hotel recommended this place for breakfast as it is good food and great prices. For the two of us it was only about $30 USD. The unique ambiance is quaint and fun for kids. Melissa was a fantastic server, and she was great to get to know a little. It's worth the 10 minute drive from the falls to get good food for a great price!

Yelp
Love this throwback Diner. Ambiance can be a buzz kill when it's screaming kids with their Parents who don't discipline them. The Service Staff work SO Hard. Unbelievably hard. Always with a smile. Always table checking. The Food is Quite Good. Plentiful. Good Portions. Many items made from scratch on site. Even small things like Condiments, Soup. Etc. I definitely recommend Lunch = Soup And Sandwich - Any Day Dinner = Seafood Platter The fish is hand breaded. And very Tasty. The shrimp skewers are Plentiful and yummy. Not overdone. Not rubbery. And you get TWO Sides + a little Garlic Bread (but you won't need it). Please support these hardworking Service Staff. Have fun sitting in a Space Ship #HighlyRecommend

Yelp
The food, great. Ambiance and atmosphere, just as you'd expect being in a flying saucer. The service, meh, pretty average. The restaurant was packed and they didn't have any waiting area and had waiting customers wait in the doorway or outside with no real organized system for seating. The menu, where do I begin? They had all-American classics, Italian dishes, quesadillas and fajitas, stir fry and breakfast all day! Definitely a Jack of all trades kind of place. We decided to indulge in the foot long chili dog, grilled chicken panini, chicken and fried and grilled shrimp, and the BLT. Each of the entrees were very good and the fries were fried perfectly. I would rerun to eat here again, it's a unique atmosphere especially if you have young kids and reasonably priced.

Tom M.

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere!!! Like you went back in time and walked into a spaceship. Staff was great quick and efficient. Turkey club was outstanding. Cheddar cheese balls fantastic. You must try the meat sauce to go with your fries or sandwich. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We randomly decided to stop into this restaurant on my way to the states from Toronto, and we're not disappointed!! Me and my friend thought it'd be subpar and that the only they had going for them was the alien theme and decor, but we were literally so wrong lol. We had ordered the poutine, bacon pierogis, spicy chicken wings, and a huge quesadilla and everything was so yummy. After a long day of driving, the comfort of the food was exactly what we needed. The servers were also so lovely, they clearly loved their job (america, take notes.) and we're happy to be there. 100% recommend this place!
google avatar

Amberr E.

Yelp
This place was awesome! The atmosphere was very space-like. The food was huge portions and very good! The service was INCREDIBLE. Jenna was our waitress and I would recommend her to anyone! She gave us some good tips since we're from NY. I will have to come back for the pancakes!

Anthony G.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Staff was a fantastic. Price just right! Not to far from the falls. I will be back!

Yelp
This restaurant was in a movie we watched. Disappearance on Clifton Hill. So we had to come and see this place in person. Awesome diner experience. We came in just before the breakfast rush. Employees were great very good at what they do. ThIs is a diner but food was good. Fun enjoyable experience.

Mi P.

Yelp
A very cute themed restaurant. Our party of 7 came here for brunch on a Tuesday. We had to wait a little while to be seated and the food took almost an hour to be served, but it was still a pleasant experience. The food (especially the fries, yum) and the portion sizes were great.
google avatar

Sze Ting L.

Yelp
This breakfast place was recommended by our hotel manager as the 'best in the area', but it was honestly very underwhelming. Just your regular american diner - with painfully slow service for seemingly easy orders. the portions are big, but the waffles honestly seemed like they came straight out of the freezer and were popped into the toaster. the toast was a little better. the only part i enjoyed was the bottomless coffee!

Barb C.

Yelp
Great food huge portion Great staff Great prices Line up for breakfast , cheapest breakfast in Niagara

Truth H.

Yelp
The staff was nice, but that's about it. Frozen burgers that was not tasty at all, wet chicken wrap(gross- seemed like canned chicken) and over priced for all of this.
google avatar

Brittany I.

Yelp
Unique interior, generous portions and plenty of space for sitting as a small family or big groups. Very flexible. Attentive waitresses, quick. Efficient. Came here together as a group of 7 All ordered the ET special as it was definitely a bang for our buck. Eggs, sausages, bacon, toast, and pancakes, I mean how can you go wrong?? Love a classic breakfast, and even more with a retro unique vibe. Come here over Dennys or IHOP! I'm sure you would be very surprised and would love it!!!
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Straightforward diner fare in an amazing building. The menu is enormous, and the atmosphere is fun, and will appeal to families with children. Food was okay, though service was a little slow.
google avatar

Deanne M.

Yelp
We decided to come here for brunch after the drive to Niagara. We ordered the Italian Omelette and the Eggs Benedict. Both came with a side of home fries. The eggs for the eggs benedict were cooked fully through. Not a huge deal but I would have preferred them runny. I'm not sure if this is something you should mention when ordering. I also ordered a coffee which has unlimited refills. The food was pretty standard diner fare and the prices were normal. Overall a standard diner with some cool decor.
google avatar

Maria D.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! We were staying overnight in Niagara Falls, and decided to try this place after reading all of the wonderful reviews; we definitely weren't disappointed! The food was delicious, and cheap too; only $6.99 for two eggs, toast, and hashbrowns, such a steal! The service was excellent as well, very attentive and courteous, we were well taken care of. Upon entering a spaceship like building, we noticed many 'space' themed items on the walls, adding a nice touch to the theme. Will definitely be back, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast at an affordable price!
google avatar

Tim U.

Yelp
Great place. They treated my kids well and the food was excellent for diner fare. The space theme was so cool -- evocative of pax Americana, or is that pax Canadiana? In the sea of shameless tourist traps that is Niagara Falls, this resto is authentic.
google avatar

Patty C.

Yelp
I love the Flying Saucer Restaurant. Last week I was visiting from Oklahoma and a friend suggested it. It is a delightful and entertaining place. The food was great and reasonably priced, you won't be price gouged like I've been at other places. Anna was my server and is the best ever. She is a customer service dream. She took care of every need and paid attention to detail. She also has a sparkling personality. Thanks Anna for the great dining experience. I would not hesitate to recommend the Flying SaucerRestaurant to any one!
google avatar

Shaela T.

Yelp
They are busy so get there early! The food is goin but you really go for the spaceship ambiance. It's a unique stop.
google avatar

Gunnar P.

Yelp
It's a neat restaurant that each booth is like a space pod. It was very clean considering how busy they were when we were there. Staff were very friendly. The food is just okay but you get a ton for the cost. Like is kind of ridiculous how much food they give you. Definitely will not leave hungry.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
Have you seen a UFO? Do you like UFO's? Have you ever been inside a UFO? If yes to the first two then come here to fulfill your dream! If yes to the last one come talk to me, I wanna hear stories!! Oh and the food and staff are amazing. I'd rather see a UFO flying around vs someone who wears underwear on the outside flying about
google avatar

Dante M.

Yelp
This was a very fun restaurant to go to as my girlfriend and I are big fans of aliens! The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, and had everything from comics to alien figurines! The service was really good, the food came out quickly, and they came by periodically to check on us! However, where they get you is by asking if you want stuff added to pancakes, extra cheese, etc., without telling you that it costs extra. The food was average. The highlight of the meal was the mixed berry crepes by far! Everything else seemed pre-made and it was comparable to your average diner. I would definitely check this place out if you are an alien fanatic or are vacationing in the area!
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Good food at a reasonable price Staff was friendly. A little off the path but worthwhile. The restaurant had a fun Is alien space ship theme.
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
Best Fish n Chips and we've been to Seattle.. Unique environment, great staff. A must stop in the area.. Way cheaper then the Falls restaurant..

Jason C.

Yelp
Delicious and so cute! Our waitress was fantastic, we really enjoyed the fish and chips, and the kids meals were great. Really good prices for Niagara Falls too!

Erik M.

Yelp
Typical diner fare. I took the kids for pancakes which got good reviews. I had the clubhouse and it was good with a huge mound of fries. I also had the clam chowder which was a bit wallpaper paste-y, I'd avoid that. Service was ok - fairly quick, but with mistakes. Outer space decor is fun for kids. Weird that they don't have any waiting area - if they're full you wait in the vestibule or outside which would be tough in the cold.
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
Great food and everything was amazing! The prices are low, and the portions are huge; we could hardly finish it all. The staff and service are excellent. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to Niagara Falls

Patrick B.

Yelp
The Flying Saucer restaurant has excellent food and service. I would go again and recommend it to anyone who likes dinner food. And the decor is fun. Thanks for the great experience.

Mark B.

Yelp
Good breakfast, fast service, funky ambiance. I ordered the ET Special and needed to phone home for help finishing it. My partner ordered the Belgian waffle and was satisfied. Our server was pleasant and efficient - thanks Jen.

Rob P.

Yelp
I fell in love with the Flying Saucer Drive-in before I walked in the door. I drove by it once: "what the-"; twice: "I have GOT to check that out." I'm a big fan of cheesy 1950s sci fi, so the decor is right up my alley. You can see the saucer shape before you walk in, and it's awesome to see that the inside has windows all the way around, in two circles. It's also impressive that everything is spotless here: despite the fact that it's been open since 1972, and it's always busy here, they keep everything looking like it's fresh off the set of "Plan 9 From Outer Space". It would have been worth a visit even if the food weren't so good. But, the space age cooks here really know their stuff. I got a New York Strip at Remington's Steak House that set me back $50CDN for 14 ounces, and came with almost nothing. This 8 ounce steak wasn't as luxurious, but it was very good, and it came with eggs, toast, and crispy home fries for only $18.99CDN. That's a bargain. Massive, delicious pancakes and stuffed French toast - far too much for one person to eat - will only set you back $12.99. And, they have alcohol! Beer, wine, and liquor are all available here, for a reasonable price. Maybe even more impressive was that they were able to provide fast service despite how busy it was. There was freezing rain today, and the place was still packed. Next time I'm in the Niagara Falls area, I will definitely stop in again, no matter what the weather is like.

Dino A.

Yelp
Best large cups ever and also the food is very good and also has funny pictures in the place

Yelp
Incredible value for homemade food. Great service. The building is a delight of funk. The ET breakfast is filling and a deal. Eggs Benedict have house made hollandaise. Pitchers of soft drinks for the thirsty. Don't miss it!
google avatar

Dwayne L.

Yelp
Food was decent and our server Ashley was fantastic. I had a waffle, eggs and bacon. It was good, could have been a bit hotter but it was still good. It was a touristy place as the decor is made to look spacey. When back up to the falls I'll look to have another meal here. Breakfast Special
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Super cute place. Very kid friendly. Service was fantastic. Food was great. Very different kind of dinner.

Yelp
Awesome ambiance and hip place for down home cookin'! Mom had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes she gave it Dad had fried fish with mashed potatoes Bf had the quesadilla he gave it I had the turkey club with salad The raspberry vinaigrette tasted like cherry cough syrup Service was o.k. We will definitely go back! Good place to make good memories and not too far from the falls.
